“We really enjoyed ourselves at Rudy's Hideaway. Food was delicious! We shared an appetizer, fried calamari. For our entrée: *8oz lobster tail, baked potato and green beans *Surf and Turf, which included prime rib, king crab leg, baked potato and green beans. We ended our meal having cheesecake with raspberry sauce and creme brulee. Our sever was attentive and polite. He went above and beyond to make our experience a pleasure. The atmosphere was inviting and relaxing. We will definitely be back...highly recommend!“

“Really good food possibly some of the best fish and chips I have had in the area staff are friendly and nice and gave us extra fish. however the inside is a bit dusty on the top of some thing may need a bit of a face lift but in terms of the overall inside of the building it has a really cool feel of a type of resturaunt you would find next to the ocean or beach.“

From the house made sauce fried chicken wings (kids enjoyed), to the ca canh chua, mango salad was refreshingly good, and the morning glory was very nice. Didn't try the pho, but kids and bro enjoyed. Bro said the banh xeo was a little hard. It just took a REALLY long time for them to prepare the food--one cook that day maybe? “This place is a hidden gem! I’ve never ordered a wrong thing here —all of the ingredients are fresh and prepared with care. When you order a chef’s choice selection, they will sometimes include real wasabi (along with the regular paste wasabi that is more common at restaurants). The look of the restaurant, as well as the visual presentation of the dishes, are very pretty and photo-worthy. The A5 Miyazaki Wagyu is phenomenal. The paper hotpot was a unique and imaginative experience —no single bite was ever the same, but constantly evolving. Sometimes we want to just have a simple meal to feed ourself, and other times we are lucky enough to have a delicious meal and take part in a creative process. If you enjoy food and art then give this place a try.“

“Gift card scam. Mikunis implemented a new protocol in 2022. Any gift cards that were purchased before a certain (unknown) date, and now utilized, will be zeroed out. Back story: I attempted to use a gift card today (April 2023) and was informed it had a zero balance. The server kept my card. I had a gut feeling, asked for the card back. I spoke to the manager about how I could have a zero balance when I had never used it. The manager informed me that corporate zeroed out all gift cards that weren’t used. In order for me to get my money on the gift card, I have to call corporate headquarters and “request” an inquiry; which I did to no avail. It’s not about “expired” gift cards. It’s about not informing consumers ahead of a new rule that gift cards be zeroed out before a certain date. I’ve used 10 year old gift cards at other restaurants without any problem. Biggest scam ever.“

Marcus and Elliot were assisting us that night. They did an excellent job! We started with a smoked old fashion cocktail. Perfection! We enjoyed our meal very much. Loved the mushrooms and asparagus sides. My filet was cooked to perfection; I recommend the truffle crust on top as it paired perfectly with the filet. My friends ordered the risotto with scallops and seabass. It was the perfect amount for the three of us. Can't wait to return!“

“This is the ONLY Mexican food restaurant in the area that matters. It is the closest to ✨authentic✨ in the area… (I’m in Roseville closer to the granite bay side.) The Flautas are usually my go to at any Mexican place and the ones here are perfection. Even the beans and rice are good. Tortas, are bomb. The asada is good, too. But my favorite thing to get here are the breakfast burritos. I will try more to add on to this review but after moving here early 2023, this is the only Mexican place I go to that is worth a damn.“
