“Great white is an amazing place. I’ve been there for dinner and lunch. The breakfast burrito is my favorite in all of LA but the dinner experience, the atmosphere is very fun it’s the perfect spot for casual family friendly dinner where the food is amazing The burger was delicious and so are the fish tacos. finally, the banana bread for dessert was so tasty.“

“This place just feels like a warm hug. The interior is filled with lush plants, mismatched vintage furniture, and a very welcoming atmosphere. I tried their signature lavender honey latte and it wasn't overly sweet, just right. The baristas are super friendly and remember the regulars. It's the perfect spot to curl up with a good book on a rainy afternoon“

“Nice vibes, convenient location with easy parking, beautiful decor. Service was lacking, but understand there is a labor shortage right now, perhaps that's to blame here. Bodega sando was perfection! Pastries were alright...most looked better than they tasted. I'd say they were good but not great.“

“Busy on the weekends and mornings so recommend coming here on a weekday. We came here during Wednesday for dinner and did not have to wait. They were out of the chicken rice but had everything else. You order at the front and then get a seat. They don’t do reservations so best to come with a small group of 2-3. Highlights on the menu for us we’re the French Toast and Pork Belly Rice. The French Toast was sweet with a crispy outside and fluffy inside. Overall, great place with good prices and would come back!“

Authentic and delicious Oaxacan food/drink (you literally cannot go wrong with anything on the menu) and the most wonderful and warm staff you’ll find in all of West LA. “The sweet and Saby’s burrito was good - like a 7.6/10. It was hot but lacked texture. Need to griddle the outside.

Unfortunately, we ordered in the restaurant at 9:30 and had to wait over an hour for our burritos. It was absolutely chaos inside with DoorDash and uberEats people yelling about their orders every second. They need to dedicate a specific area outside to to-go orders.

Had high expectations. Was just fine.“

“I've been to Toastique multiple times at this point, and I will definitely be returning! Everyone there is so welcoming and kind! Even the look and feel of the restaurant are so inviting that I want to keep going back. I've gotten a smoothie (that I've forgotten the name of, but it was good!) and the Cure Juice which were both very tasty and I'd highly recommend checking it out!“

“Stopped in for a coffee. Was intrigued by the menu so I had the breakfast sandwich. Included eggs, cheese, bacon, tomatoes, and mayo. Great flavour with a some refreshing greens on the side. Was a good portion for breakfast. Coffee (house-drip) was tasty too.“

“The self care breakfast was perfect if you enjoy the Mediterranean style breakfast. What makes a big difference is just the quality of the ingredients. The feta, olives, eggs, the olive oil. So good. It was taking a little while to get our food, and they so kindly just brought us a piece of cake which also was delicious! Would definitely be a regular customer here.“

“This was absolutely amazing. I stumbled on it one day from work looking for lunch and I was so pleased to find it! The crepes are amazing. So clean and the food was perfect. The icing on the cake was the amazing coffee I came and had the next morning. I reccomend this to anyone looking for a good savory or sweet option day and night.“

“The breakfast / brunch menu has a good concept and good options. The merguez sandwich was good, but too oily. The fries were done well but too salty.

I wish they cooked the food with less oil and salt. Maybe I'll request that if I stop by to eat there again.“

“My wife and I went to the Grove in Los Angeles last night and we had dinner at "Sogno Toscana," an it was outstanding. It was perfect in every way; great food, great drinks, outstanding and friendly staff, beautiful location, etc. I love Italian food but I can't think of one Italian restaurant that I like, until "Sogno Toscano." The food was outstanding, and there was so much more we saw go by that we can't wait to go back and try. And the drinks were outstanding. I love martini's and they served the best martini I've ever had. Giacomo was our server and took great care of us. He's from Italy and "Sogno Toscana" brought him to America when they opened their New York restaurant, and now he's in LA for this new restaurant. Although very busy, the entire staff were very fun to be around, and most of them are Italian which is also great.“

The coffee is basically free if you think of your donation as more of a rental fee to be in this lovely communal space and have access to all that it offers. This place is ideal for making plans with business partners, writing scripts with friends, or just getting together for some time away from screens and computers. This place is tailored toward bringing diverse people together into one place to sharing ideas and stories with each other. As for the coffee and baristas both are fantastic. Cappuccino rocked me off my behind all day cuz I'm used to watered down crappuccinos from Starbucks. I love this place. This is where I bring friends that love good coffee and a peaceful conversation.“

“THIS PLACE RULES. A secluded and tucked café with coffee and food in Hollywood. It’s on a closed lot, but there are signs pointing to the parking lot to find the café. You do not have to work here to come to Dukes. I usually come here when I get my car wash or get my car worked on while I wait. They have reach in cooler for RTD drinks, super dank, massive burgers, but I always opt for their sandwiches because they’re on point. Everyone that works here is super cool, down to earth and professional. If you want hot sauce, they’ll let you select from a secret arsenal. Love this place.“

“Stumbled on this place by myself! The owners were so sweet and attentive. Feels very cozy and clean. A great place to post up for work.

“We visited LA for 5 days, and mostly all the lattes were disappointing. On the last day we found Rabbit’s coffee and he crushed it. Great guy, genuinely happy that you are there to get coffee. And he sends you off with excellent coffee. I even learned a few things about how to make my lattes at home even better. Skip everything else, go to rabbits coffee!“

“This location for goodboybob has been a favorite of my wife and I since we moved to the south bay. Its convenient location adjacent to the public library and a block up from the beach makes it a frequent pit stop or starting point for us. The coffees are always delicious and the pastries are solid. Though the pastries can run a little pricey it is consistent with the surrounding market. I specifically am writing this review to highlight though the excellent service. Today one of the baristas (I believe his name was Saul??) generously and pleasantly explained the different beans when he noticed I was checking some of the bags and he spent the time to explain to be the different beans, the variations in roasting process that differentiate some of them, his favorites, and went as far to provide me a fresh hot sample of some that we were discussing. At the end of it I left with just the latte I came in for(which was exceptional as always), but I also left with greater appreciation for the coffee I was enjoying and a good idea of what I can look for and enjoy in my coffee.“

“Did you know the LGBT Center has a cafe? Liberation Coffee House is all about community. The walls are lined with black-and-white vintage photography from past activism, and every dollar you spend goes straight into life-saving programs for the LGBT community. I know I sound like their marketing manager, but I’m so happy to have a queer space that isn't a bar. The overnight oats taste like a coconut rainbow in your mouth and the coffee is great too!“

Absolutely worth the wait, but I do have to give 4/5 stars for service and atmosphere simply because I feel as though if they put slightly more effort into the customer experience side of things, this place could be a chain with a cult following. Everything else that they're doing is right, but the line to get it (although justified) could be made a more pleasant experience just by hiring a simple greeter to stand outside, talk to guests, and keep the line moving along steadily.“

“Churro Calientes is fantastic! I’ve been here many times, and it never disappoints. The churros are always fresh, delicious, and perfectly made. The churros con chocolate are absolutely amazing and a must-try.
Sandro, the owner, is incredibly personable, friendly, and funny, which makes every visit even more enjoyable. The service is always excellent, and you can tell they genuinely care about their customers.

“I’ve been here a number of times because I love it! The service is excellent. The food is delicious. I often have the bagel and lox and cream cheese, or the miso salmon bowl if it’s more for lunch. Best quality lox I’ve ever had, and I’m from BC. Large bagels and tons of red onions, capers & tomatoes. Generous portions, the salmon also. My table has had salads and pancakes and tuna melts. Lama Lo gets it right. Great, hot foamy lattes. Also a great buzz to the place - lively and no one hurries you, you can stay for ages. I’m a huge fan.“

“Fabulous hyper-farm-to-table food by a creative chef, on Main St in Santa Monica. I’ve tried the Gazpacho, the many Danish Rye toasts with what is fresh that day: eggs, salmon roe, avocado or ....? They also have baristas that make all type of drinks. My fab place to indulge healthy and fresh“

“Not close to my first time getting coffee here, I've also come for various events, but its my first time leaving a review, because I couldn't not do so for this. Ordered it from home on their app as I head out for work yesterday, get there, head straight to the counter, it's not there. All good, I'm only 5 mins away, I see it's already packed in here this early in the AM, so it's just not ready yet. I sit to wait... tick, tick, tick, time goes past, commute out there's getting worse, time to clock in's getting closer, where's my coffee? One of the baristas calls me up to the counter and she's like: What'd you get? I tell her and she says I don't have a ticket for that. I tell her, No I ordered it on the app. I go to look, and Dang, still unpaid in my cart. Line at the counter's long so I reorder on the app right there on the spot, go sit back down. Tick, tick, tick... tick, tick, tick... Girl calls me back up to the counter: I still don't see your order... No, you saw me order it. Pull it up on my app and Fuuu, I ordered it for Hill St in DTLA, this is Slauson. I look up and she says: Don't worry about it, you don't have to drive all the way over there, I gotchu. I dropped $5 bucks in their glass tip jar on my way out. Ain't no way Starbux up the road would've done that. I wish I'd gotten her name, but if you're reading this, you have no idea how much you made my morning yesterday. Thank youuu! And that OBL was so good.“

“Excellent food and service! Absolutely perfect breakfast. Hot, delicious, HUGE portions. The best chai tea latte I've ever had it - it puts Starbucks to shame. The meal was esthetically a work of art (see photo). The menu said two eggs, but it looked like five. Great French toast - better than I can make myself. Needless to say, I highly recommend Joey's Cafe!“
