“The food in the restaurant is wonderful. They could use more help when busy as we often can’t get more refills or drinks since the waiters have a lot of tables. We tried DoorDash three times and the food was bad. They didn’t include tortillas with fajitas, a burrito was uncooked where even the cheese was not melted on it. Go in to dine, but don’t order delivery.“

Love the concept of pouring your own beers/ drinks, there's a full cocktail bar, the food is excellent and they offer free parking.
The space is nice and airy with a good sized heated patio. Perfect place for a small or large group gathering. Very chill vibe and excellent costumer service.“

“I had a great experience here. I called once we landed to see if we would be able to check in early, and they said yes. My husband was so sick from the plane ride, so we were grateful for that. The room we were given wasn’t cleaned, but the front desk immediately found us one that was ready. I love the waiting area set up, and there was a cute large connect 4 game. I enjoyed a drink a bar, the bartender was very sweet. The floors are confusing, so be sure to ask the staff what floor your room is on. Parking was simple, it’s designated just for the hotel. You can pay hourly or do all day. There is a shuttle to the airport I think. We rented a vehicle though. You are walking distance from a pharmacy and a few restaurants. The only downside is that it is a very small place for the number of people that arrive; no dance floor, only one pool table, and hard to order a drink because of the very crowded bar. I hope they don’t ever remodel or change a thing in there including the ripped up mish mash chairs, wobble tables… it’s our favorite happy little place. “Stopped in after dinner at Sushi Bei. The place have been upgraded a bit since the last ownership. Way less dive feeling (but the old way was great too!).We just had a couple drinks and didn’t sing. The atmosphere was great! A very fun party and people were having a great time.They have many premium liquors and several mezcals (my fave). Looks like they no longer have the private room in the back.I would go back and would recommend!“

“We had breakfast a BLU in San Pedro and the food was good but the service from Pedro and Genka was exceptional.
What wonderful people. I had the Denver omelet with potatoes, sourdough toast and fruit with coffee and OJ and my wife had two eggs with oatmeal, fruit and hot tea. A nice morning with great people and good food.

And the service was great! They arrived early. And the food was hot. The owner, Norwood, presented the food with a very appetizing description of each entree. Everyone loved it! Additionally, the portions were very generous. And everyone went back for seconds. At Triedstone, we do everything with excellence. And Darrow’s definitely met the challenge. “Great spot in Lawndale/Torrance area. Awesome for catching Dodger games. They have plenty of amazing beer on draft. They also offer wine and other hard liquor here. I like the decor they have set up here. Parking can be a pain since its right on Prairie but if you drive into the neighborhood you usually can find a spot. If you like brooklyn bar down hawthorne you'd like this place. Similar vibe.“

“Dive bar. I like that. 2 pool tables. Both are pretty damn good. Locals are a bit on the “I’m so tough” side. But not so bad to keep you away. Occasionally there are good shooters there. Good bartenders… and again, 2 good pool tables. I’m in!

“We were just passing through and looking for something close to our hotel, and so happy we found this spot! Because it was our first time, we got complimentary chili - definitely see why it’s 7 times award winning! Very flavorful and just the right amount of spice. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, and very accommodating to make sure our order is to our liking. We had 2 bento boxes, Kaula pork and bbq pork. The portion sizes were perfect and the meat was very flavorful. The sides of macaroni and cucumber salad were just as good. We also had one of their many specials of the day, fish tacos, which were incredibly fresh and simple, exactly what I want for fish tacos. Next time we’re visiting LA, we’ll be sure to be back!“

It was a very chill vibe inside and lots of fresh air. The bartender was nice but I think maybe she thought it was weird to be on a laptop. The longer I was there the crazier it got and it ended up not being the vibe I expected and felt like I probably shouldn't be on my laptop. So I left after one drink. It was a really good margarita though. I would drink here but maybe not the bar to do some work at haha. Which is a pretty new concept anyway unless you wfh.“
