“Gotta get seafood. It’s in the name of the business. I had one shrimp taco and one fish taco. Both proteins were fried and breaded with an ample amount of slaw on top. Really good flavors. I preferred the shrimp since the texture was nice and bouncy, but the fish was good too.

There is a small tented area with two four-top tables. Other than that, I guess you gotta take it to go.

The staff was incredibly nice. Great service. I can’t wait to try the rest of their menu. A great addition to the neighborhood. In a sea of great taquerias and taco trucks in Richmond, you need to stand out and Mi Casita does just that.

UPDATE: Went back for a shrimp burrito and it’s fantastic. The shrimp is sautéed in this flavorful sauce. It’s up there with La Bamba’s shrimp burrito for sure.“

“Excellent service, the guy behind the counter was super friendly and energetic. He clearly takes pride in the food he makes and serving the community. The lemon pepper wings were juicy and crispy and cooked just right. The seasoning was strong, bright, and tangy. Their ranch was incredible -- it's homemade and had the perfect ratio of buttermilk and herbs. Would highly recommend, food and service are both great and deserving of 5 stars.“

“MY NEW FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT. SOOOOO DELICIOUS AND FRESH. TACO TUESDAYS ESPECIALLY. The tacos are the street tacos but they are piled high and packed with ingredients a lot of meet a lot of really good salsa lot of good guacamole made fresh it was divine!

Vegetarian options: The only place I know that serves fish and chips with bass. So delicious. I also know that the chef makes a large batch of freshly made cocktail sauce. It smelled so good

“Does someone who has been in Berkeley for a long time this is one of like the places I feel is a spot that if you've been in the area this will be a place you're probably going to visit. But ultimately this is a spot where me and my family for like to come for some smoothies or small snack. My mom would rather go here then to a place like Jamba Juice because of just how good it is also the location is great it feels Homey the people are very personable. Especially if they remember you because if they remember you they'll know exactly what you want every time when they see you.

And ultimately the reason why I'm finally leaving a review is quite simply we came to their place right when they were about to start closing just wanting some smoothies and they were able to make us some and they got my mom's order just a little wrong because she didn't want something in her smoothie they went out of their way at their closing time to not only make her one smoothie because she said she wouldn't even be able to completely finish the customary one they're working but another just because she talked about possibly splitting it with my little sister. The people that work there deserve this good review and I hope that they keep thriving.

“**update** I'm glad I found this new place because my usual is closed for the 4th July holiday. The Pho broth is inconsistent now. Hit or miss. Currently they still offer the best Bun Bo Hue (spicy noodle beef soup) in town. I still need to try their banh mi!“

Have enjoyed chicken, salmon, beef, & vegetarian options as well as all the sides. Sandwiches & salads are delish. As is the mint lemonade & watermelon fresca. The place can be hopping or not, & the service is top notch & personable, professional. They do robust to-go orders & have spacious outdoor garden seating. Sure wish I’d discovered it sooner!“

The spice level customizations are carefully done - the mild offered no teary eyes and the medium had a kick to it. The Nepal ice beer was light and crisp. Portion sizes were huge and we had leftovers over 1-2 more meals. If you'd like to avoid leftovers and are moderately hungry, share a fried rice and an entree to pair it with. We ordered 1 lb of crawfish, shrimp Po Boy, 1 lb of Build your own Combo, etc. The Po Boy my son said was very good, I like the garlic noodle, and the crawfish and the sauce was not bad at all.
