“Beautiful wine in a rustic welcoming setting. This is a must see💕”
“What an incredible dinner. Every course had so much flavor and depth. From the beautiful custom pottery they use to the custom silverware. Not a detail is overlooked. We have been to some Michelin star restaurants before and left not satisfied. Six Test Kitchen is the absolute opposite of that. A delight for all the senses. I can’t recommend enough. Our friend V Carroll told us we had to go and she was right! Thanks for the wonderful night”
“Food was great! Soul food is deluxe, try it all. My friend said best chili he ever had. Generous portions, crispy not greasy, wonderful customer service, thanks Dubs!”
“So happy I visited this vineyard after tasting their wine. Heidi gave one of the most informative wine tours I've ever had. So much helpful information about their overall farming practices rooted in their rich history establishing Rhône wines in California. They produce so many top notch wine varieties.”

“Delicious and creative plant-based food combining great flavor with heart. I love the spicy Buffalo Chicken sandwich, the black bean taquitos, the Avalon burger with arugula and vegan Gouda cheese (!), and the avocado taco! Want to try everything on the menu! 5-stars for flavor, creativity, service, and location! Love Ziggy’s!!”
“Excellent wine tasting experience!

“One of the best Japanese restaurants in the USA that I have experienced. The rice was cooked to perfection. My mackerel entrée was grilled to perfection. Goshi could easily compete with the restaurants I have eaten iin during my travels in Japan. As the Michelin Green Guide would say, “Goshi is worth a detour… if not a voyage.”. My compliments and congratulations to the entire staff.”
“An umami pairing experience with LXV Wine and Bakersfield’s Noodle Bar. LXV owners and the chef from Noodle Bar matched the wines and meals perfectly👌🏼Pairings with LXV Wine is a must do experience!”

“Out of towner . Man what a town . You people rock over there . House was amazing . Football in the front bar and bands in the back . Something for everyone. People where heck chill and had good energy. Definitely would love to film here again . You rock paso robles community 💪💪💪🎥🎥🌎🌎🌎😍😍😍”
“One of my favorite places to hang out. The bartender and owners are always welcoming. The pool tables are well maintained and the beer is always cold. If you want a place to hang out and play pool without being bothered, this is the spot.”
“Friendly staff, a pup to greet you and reasonably priced for a flight. I’m a sweet cider fan and all they have is dry but the slushy (watermelon flavor) was fantastic! I’d personally like smaller tastes and more to taste than bigger tastes with fewer to select. More like 6-2 ounce than 4-3 ounce. Just my personal preference!”
“My first time going and it was absolutely delicious. I got the mixed grill platter. The chicken was some of the better chicken I’ve ever had. Excellent seasoning and nice and moist. I do not like sautéed zucchini in the slightest and whatever seasoning they put on the zucchini was awesome I ate every piece. My aunt got the roasted vegetable salad. She said it was so good she didn’t even use the dressing that came with it. Also have water and iced water right on the counter available to grab whenever you would like. They also have a full sauce/topping bar which is a nice plus. Would recommend to anybody there is something for everyone on the menu. Staff was very helpful.”
“We usually share our reviews on Tock or Cellarpass, but we wanted to note here how special Torrin is if you’re ever visiting the Paso area. We are always impressed by both the winemaker and his work, which is why we joined the club. We are big fans of Lagom, but we equally enjoy Banshee and Akasha. Aly is also one of the main reasons we look forward to each visit—she is truly a treasure. The wines speak for themselves, but it’s the welcoming and personable people at Torrin who truly win us over.”
“I buy all of my spices and teas here-everything is so delicious! And I always find extra gourmet goodies and gifts. They’re weekly salad specials are beautiful and healthy too!”

“I have to say this experience was beyond incredible. The wine, the food, the clear personal connection the guy had to what he is serving is worth reserving and going. It’s clear he puts so much time into choosing the wines and preparing the food. It’s a truly special experience and the best of any that we had in our trip to Paso. We were provided with detailed unpretentious explanations of the excellent wines and got one of the best meals we could have expected. It was rich and sweet and perfect.”
“11.16.25. What an exceptional winery experience. The staff were knowledgeable, welcoming, and clearly passionate about their craft. The wine cave tour was fascinating and beautifully presented, and the wines themselves were truly outstanding. We’re delighted to have joined and look forward to enjoying many years of remarkable wines from this first-class winery. Bravo!”
“First time coming here the other night . I have to say the service was top notched and our waiter was great . I had the lasagna it was delicious . My mother had the eggplant Parmesan and she said it was really good and my dad had the special something with sausage and that was really good as well . If you like Italian food you must come try them they are in tin city Paso .definitely will be back”
“This was an experience like no other. From the moment we were greeted and personally escorted in and introduced to the maitre’d, to the personal touches by staff and the chefs. The creative genius in the kitchen really connected us to a much bigger world as every little detail was sourced globally or grown by the chef.
An excellent experience worthy of your highest expectations.”
“Sixteen Years of Love & Legacy—A Toast to Us and to Nicora
Celebrating 16 years of Nicora Wines while honoring our own 16-year anniversary made this experience truly unforgettable. It was more than a tasting—it was a tribute to passion, partnership, and the beauty of things that age with grace.
Elissa was phenomenal. Her warmth, insight, and genuine hospitality turned each pour into a story, each moment into a memory. She didn’t just guide us through the wines—she celebrated with us, making our milestone feel seen and cherished.
✨ Standout Sips:
• Denner Vineyard Viognier 2022: A radiant opener—lush, floral, and beautifully balanced. Sunshine in a glass.
•Euphoric 2022: True to its name, this 100% Grenache was a revelation. Silky on the palate, emotionally resonant, and bursting with expressive depth—it delivered joy in every pour. A celebration captured in liquid form.
• GSM Blend 2022: Bold yet nuanced, with layers that linger. A masterclass in blending and depth.
• Slide Hill Vineyard 2022: My first taste—and wow. A vibrant, terroir-driven gem that left a lasting impression.
From the first pour to the final toast, Nicora’s legacy of craftsmanship and heart was on full display. And in the glow of our own 16-year journey, every glass felt like a love letter—to resilience, to connection, and to the joy of shared celebration.
Here’s to Nicora. Here’s to us. And here’s to many more vintages—and years—worth celebrating.”
“Just had an amazing experience at Eberle. Kirk, our tasting guide, possessed a wealth of knowledge about the vineyard and its history. He could not have been more entertaining, informative, and just generous with his time and tasting! Thoroughly enjoyed all the wines- all the reds have elegance and depth- but are less in your face than some California reds, but so smooth, lovely and enjoyable. We will be back!! In the day and age when everywhere is reservations only and super pricey, Eberle is a breath of fresh air- with years of quality to back up their stellar reputation.”
“I definitely recommend Vina Robles as a stop for any trip in Paso Robles. We came during the holiday weekend after Christmas with our two dogs. The staff was kind, our wine specialist was very knowledgeable and friendly. The atmosphere is lovely with small chill livingroom like spots. There was a DJ when we came, doing an excellent job of weaving together requests that added to the experience. We had a wonderful time!”
“I rode my motorcycle from Cincinnati, Ohio to the west coast of California looking for exhilaration. By pure chance or maybe fate, I crossed the mountainous range from PCH and was drawn into this oasis on the roadside that seemingly just appeared. I can’t express how fortunate I am to have made that stop at Lone Madrone. The atmosphere and setting was serene, the people were the finest of any, and the food provided a top off of experience. I recommend this place rather you intend to eat, taste wine, or spectate. However, the real treat is the people who work here. I don’t know how they got this amazing set of individuals. They were so hospitable and interested in my story, as I was interested in their incredible stories as well. To Amber, I anxiously await that getaway for you and would love to hear all about it. To Hana, not to be confused with Hannah, I love your name. I love your story. I love you. What an inspiration you are and the journey you’ve had. We both have our own horsepower lol. Thank you for sharing a piece of you with me. It was a light of beautiful hope and I will forever cherish it.”
“Great tasting experience with Stan. Exotic wines and incredible ports.”

“This place dont get enough credit. Everybody here is solid. I see them constantly cleaning mopping the main area. Shout out to night crew you guys get hammered at times but you guys pull through. Never had a missing item or mistake here. Foods always good. So management give your crew a pat on the back”
“As a longtime member, Sculpterra is always worth the trip. If you want views, art, entertainment, relaxed atmosphere and, most of all, great wines that are still affordable....Sculpterra is for you. Great as date destination.”

“My spouse and I visited Calcareous in mid-March for a Cabernet tasting that was out of this world. We tasted a variety of wines from different vintages that were all outstanding. Each was beautifully made and are a great value for their price point. Our host, Nate, explained the wine characteristics, production details, and winery history. He expertly answered endless questions about the local wine community and other wine trivia. The whole experience was just great.”
“We love working with DAOU Vineyards. Every experience has been exceptional, from the quality of the wines to the professionalism of their team. Their commitment to craftsmanship and hospitality makes each collaboration seamless and enjoyable. Partnering together on wine pairings at Hungry Hunter Steakhouse is always a pleasure, and we truly value the relationship.”
“Cute little winery! Staff is very friendly. Did two wine flights that paired AMAZINGLY WELL with the salmon! The salmon was by the far our favorite!! Seasoned so well, paired so well with wines and incredibly delicious!!!”
“This place is amazing sushi is super fresh the sushi chefs are great the atmosphere is super classy I can't say enough good things about this place if I could go there every day I would”

“We wanted a place in Paso Robles near the freeway that we could stop and have pizza on the way home from seeing Hearst Castle with our family. Well not only did we find a pizza place, we found a really good one and from the amount of business they where doing on a Wednesday evening I would say many people agree! It is locally owned and operated by friendly, helpful people who know how to make great food. Now if only they would open one in the Fresno/Clovis area.”
“It’s one of the best wine bars in San Luis Obispo county offering a wide array of domestic and international wines by the bottle or by the glass. I find the prices to be competitive and the bartenders very knowledgeable with their craft. I highly recommend this lace to anyone who wants to sample local Paso Robles and international wines. Don’t take my word for it, come and visit soon.”
“Great food at reasonable prices. Our group of 17 visited during Labor Day weekend after 1ish and we were seated promptly. Our server made great recommendations and our drinks were ice cold! Our entrees were hot, delicious and everyone was satisfied! We will be back!”
“We had such an amazing time at Alpha Omega’s tasting room in Paso Robles! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome, but what really stood out was our host, Justin. He guided us through a side-by-side tasting that wasn’t just about sipping wine, but about understanding it. He explained the differences across vineyard sites, walked us through the nuances in the wines, and made the whole experience both educational and enjoyable.
What made it unforgettable, though, was Justin himself—professional, charismatic, and genuinely engaging. He had that rare ability to make the wines shine even brighter with his knowledge and energy. And honestly, being very easy on the eyes didn’t hurt either—the wine somehow tasted even better! If you’re in Paso, Alpha Omega should definitely be on your list, and if Justin is your guide, you’re in for something truly special.”
“The guy that usually works in the evening drew he is a hard worker very friendly and has a great attitude. I highly recommend you promote him as a manager. He goes above and beyond for customers and great smile way to go, Andrew.”
“Great view, lots of wine options, and great staff. Thank you Cassie for answering our questions, and making our wine tasting experience fun!”
Cheap Eats
“If you want a good sandwich, Savage Spirits & Deli is the place to go. I went in there late after they closed the kitchen expressing my dismay that I could not find a good sandwich in Paso Robles. The young lady working behind the counter said as long as you don’t want it heated I’ll make you any sandwich you want. She proceeded to make me an Italian sandwich that I must say is one of the very best that I’ve ever had. Highly recommended!”
“Made a pit stop at Paso Robles, and I thought, some hot noodle soup sound good for a cold weather. I was kinda skeptic 🤨 thinking it’s a Thai restaurant and not Vietnamese. But it did not disappoint. The broth alone was tasty. A single serving can feed two. And I like how they served on the side, generous amount of basil, Mung bean sprouts, lime, and jalapeño (for added kick).”
“We took a wrong turn but something amazing happened. I was a bit peckish so we stopped to find a place to eat & found a true gem. Had a delicious late breakfast/lunch thanks to super staff (thank you Debbie) and oh, the food, the food was smashing! Gravy & biscuits, and chicken fried steak. Come in and eat. Just like an old Western movie (which was playing on the screen over our table) Cowgirl Cafe in Paso Robles off 13th Street is a trip back in time to when cowboys were young in the Old West. And #cowgirls? They're saddled up and running the town.”
“We stopped by based on a local's suggestion and are glad we did! The food was fantastic. Our two large pizzas and wings were delicious and hit the spot. This is clearly a great place for a casual pizza and drinks.
One piece of constructive feedback: the service upon arrival was lacking. We weren't greeted when we walked in, which made for a bit of a cold first impression.
That said, we really enjoyed the meal and would recommend it for the food alone!”
“Am a white wine drinker , but I loved all of the reds ! Am now a wine club member !”
“Beautiful view and wonderful complex wines. We have been members here for a few years, and even though the winery was sold the experience has not changed. Very nice”

“This is our first Winery Tour ever, and Austin Hope was the first winery of our day, so we didn't really know what to expect. Upon arrival, were warmly greeted with a glass of white wine, then escorted to a corner cabana with the backdrop of the vineyard! At first, I was a bit hesitant seating outside because it was March and this year has been unusually cold, but the hostess assured me that they had heat lamps and blankets. Sure enough, with the beautiful flame heat lamp and the soft warm blanket, we were comfortable and cozy, and settled into a wonderful experience. I forgot who was our server, but she was very knowledgeable about the wines, and also personable and caring. She make sure that we were comfortable, and our young daughter had sparkling water in her wine glass so she could (kind of) participate with us. I highly recommend their Charcuterie tray, which has a great assortment of wine, meats and nuts. I love how our server explained the wine at each pour, then leave us ample time to enjoy the glass and talk. She also brought us handwarmers to keep our hands warm. There were so many small caring touches that truly made our first winery tasting experience so wonderful. I'm not much of a wine person, but I ended up loving their wine too. After our tasting at Austin Hope, the other wineries just couldn't compare. Thank you very much for a first winery experience that I will never forget. I will definitely be back!”
“We've been coming here so often that they started remembering what we liked to order. The stout is good and not heavy so I can drink a whole pint and not be dizzy in the slightest. The cheese curds are awesome with the ranch sauce they make. I usually get the wagu burger and add bacon/avocado to the burger. They cook it medium rare and it melts in your mouth. The chicken strips are well seasoned. We love the tacos. The establishment has only been open for a short while and I really already like coming here. We usually get a couple krowlers to go of the stout which they can do with any of their beers on tap.”

“Fantastic modern new wave Mexican food, the flavors were delicious. We had the chips and salsa, the California burrito, and the taquitos, all of these were quite tasty and well portioned. We attempted to make a reservation online but it was lost, the hostess took mercy on our pitiful situation and still found us a table at lunch time. Service overall was excellent, staff were efficient and friendly. The interior decoration design was impeccable, there is also a full bar with a myriad of options. Prices were high but to be expected in SLO.”
“We just had Dinner after not going for a long time and we had the pizza and the bacon bleu burger but the best thing was Tyler he was an excellent waiter server. The dinner was great the atmosphere was great it was a good idea to go there much better than the first time when they first opened highly recommend you go back if you didn’t like it the first time. Thanks Tyler you were the best!!!”
“So lovely!! Sat outside with the doggos, and the waiter was very accommodating. The food was great, I got the blackened salmon and it came with veggies and potatoes. It was simple in a very positive way. Visiting from San Diego but if we pass through Paso Robles again then we will definitely be back!”
“Amazing cocktails. Wonderful staff and amazing atmosphere. Would advise to anyone looking for unique drinks with informative staff. Staff is always more than happy to share how and what is in the cocktails if you are like me a cocktail enthusiast. 5 out 5 from me.”

“I absolutely adore this coffee shop! Great location, wonderful atmosphere, run by talented people. It is evident that Mackay, one of the owners, paid great attention to detail and design as well. This has become my husband and I’s new coffee place. Five stars all around!”
“Amazing! Take a trip to Basque/Spain here ... moreso than anywhere I've found between SLO and SF. Pintxos, Jamón ibérico, and Gilda's! Great vibe and even better service! I sat at the bar and Sydney provided great recommendations! Eating here brought my mind back to my trip to Spain!”
