“Surprised by the best kung pao shrimp I’ve had in my life. Fresh julienned ginger, scallion, garlic; a brown sauce that showed care and layered attention - not some slapped together mass processed food. The young lady serving was kind, precise, and sat to clean green beans in any down time. Reminded me of my family in India, the women’s hands busy all day with preparation,
with the food from the earth.“

“For a quick, casual, affordable seafood restaurant, I do not think it gets any better than this. They have a large selection of different types of fish, some of which I have never even heard of before. They keep it simple and it is pretty healthy. The coleslaw was actually amazing and one of the best I have ever had. I got the Mahi Mahi and Barramundi, both of which I have never had before. Was not the biggest fan of the Mahi Mahi since it tasted a bit fishy and was too chewy, but the Barramundi was really good. Both were very lean fish and good portions. Staff are super friendly and the restaurant is very clean.“

Tried so many places in the past charging high prices for decent taste but trying the Swai fish extra grilled for the first time.. I was shocked by how high quality this restaurant is!!! I am surprised with how well everything tasted! Plus I paid like $17 bucks!! who now charges fish for that price 😱 Again if this was a $50 plate I would still come back. “The asparagus fries. Crispy & not greasy. You can appreciate the asparagus flavor. We split the Thai spicy salad. It was spicy, but the Thai basil & the peanut dressing were the stars. It didn't need the chicken. The best was the ribeye melt. The meat was cooked perfectly.The sourdough was crusted with parmesan. With a side of horseradish that was perfectly paired for this sandwich.“

“My girlfriend and I recently visited Sushigah during a brief trip from San Diego, and we were thoroughly impressed. With high expectations for sushi, we found Sushigah to be exceptional. We began with a seaweed salad and Crispy Rice, followed by Salmon Sashimi, the Cucumber Special Roll, a Salmon Handroll, and a Spicy Salmon Roll.

Each dish was incredibly fresh and flavorful, with the salmon sashimi practically melting in our mouths. The temperature of the dishes was perfect, and the presentation was outstanding. Sushigah has definitely earned a spot as a must-visit destination for us whenever we're in Pasadena.“

“Another time we were at BODEGON 69, it was a wonderful experience where everything that is expected for calcification was combined such as a great restaurant, service, atmosphere, food all excellent, but if that were not enough the owners Mauricio and Sandra showed us their usual gratitude for our visit but also with incredible generosity, surprising us with the unasked for preparation of a Peruvian snack in addition to a dessert that is not on the list and that Mauricio in charge of preparing it at that precise moment. “Unassuming from the outside, but a truly great Japanese restaurant. Great quality on the seafood. The basic chirashi was very good with a fantastic variety of sashimi. I will definitely go for the deluxe next time! Definitely a must order is the Matsuri Gozen. It’s a beautifully organized set meal and the flavors are spot on.“

“Pretty nice Thai restaurant. They have lots of options and seems very authentic. This is the first place I have been to that offers combination meat with chicken, pork, beef, and shrimp together, which is great for variety. I got the pad Thai, and it was good but too sweet for my taste. The waitress was very nice and the place is clean.“
