“This spot has been great since I was a kid funny enough to say. Ignore the bad reviews cause this a place you can pull up to get a low cost high quality meal. They have always been super friendly and provide the best quality of food. I stopped by this morning to see a friendly face, Olga, working even on Christmas. Shout to her cause I can tell she’s been holding down the place for years. Give her a raise and all the bonuses she deserves it!!!“

“Those of you who know me aren’t surprised I ended up here. This place looks sketchy and the ac isn’t enough to cool the covered patio.
I have passed by this place many times and yes I was a little hot while I ate but honestly the food was great!
I had chicken and steak skewers over rice with a small green salad.
The skewers were tender and very flavorful. The rice was perfectly steamed and the salad was lightly dressed like Cole slaw.
This is not some place you want to go if you're not into hole in the wall spots. This place is perfectly suited for people like me who value flavor over frills.“

“Masa-san serves chef's choice, and the food is fresh and delicious. Eating here is an extremely delightful experience. The sweet shrimp with eggs is one of my favorites. Always finish your meal with at least 1 (maybe 2 or ...) of his blue crab rolls. The crab is carefully hand-pulled, the rice is warm, and the seaweed is crisp. You won't find that combination of quality and easy dining experience anywhere else in the Valley. Please try it!“

Every dish we tried was incredible, we started with appetizers the crispy rice with tuna was cooked to perfection as well as the cucumber and avocado salad, which was delicious and flavorful.
Some of my FAVORITES included the yellowtail and jalepenos which i would highlyyy recommend. The Jessica Roll was absolutely to die for and melted in your mouth. We had a few other rolls including the lemon roll and fantasy roll while also grabbing the salmon and yellowtail belly.
Everything was super fresh and flavorful. I would highly recommend stopping by here whether it be with friends to catch up or your significant other for a date.“

“I ordered miso soup, gyoza, tempura ice cream, and edamame. The miso soup was perfect; it was well-balanced and tasty. The gyoza was decent, but the portion of sauce provided for the two gyoza was quite small and could have been better. The only item I didn’t like was the tempura ice cream. Since it was a delivery order, the tempura was soggy, and the ice cream had melted. Additionally, the flavor of the green ice cream was unclear and not enjoyable. I believe it would have been better if they used higher-quality ice cream for the tempura. Overall, the order was good, but I wish I could have also ordered sushi rolls. However, since I am pregnant, I wanted to avoid any risks.“

I moved away from the area and havent been back in over ten years, but it was one of the gems I was looking forward to visiting, if it was still standing. To my absolute delight, the Teriyaki Masudaya is still standing! I had the pleasure of stopping by last week to eat my favorite there, their house plate with beef, chicken, and prawn alongside a salad with their signature dressing.. and I was so happy to find that the recipes have been passed down from the original owners, tastes just as good as I remember. This restaurant has the layout, and feel of Japanese restaurants from days gone by. However, at the same time, it's very modern and stylish.

I entered with my Mom, and we were immediately greeted and seated. Our server was very friendly and had a great personality. It turns out he was very knowledgeable as well. I ordered the Salmon Shioyaki Entree, and Mom ordered the Miso Marinated Black Cod Entree. The Entrees come with Soup & Salad. The salad was subtly flavorful. With the greens, vegetables, crunchy topping, and dressing combining to create a delicious starting salad. The Miso Soup was very flavorful, and well balanced. They were both wonderful ways to start a meal. My Salmon Shioyaki was incredible. The Shio (Salt), enhances the natural flavor of the Salmon, and helps in browning, and creating crispy tasty salmon skin. The flesh was firm, yet tender and flaky. Just a squeeze of lemon, and it was perfection exemplified. The accompaniments, and rice, along with the delicious mixed Vegetables made it a complete meal. I had a taste of the Miso Black Cod. The glazed Miso flavor was undeniable, as the Black Cod melted in my mouth, ending in deliciousness.

A Japanese meal embodies that the sum of all parts, equals the whole. The Entrees here are examples of that philosophy.

The prices here are well worth it, considering what you get. The whole staff here is very friendly. Our server helped make our dining experience fantastic. We hope to see him again. We will be back,“
