“I absolutely love Tocaya Orgánica Playa Vista. The food is consistently fresh and incredibly tasty, and the tortilla soup is hands down my favorite. It is comforting, flavorful, and always hits the spot. Their plant-based tacos are also fantastic, especially the Taco Dorado, which is a total steal on Taco Tuesday.

Every employee I’ve interacted with has been friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu, which makes the experience even better. Parking is easy, and the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, making it a great place to enjoy a meal any day of the week. Highly recommend if you’re looking for delicious food and great service.“

“As a family with a celiac, this place is a godsend. The food pairs so well with their wine selection. The owner is a Som and knows her stuff. Bummer that their bakery had to close due to the terrible economy, but they still have a small selection. The biscuits are pretty insane! A+“

As soon as we parked the smell of the outdoor grill hit us. We knew we were in for something special.

We were sat immediately with a reservation, and had the best service. Mike was our waiter and was everything you want in a server and more. He was present but not overly so, he knew his wines well, and was clearly very passionate about the food. He’s service absolutely made our night!

The food was the only thing that overshadowed Mike’s excellence, every bite was divine.

We shared the hummus toast, zucchini, Japanese, sweet potato, Shishito peppers. And for mains enjoyed a chicken skewer, lamb chops, and ribeye.

The lamb was seasoned and cooked perfectly, being my best bite of the night, but the chicken skewer won the hearts of the larger group.

We finished off with their chocolate cake which was perfectly gooey in the center.

There is so much more I would come back for. The atmosphere was just spectacular! Beautiful outdoor seating area, suitable for larger groups or small tables. Good music and great vibes.

All in all I’m just upset that I didn’t come try this place sooner. Definitely going to be a staple of mine moving forward.

“This is my go-to spot with my cousin and some girlfriends. We usually get the mushroom pizza and the garlic bread knot. The drinks are always great (we alternate between their cocktails and the wines). We especially love the outdoor patio area—the ambiance is nice and relaxed. It's a spot that we will definitely come back to again and again.“

The food was fresh and exactly the type of asian rice bowl taste I expected with moist soft rice and lightly sauced grilled chicken; not greasy at all. The cash register employee and cook were both extremely nice and explained everything on the menu in detail and with good etiquette.“

“Last time I went I had the fior de latte, pistachio, hazelnut flavors which are absolutely amazing. They have so many interesting seasonal flavors like tiramisu, peach, truffle, and even rhubarb. Its amazing the amount of international presence in the ice cream. All natural ingredients, nothing artificial, everything tastes so organic, smooth, and exactly like the base flavor. And the owners are so charming and hard working. However, it is VERY expensive for ice cream, id go back everyday if 3 scoops and waffle cone wasnt almost 20 bucks. I understand it is because everything is to the highest standard and super amazing quality, unfortunately the price is just very high. So all in all, amazing treat, amazing place, with high price tag.“

“Such a cute little space with a great ethical commitment and excellent food! I brought my partner here to grab a quick lunch to go. We each got a banh mi (I got the lemongrass chicken, no mayo, and they got the pork) and a sparkling limeade. The person who took our order was super friendly and the food came out fast. We were both impressed by just how big the sandwiches were and how much protein was on them! And the limeade was incredible - just slightly sparkling with a hint of saltiness.“

I do have to say, though that I like this location far better than the one on Abbott Kinney because they have more choices for me. “Never had a bad cookie here. I love how creative and simple their offerings are each month. For a small bake shop everything is crafted with love, from the decor of the shop, to the packaging, down to the fresh ingredients in each cookie. The Cheeto cookie got me hooked and I'll keep comitback for more!“

This location is located in the Culver City Cuisine pick up area and I order from restaurants here all the time and had no idea moon bowls was located there as well. So good and healthy! “Excellent place for all bakery products. This always a queue, soliciting the lovely Brazil. I loved the big Sangki bread and the Banana Bread. The hummus and yoghurt dip, what's awesome? It's her secret recipe for over the years. I heard conversations where the third generation had come to buy from the bakery. “We were there on Valentine Day for their prix fixe menu. There were items on that menu that were excellent choices and we did not feel limited at all. The food was excellent and paced just right. They also had one of our favorite wines, a Vouvray which is very rare to find on a restaurant. The service was spot on and very accommodating. Our evening was wonderful and we will be returning to try their regular menu!“
