“My wife and I went to the Grove in Los Angeles last night and we had dinner at "Sogno Toscana," an it was outstanding. It was perfect in every way; great food, great drinks, outstanding and friendly staff, beautiful location, etc. I love Italian food but I can't think of one Italian restaurant that I like, until "Sogno Toscano." The food was outstanding, and there was so much more we saw go by that we can't wait to go back and try. And the drinks were outstanding. I love martini's and they served the best martini I've ever had. Giacomo was our server and took great care of us. He's from Italy and "Sogno Toscana" brought him to America when they opened their New York restaurant, and now he's in LA for this new restaurant. Although very busy, the entire staff were very fun to be around, and most of them are Italian which is also great.“

“I don’t remember having pasta this good since I visited Italy back in 2014. I ordered the Tagliatelle, I loved how the noodles were so thin and the beef/sauce was just the right balance. The sfincione in bianco (focaccia) was amazing, reminded me of the one in Felix. Next time I’ll have to get a side of ricotta as a dip. For dessert, ended up getting the Tartino al Cioccolato - the textures were incredible and now is my all time favorite dessert. In my opinion, this is the best Italian restaurant in all of LA. Chef Funke really knows what he is doing. Can’t wait to go back and try more dishes!“

“Angelini Osteria totally lived up to the hype! We had a great dinner there that night and I can't wait to go back again soon. Let's start with the star of this show: uni pasta. Oh my gosh, it was divine! The uni was so fresh and creamy and the pasta itself was cooked just right. Every bite was an explosion of flavor. We also tried the baked lasagna and it was delightful. The layers were perfectly balanced and each bite was full of rich, savory flavors. Let's not forget dessert! We shared a few different things and they were all great. The tiramisu was fluffy and decadent and the chocolate mousse was rich and smooth. Overall, Angelini Osteria is definitely a must-try for Italian food lovers in Los Angeles. “Went to Chloe’s birthday party this past weekend and it was my first time trying Sogno Toscano’s food.

The catering was impressive. Everything looked so beautiful… and the flavor of the sandwiches was incredible…

That said, I do wish the menu felt a little more distinct from his other restaurants. It’s definitely in line with his signature style, so if you’ve been to his other spots, you’ll find a lot of overlap.

The quality and service are definitely there—the staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere is cozy but lively, with a great energy for date night or a special dinner with friends. Overall, Felix is absolutely worth a visit.“

“We live in Laguna and were up in Westwood for an art exhibition. We were referred to Ospi Brentwood by a friend. Upon arrival, we found the atmosphere alive and energetic, replete with college grads and their families and couples out for a nice evening. The mozzarella was phenomenal and the tagliatelli delicious.

The star of the play however was our waiter, Christian. He has this electrifying personality that is engaging, warm, really fun. He saw to our every need and was detailed oriented, which we love. The surprise of the evening was when Christian brought a newly frosted martini glass, unprompted. I've ordered martinis a million times, all over the world and never has anyone cared that much, or thought of the detail.

Christian is a true professional that has that balance to keep things light, fun, and all business.“

“I took my daughter and we had a really nice dinner. We started with the Caesar - it's not a creamy Caesar dressing, more like a vinaigrette. It was tasty. My daughter ordered the vodka pasta with chicken and she loved it. Just a little bit is spice and great flavor. I ordered a pepperoni pizza. It's not paper thin but it's not thick either. The pepperoni on it was delicious. It was a bit noisy because there were lots of kids as it is sort of a neighborhood spot. As it got later in the evening the kids left and it was quieter for sure. overall great food and service. Will go back.“

“Had a wonderful time trying this place for the first time today for my sisters birthday . One can taste that the ingredients were fresh and quality . The pasta dishes were Al dente and homemade 🥰 loved the Italian salad , fried crunchy chicken cutlets and the dessert (bread pudding) was so delicious ! Every server was delightful and it was kid friendly !. (But no changing station :( ). The portions are not as big ,however , the authenticity made up for it . Go try this place now !“

“I’m new to this not true to this lol. I never had Mortadella and it being pork scared me. I still ordered the La Paradiso (Mortadella, Stracciatella, Pistachio Cream, & Pistachio crumbles) bc WTH right? And I enjoyed it. It’s not like OMG but it feels really nice and comforting to eat. I’m glad I left it alone and didn’t substitute for Turkey! I would definitely buy again. The pistachio cream is very light but flavorful along with nuttiness and I never had such combination with a savory bread.

I know I’m going to be thinking about it for days. It leaves a nice after taste lol! It is $20 but it’s a big sandwich. I think it’s worth the price. Quality ingredients!“

Tristan and Rodrigo were both attentive, kind, and knowledgeable of the menu. We got the meatball, chicken parm, broccolini, asparagus and garlic bread. “All of the food was incredible! However tables were insanely tight but maybe that was just on NYE. We had to literally get up out of chairs to let other people in and out of their tables. When we mentioned it to our server she said “what do you expect with 160 reservations”.. which was awkward. That said, she warmed up throughout the night and you could tell she was just insanely stressed. There was a gentleman who was incredibly helpful wizzing around and welcoming everyone. Overall we'll be back since the food was so good and hopefully we'll see it less sardines-packed“

Initially, we went to Met Her At A Bar, the brunch spot. 25-minute wait there, but the hostess was gracious enough to tell us about their brother property that has a lot of their breakfast favorites. Greeted by the cute and stylish hostess, Campbell, we entered a fresh and tastefully decorated atmosphere. The lemons trees and cute light fixtures made me feel so LA. The food matched the vibes with a cute presentation and was delicious. I had the chicken and waffles and classic mimosas, and my daughter had the Mama's omelet with potatoes. Come and enjoy! First off, let's talk about so the service: the host was SUPER kind and sat us at a table that was more accessible for the older ladies. The ambience is lively so please don't come and expect a quiet meal. Our server was VERY attentive and took care of us throughout our meal. We brought a bottle of wine, the corkage fee is super reasonable, and then ordered a bottle for the table before the meals arrived. I ordered the pork chop and it came with potatoes (the potatoes tasted like the ones my dad would make me as a kid (insert happy tear emoji)). We had such a great time and were well taken care of, which is hard to experience in this hustle and bustle era.
