“Very tasty - casual, order at a kiosk, bus your own tables, cute decor and plates/bowls. The chrysanthemum salad (delicious dressing & great fluffy texture), eggplant with tofu (so savory with the black bean sauce!), and the garlic tomato chow mein noodles were all great. Nice to have this excellent option in downtown Mill Valley. There’s a printed menu that has the vegan and vegetarian items marked, but the electronic kiosk does not! “Of all of our favorite places to eat, this is one my wife and I count as the very top tier.

The service is always excellent. We've never asked for anything to not receive it or have the item forgotten about, they are always quick to accommodate, and every person who works here is friendly and well mannered.

As for the food, it is the best sushi I've ever had next to Bamboo in Portland (and still, I think I prefer Sushi Tri). When we're travelling, we now frequently overlook sushi places simply because the fear is that we will just miss what we get at Sushi Tri.

We are creatures of habit, so usually, we order any combination of the pork gyoza, the California hand rolls, the King Dragon Roll, the Mount Fuji Roll, and the spicy tuna tacos. More often than not, we will order all of these things, if we aren't trying something new, and often, we'll walk out considering coming right back in for more in a disguise, so we don't look as shameful as we feel wanting more when we're full (but looking ridiculous isn't off the table). Their ramen is also fantastic, and among my favorites.

The dining area is always spotless, and is very comfortable. If you're worried about missing an important game when having dinner out, they've got that covered, too. We've never had too much trouble getting a seat here, but it does get busy, because it is, indeed, the best.

We recommend Sushi Tri to literally anyone who comes into Marin.“

Lunch buffet often has more unusual seasonal dishes, as well as the classics. Buffet is an incredible deal with lots of dishes, Chai, salad, samosas and pakoras, pickles and dessert all included, and delicious. Did I mention that prices are really reasonable? “Before today I was certain that there were no good Vietnamese restaurants in Marin. Then I tried Pho. What a find.

Very simple basic menu, but everything was perfect. Flavorful, fresh, generously sized, good service. Everything was right. We are talking San Francisco - San Jose level of excellence for Vietnamese food. I used to think you had to go to the City to find great Vietnamese food, But now we have it local here in San Rafael. The other Vietnamese restaurants around town can't even compare. This restaurant is now on my short list. Coming back. Five star.“

“Yosumi Ramen is a fantastic newer spot that genuinely surprised me in the best way. We originally stopped in for sushi, and everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The quality definitely exceeded expectations for a newer restaurant in the area.

The staff was warm, attentive, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and welcoming. You can tell they care about what they’re doing. The space itself is clean, modern, and comfortable…perfect for a casual lunch or an easy dinner out.

I didn’t try the ramen this time, but after seeing it come out for other tables, I’m absolutely getting it on my next visit. It looked incredible. All in all, Yosumi Ramen is definitely worth a try, and I’m already looking forward to coming back.

“First time here, just moved back to the area. It’s Wednesday sun is shining and they have great beers! Service has been amazing, saw some negative reviews and not sure if I got lucky because of the timing.
Not very busy, a couple of TV’s for sports, honestly for me love this atmosphere. Oh and big plus they are dog friendly. You will enjoy your time here if you are not in a rush or trying to be too “Marin”“
