There was a young lady working the back kitchen area who also went above and beyond to make sure my party had a great experience overall. “This place is pretty good as far as hot chicken goes. It's not the best but it's decent, I've ordered from here plenty of times. But Rays is still at the top. They don't really have much of a space for sitting in and dining. So if you want to eat you need to go down one of the nearby alleyways and sit at the tables there.“

“My experience at Dave's hot chicken was good. The staff are extremely friendly and social and the atmosphere is warm and exiting with amazing outdoor seating. Me and my peer got a soft drink, fries, tenders, and a chicken slider all of them extra spicy. Extra spicy is like a 7/10 for me (my spice tolerance is kinda mid but better than the average). The fries and chicken were crunchy but the food is quite greasy. Chicken is heavily seasoned. We went finished the food at around 1 pm and our stomachs started hurting. Its 10:35 PM right now and my stomach still hurted. Both had an irritated stomachand I had to take medicine for the pain to go away. Overall, would reccomend to people that can take the spice and are enjoyers of heavily seasoned and greasy foods. However, people who cannot tolerate spice, grease, and HEAAAVILY seasons foods should not come here. Praying for anyone who's stomach gets upset by this chicken ????“

I cannot eat a ton of fried chicken on my own, but I saw that this restaurant had other dishes as well. I decided to come here and give bb.q Chicken a try.They had a free soda with Yelp check in. My wife got a diet coke, and I ordered water. The restaurant gives complimentary pickled radishes. The staff are very nice and friendly.My wife ordered the tteokbokki, whereas I got the kimchi fried rice. I was torn between the fried rice and the bulgogi poutine, but I also knew I wanted rice, so I got the kimchi fried rice. My wife and I shared our dishes. The tteokbokki was good, sweet and spicy. The rice cakes were a nice texture. The kimchi fried rice was also solid, but a bit spicy for me.Given how close it is to me, I will definitely come back in the future to try their fried chicken.“

“Amazing consistent food. I have been going for 2 years, and the spicy chicken breading and quality have not been diluted post pandemic. The only issue with this location is the seating area, and the front door needs to be fixed as it locks open and lets in the freeway smells. I recommend the spicy chicken with the mac and cheese. “My first visit to this location. They ran out of menus, cups, and didn't have any desserts. I decided to try the chicken chili cheese fries. On the menu he had the option to add cut pieces of chicken on top for an additional fee. I opt out of the chicken on top just wanted chili and cheese. When my food arrived they put the chicken on top instead of sending it back I just tried it. The fries where okay I removed the chicken off the top because it just didn't taste right to me. I would have to try them again with extra cheese because they where sort of skimpy with the cheese. Their sunset drink is good though. No refills on specialty drinks so be prepared to pay.“

It melts in your mouth immediately and has great flavor.“

“Dined in at 2pm on a Friday and there wasn't anyone else in the restaurant. I was greeted by the worker at the register. She asked if I was dining in or take out and I told her "dine in." I was seated and given the menu, plates, utensils, and even pickled radish right away. I took some time to study the menu and both workers checked in to see if I wanted any recommendations. One of the guys was very knowledgeable about the wing sauces and the menu but I didn't get his name. Eventually I gave them my order and I waited about 5 minutes and my food came out one at a time. Cheesling Fries (9/10) - The cheese powder on the fries were amazing! It wasn't too overpowering or too cheesy. The fries were hot and crispy. They even drizzle it in the secret sauce. It was very well balanced together. Rose Ddeok-Bokki (8/10) - The first few bites tasted like it needed more seasoning and flavor. The more I ate it, the better it got. It was not spicy for me and it was a great combination of creamy with a small but of tang. The rice cakes were soft and chewy. It was also very delicious overall.Secret Sauce Wings (8.5/10) - The chicken wings were very fresh. The batter was still crispy and the sauce was sweet, tangy, and sticky. It reminded me of my favorite childhood Chinese dish, Peking Pork Chop or sweet and sour pork chop. It did get soggy once the wings sat too long. Soy Garlic Wings (7.5/10) - The soy flavor overpowered the garlic in these wings but overall a really solid choice. The wings were also hot and crispy with a sweet and salty sauce. Overall, the food is 8/10. The service was 10/10. They checked in with me at least every 10-15 minutes. They gave me napkins without asking for it. I had a very pleasant experience!“

Everyone always ends up asking me where did I buy the chicken from. The family running the business here is always welcoming and always accommodating. “I had the 1/2 chicken plate (#2) for lunch today, 04/25/2023, about 12:50p. No one else was in line which worried me at first. The cashier was speaking to the two males in the kitchen, but quickly addressed me and asked what I wanted. She clarified #1 or #2 as they both are 1/2 chicken plates, one with rice and beans, one w/o. I wanted the later. $8.81 total, not bad. I watched as the younger male pulled out a spit, pulled off a whole chicken and cut it in half. He put that half into a to go container, the other half want onto a try and back into the rotisserie oven. The cashier finished fixing my order and I was out. Less than 5 minutes total. Plus 1 star. The chicken was still piping hot when I opened the container, some 5 minutes after. It was juicy, and pulled from bones easily. The taste was good, like most rotisserie chicken, with hints of salt, paprika, and pepper. I don't believe they marinated it with any flavors, but likely brined cu it was juicy. The #2 came with tortillas and salsa, that's it and that is they way I like it. Tortillas were good and hot, likely NOT homemade, but soft and provide the perfect ride for the chicken and salsa. I'd go back as this place was clean, fresh (for rotisserie) and had fast service. In the waist land that is Huntington Park/Walnut Park this is a good spot.“

“The chicken fell off the bone but it was a little dry. We subbed the rice for Cole slaw and that was definitely the right choice. The meal for two was good for us to enjoy the next day for lunch as well. We got everything to go so I didn't see much from service and ambiance but it was a nice healthy meal and we will visit again :)“
