“Yes, you will need a reservation, but they were kind enough to reserve a special table for us to honor our 10th anniversary! We were greeted with smiles and staff was quick to offer either still or sparkling water [nice]. Our water pourer, Maddie, was ahead of our thirst all evening and our glasses never were empty [we went through three bottles!]. Our server, Haley, was attentive and professional. She very capably poured the Justin Isosceles and went over the menu to answer any questions. My tuna tataki was exceptional...it may be an appetizer, but it was incredibly tasty and filling. The lady thoroughly enjoyed her local sablefish [first time] and its yummy accompaniments. The wine list is strong and reasonably priced. Beautiful views of Pismo Beach enhance the dining experience. The restaurant is on point, clean top notch restrooms and obvious elegance. We couldn't believe there wasn't any dress code...folks showed up looking like they just walked off the beach without a wink. Ahh...the beach life in Pismo is quite relaxing.“

“Overall it was fine. Not the best Mediterranean I’ve had, chicken shawarma is my favorite food so I’ve had a lot! Perhaps just a different kind of flavor than I typically like. My husband had the gyro meat and it was good. The plates were $$$ for a carryout gas station restaurant, running $20-$25 per meal, but large portion sizes with leftovers. The salad was over dressed. Hummus was great. Small side of rice for $5 was huge and loved by my 3 year old. Not sure I would come back but it worked for our family tonight. Definitely call and order ahead, waiting in the liquor store was less than ideal with two small kids.“

“this is my happy place! staff always go above and beyond to make our stays great. they are friendly and i love how every time you walk thru the lobby they greet you with good morning...welcome back ..etc. the restaurant is absolutely to die for. the rooms are amazing and the views breathtaking. we visit at least twice a year and always celebrate our anniversary here ! “Seated immediately, friendly and skilled waitstaff; she knew the menu and gave good input. Food was exactly as ordered and burgers were excellent. DH got the seasonal Oktoberfest and I got Marilyn. Sides were handmade onion rings with several sauces, all homemade. The housemate coleslaw was also excellent. We are excited to go back because the milkshake menu looks fantastic. The waiters was also sweet about giving advice on local happenings and things to do, it’s clear she enjoys her work! They also have as full bar with a nice draft beer selection but we didn’t partake as it was 12 am. Walking distance to the pier!“

“We are from the Bay Area, but Zorro’s is probably my top restaurant for Mexican food among all we frequent. Tastes are exquisite. A very large selection. Staff is friendly and efficient. I wish we could go there each week, but alas, we would have to travel 200 miles to do so. You will not regret this. Enjoy and savor the experience.“

“The best Chinese restaurant in slo county. The food is always tasty. Lunch and Dinner combos are great and the Chef Specials are excellent. The egg foo young is a crispy patty smothered in a gravy sauce, the lo mein always hits the spot, Ma la Three flavors is a combo of beef, chicken, shrimp with veggies in a tasty sauce is always a hit. The service is outstanding, the place can be packed, with 1 server and they are so organized and fast with bringing out your food. My favorite restaurant, hands down.“

“Sushi Kokku in Pismo Beach is hands-down our family’s favorite spot. We come here every week! The sushi is always fresh and high quality, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the prices are very reasonable. It’s rare to find a place that makes everyone happy, but Sushi Kokku does just that.“

“My mom and I had been driving all day and pulled into Hoagies about 2 minutes before closing time. We asked CJ and Taylor if it would be possible to still order some food. They said they were happy to do so! Then we told them they we both have celiac disease and asked if they could give us something gluten free. They both went out of their way to read labels for us and even asked if we would like to have corn tortilla strips on our salads instead of croutons (which are not gluten free). “I got two filet tacos and my boyfriend had the OG beef hotdog with fries. The tacos had a lot of flavor and I was full after the two because the portions are large. The fries I have to say are the best fries I’ve ever had. Spicy and crisp.“

“We've been coming here for 40 years and it's always been a favorite spot for fish and chips and tri tip! The atmosphere is wonderful (patio), and it's the first place that we go for food when visiting the central coast! An absolute must!“
