NG Sub- overall classic sandwiches vibes, could use some seasoning- no need for cucumbers without a bit of salt.

Monster Special was probably my favorite and the most flavorful.

Potato salad- I don’t think the person who came up with this recipe loves potato salad. It could use some love.

“If there’s one place known for Vietnamese coffee, it’s this one. That sweet, creamy, ice-cold brew will keep you wired longer than any energy drink. It’s strong, but in the best way. Don’t even bother asking for less ice because the drink is meant to be diluted. Without it, the coffee is way too concentrated (even their bottled version at Costco says to mix it with ice or water!).

As for the food, their banh mi are always solid. Fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Prices have crept up over the years, but that’s pretty much everywhere now. Still worth the visit.“

We stopped in today at this Torrance location, and I can say that the flavors are just as good as all the others, and it really brings back a lot of memories every single time I eat one of these sandwiches. There is also a ton of free parking right in front and they do have a small bar inside where you can sit and drink and eat as well. They also have indoor tables as well. “I was in yesterday Carson store 9/13 for lunch for a sandwich, never been there before. Asked the cute server if she could make a philly cheesesteak for me. She said she could try to do her best, well she did!! Man That sandwich was tasty!! I got a giant one, ate half, was stuffed liked crazy. Had to bring the other half home, set it on the kitchen counter and left it there. Forgot about it and saw it this morning when I was making my coffee and I thought for sure it was no good, all soggy and stuff. But nope, opened it up it was a little soggy but I said what the hell, took a bite and OMG what a tasty bite that was first thing in the morning!!! Needless to say I will be going back for another tasty philly cheesesteak from her next weekend. I should have gotten her name.“

The Baseline: For a sandwich place, the sandwiches must have fresh, quality ingredients, it must efficiently make my sandwich, additional sides must be available, and there should be unique offerings.

Food: Jimmy John’s is a sandwich chain that has several standards offerings. The bread for sandwiches is of good quality, the meats are good, and the Jimmy Peppers are the unique add on. They have potato salad, pesto pasta, chips, and cookies for extras. Sodas are available for drinks at a self serve drink fountain.

Service: Service is good and I got my birthday side when I came in. No problems with the staff.

Ambience: This is a sandwich shop in a shopping plaza. The shop was clean and the bathrooms were clean enough.“
