I’m still making my way through their menu but there hasn’t been anything I’ve ordered that I didn’t wish I ordered a large of. Their team is exceptional, especially during COVID. “Had a Taro Milk Tea. Satisfies a craving and not too bad for the price. Have been here years so familiar with the drinks and they won't be a must have. Just moreso convenient and accessible. Keep in mind they prefer cash, using credit requires a $.50 charge.

“This is a private home-style restaurant with no fancy decoration. If you want something high-end and grand, don't come. The main thing is to enjoy the taste of the dishes here. The taste is really amazing. If you can't handle spicy food, don't come either. Most of the dishes are very spicy. The service is just so-so. Like many Chinese restaurants, the attitude is rather casual. But here, unlike other restaurants, they won't chase you for tips. After you pay, just sign and leave it on the table. Overall, I'll give it five points. I like the taste here. There's a parking lot behind the building, and you can also park by the roadside.the price is a little expensive.“

“We stopped by Hai Cha for boba tea after visiting the museum. The owner greeted us right away as we walked through the door. He's super friendly and he was very welcoming. We got Hai Cha special milk tea with boba. Waffle was boba. Yogurt smoothie and mango smoothie. The size of the smoothies were huge. We enjoyed our food.“

“Came here for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. And ordering was very easy since you do it through a QR code but you can also ask for a menu and order that way as well. Food came within 10 to 15 minutes and everything was very hot and fresh. The meat pies were really hot and filled with yummy juices. The scallion pancakes were very very yummy. I highly recommend getting the cucumbers. Service was decent but don't be expecting conversations from these ladies. They bring you your food and that's about it. “We have been going to Boba Box since it was still doing the soft opening. We drive about 15-20 mins just to come here. My family found a new boba place that actually accommodate everybody drinking favorite. I don’t have to drive to Rowland Heights for Half And Half then go to West Covina for BYOB and OneZo. “New Boba spot and I love it. Their prices are very reasonable and I love that their boba is always fresh and soft. I always order off the swirl menu. Add creme brulee to your drink. They also have fries, onion rings, and cheese sticks. Love the plain cheese sticks, only thing missing is the marinara sauce. They give ranch but I don't like their ranch. It tastes weird. I tried the plain onion rings extra crispy. They are ok but leave a grainy after taste. I'll stick to the cheese sticks. But I love their boba. I go almost every day“

“El Monte doesn’t have too many good boba spots, but Ono Tea House is a decent option. Prices here are a little lower than most places, which is nice.

The tea itself is just okay — not super strong — and the drinks can lean on the sweeter side. I usually order mine with 1/4 sugar since I don’t like them too sweet.

Overall, it’s not a spot I’d go out of my way for, but if you’re in El Monte and really craving boba, it does the job.“

📩 Boba boba! I had the chance to try out @bengong and it was super delicious!

I think the best Asian compliment you can get for dessert is the “not so sweet,” from your aunties, and this was definitely what it was giving.

The sweetest drink by far was the Mango Mochi which was served as a slush. It was super refreshing and a good pick me up drink for a hot day.

The tea lattes were also very good and are definitely a good option for less sweet items. My personal favorite between the lattes had to be the peach latte which was super refreshing and a good study drink!

Environment is also a good place to study and chill at, but definitely on the smaller side 📚🙇‍♀️📖

The boba tea was absolutely amazing. I got the strawberry milk boba tea, and I loved it. It was so cheap too, especially with the toppings I added. I got it with coffee jelly, boba, pudding, and it tasted so good. It also tasted like there was actual strawberry in there and not just strawberry flavoring. Had some strawberry bits in it too. I can’t believe how cheap it was, ($6.50) for a large boba with three toppings. Was also pretty fast too.“

Their portions are much larger than other shops, and the tea flavor is pronounced and not covered by sugar/milk. The manager, Ryan, was super helpful in preparing our bulk order for the wedding, and it was a major hit during our wedding. Their cheesy fruit smoothie is one of the greatest drink I ever had. Perfect sweetness, ice cold and somehow it just feels like burst of freshness and flavors melting in your mouth. One of the negative though is the long wait time, there wasn’t much people ahead of me, but I had to wait about 20-30 minutes before I could get my order.“

“Delicious boba drinks. I’ve visited this location several times and the employees are always efficient, but the prices have been rising similar to other tea places in LA. Two options to order: at two self-service kiosks or with a worker at the register. I recommend the Oreo brûlée boba milk which was $6.95. They also have several kids menu options which are great for a smaller 16 oz drink instead of the normal 22 oz. They’re located at the entrance of a food court in a shared plaza with a super market and other stores, so there’s enough shared lot parking.“
