Always on the lookout for new grape friends & especially in Paso. The Levo folks have been on our radar for over a year & we FINALLY got the chance to do a proper sit-down midweek tasting last week. 100% across the board! Very chill & inviting location, thoroughly cool & approachable staff & EPIC wines! Don’t think I’ve signed up as a wine club member faster than with Levo & left with over a case of their goodies. Oh yeah, concrete “Egg” they use, straight outta the Terra Alta or Lyon!“

“We enjoyed our tasting at Ecluse very much. All the wines we tried were excellent. And the tasting room staff was fun and energetic. We loved the way they looked after us as a team. If our wine glasses were empty, someone always came by with the next pour. It was a pleasure to talk to all of them and just a wonderful experience. They also have a beautiful patio where you enjoy the view and a glass of wine. Ecluse is a hidden gem in Paso Robles and shouldn't be missed.“

“A great winery in a farm style setting! The wines were all very good especially the reds and the farm ambience really nice! The wonderful dogs really added to the ambience, they were great wine ambassadors for the winery lol! The wine tasting included a little charcuterie plate that was a really elegant touch! Beautiful scenery and there are plenty of picnic tables to enjoy the view while sampling great wine. Found this winery while driving around and this made for a real pleasant stop. Owners were very attentive and spent time telling their story about the winery. Well worth a stop while exploring wineries in Paso Robles.“
“We had a lovely stay at the Vineyard Farmhouse. It was very comfortable. The setting was very serene and the views of the vineyard and rolling hills were amazing. Our host was easy to reach and answered any questions we had very quickly. We highly recommend doing a wine tasting at the Pelletiere tasting room which is mere steps from the farmhouse. The wines were so wonderful we bought 6 bottles!“
“We had an outstanding tasting experience at Torrin, and Allie was an exemplary host. The personalized tasting menu was a wonderful touch, one we always appreciate when visiting wineries as it's a great indication that customer service is at the forefront of their operation in addition to wine quality. The wines and setting were second to none, and we had the opportunity to try a spectacular library pinot noir from 2015 that is coming home with us. We can't wait to try their Paso estate wines when they're available -- we will definitely be back!“

“We just stopped by Steinbeck on the way to Passo because they open early, and honestly it was the best choice we made.
Mike hosted us very warmly and their wine was beautiful! I loved their blend wine “the crash 19’ and 20’ and we really loved it and bought a bottle to bring home 🫶🏻 we will definitely coming back 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻“
“My wife and went to Volatus based on reviews and we are adding 5 star. Daniel our wine guide was fantastic. Great knowledge of wines and the Paso Robles area. We went on a Wednesday so we had the tasting room to ourselves. The red wines were full bodied and are drinking very well now, and will age nicely. Daniel explained we are in a slow period ( just a few days) as the wine festival had just passed and we are entering Memorial day weekend. The vibe and energy was excellent. Cheers to the owner and all he does.“

The family will stop by and meeting them is a treat. Shared favorite restaurants and all about their wine making process. Def must stop here when in Paso! Make it a must stop.“
“A highlight of our Anniversary trip. Our server, Melissa’s, friendliness, knowledge of the wines and the history of the winery made for a wonderful tasting experience. The wines were delicious. We will definitely come back. We even got a chance to meet the owner and wine maker who were also friendly and generous to chat with us for a bit, even though it was harvest time.“

“My hubby and I went earlier this year, even though we aren't wine drinkers. I chose Thacher Winery as a stop off for our scenic drive through Paso Robles beautiful wine country because of the vineyard history and the Barn. While there we were given a personal tour by Mrs Thacher even though we weren't there to drink or purchase wine.. The scenic setting of the wine tasting area was stunning, and we ended up tasting one of their wines!! We are now Thacher Wine drinkers!!! We highly recommend stopping by.“
“My spouse and I visited Calcareous in mid-March for a Cabernet tasting that was out of this world. We tasted a variety of wines from different vintages that were all outstanding. Each was beautifully made and are a great value for their price point. Our host, Nate, explained the wine characteristics, production details, and winery history. He expertly answered endless questions about the local wine community and other wine trivia. The whole experience was just great.“

“My choice for what to recommend for Turtle Rock from Facebook suggestions were things like picnics and ambiance etc. How about the MFing wine? We shipped a ton of wine back from our last trip to Paso and the one we keep going back to over and over is Turtle Rock. Drinking the G2 tonight with a petite filet and it’s just awesome. Comes out of the bottle like ink with leather and earth and like stewed cherry and plum. The more we drink the more we love TR.“

“This was truly a one-of-a-kind experience at a winery that is at the top of the game. Ryan, our guide and general manager, took us on an ATV tour of the vineyard that was educational and elegant without being pretentious. Tasting the wines amongst the vines it was harvested from was magical, to say nothing of our time in the manzanita grove. Our tour was complete with Sadie the dog tagging along for the ride!

“We had a great time here last weekend and our host, Leslie was amazing and very friendly. We tried both types of tastings and while everything was tasty, our favorites were the bourbon and the barrel aged vodka.
We just enjoyed our bourbon bottle this weekend and look forward to going back to grab a couple more.

“What’s not to love about Fratelli Perata? As soon as you drive up, you are transported to Italy, gazing upon miles of rolling hills of vineyards as you get out of your car. Walking in, classic Italian music plays softly as one of the Perata family members greets you. The tasting menu is unique for Paso, focusing mainly on Italian varietals - and what lovely expressions they are. You’ll learn about the Perata family history while sipping on yummy Barbera and Sangiovese. You’ll want (at least) one of every bottle before you leave, guaranteed. We can’t wait to come back!“

“Came to Paso for a girls weekend and did a tasting at Nicora. The wine was excellent. Sarah was the host for our tasting and she was terrific. She was very knowledgeable and shared great stories about the winery. She also gave us recommendations for restaurants and other spots to visit during our stay. I’d highly recommend checking it out.“

your favorite restaurant. Are server Kelly was great. I really loved the Grenache. The wine maker Amanda is crushing it. So many great wineries in Paso but this should be on your list.

“Outstanding! Found this winery because a friend does tasting tours and he sent out teams of reviewers to choose the 6 best wineries on the Paso Robles east side. This winery was the first choice for the best wine. This is the place to BUY wine. There is no winery in the area that produces a better product for the money. Their wines would sell for double at some of the bigger named wineries on the west side of Paso.“
“The prime winemaker, Bob Caparone, has turned the business over to his son, Mark, but the incredible flavor of the Merlot has not changed. I hope Mark and his wife stay true to the Caparone vision and continue to make incredible wine at affordable prices. Bob, my wife and I salute you!“
“I met with both owners; they were well-versed on their wine selections both white and red. I purchased several bottles including white and red. My favorite was Gemeny Vineyard Petite Syrah 2020: full body, low tannins. Rich nose and flavors.“
