“As a hotpot lover, I could never fine a better place in Sac then Grand Hotpot Lounge. I visited this place 4th time in a month. The happy hour option is just the BEST! If you like AYCE and great options with hotpot then you can’t miss it out. Definitely will come back with more friends.“

“My husband and I are newer to the Sacramento area so we haven’t found too many go-to spots yet. We wanted Chinese food and so I looked up places around us and this one had really good reviews. It was about 20 minutes from where we live. The staff was very very friendly, they checked in with us and asked if we needed anything as we ate. We got two different combination plates and a side of potstickers. The plates come with whatever main item you choose and pork fried rice and chicken chow mein unless you tell them otherwise. The plates were pretty packed, the food was hot/fresh and it was very delicious. The potstickers are fried but not overly crunchy which we like. Very good and affordable compared to other places we looked at. The only downside is there is no restroom and nowhere to go in that little plaza and it smelt like someone was smoking cigarettes in the back. Other than that, it was a great first time experience and we will definitely come back!“

“Every time you come to or pass by Sacramento, you must come to this famous "OLD GUI LINE" Rice noodles shop in Beiwan to eat a big bowl! The boss is a conscientious businessman. Each bowl of Rice noodles is served with two kinds of meat and soup. Customers can add about 10 kinds of seasonings at will. The key is free of tips! No tips! Each person can eat very full for $15 (including tax), making every guest satisfied. Merchants must be given full marks!“

The prices are wallet-friendly, making it easy to indulge in multiple dishes without breaking the bank. Each bite reflects the care and expertise of the kitchen staff, elevating even the simplest dishes into something memorable.
The restaurant's atmosphere is warm and welcoming, complemented by a team of attentive and friendly staff who go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience. Whether you're a dim sum enthusiast or a first-timer, they'll happily guide you through the menu.
Overall, Yi Long Dumpling combines great food, affordability, and excellent service into an experience you’ll want to repeat. Be sure to stop by on the weekend to enjoy those freshly baked buns! Highly recommended!“

“Topping are solid, but this can get pricey real fast at $13.99/lb. You can easily get to 2 lbs if you’re not being careful. I personally tried the Classic Bone Broth without knowing what mala chili was… WHOOPS. It’s a spicy numbing chili, so if you’re not used to the mala chili numbing burning sensation stay away from it. Lots of options in the sauce bar and service was pretty straightforward and nice.“

“Wanted to try everything on the menu however our stomachs were not up for the challenge. Went in during lunch time and it wasn’t too busy and we were quickly seated. Ordered something from pretty much each section of the menu and each dish had its own unique flavor. The standout for me has to be the green beans and the shrimp pumpkin salted egg dishes. However the other dishes were equally as wonderful. Great environment to dine in and very clean. Also, the waiters there were extremely sweet and welcoming which added on to the overall dining experience. Can’t wait to return to try other dishes off the menu, I’m pretty sure it will taste delicious!“

“I was thinking the serving and the number of dumplings were not a lot considering it was only $11 but I was wrong! There were actualIy 10 dumplings on it. I was not able to finish it so I had to take it home. It could be good for two persons as long as you’re not that hungry.“

“This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants to go with family. I really love the Ambiance inside they have a big seating area where you can have a table of 10 or more. They even have small tables as well. They also give you mango juice or Hong Kong iced tea on the house when you dine in which is a really nice touch. Some of my favorite dishes here is their special chow mein with seafood. The noodles is very fresh egg noodles and they put a lot of vegetables and seafood and different Meats as well. Also we love their shredded chicken salad which comes with lettuce and cilantro and has it really nice fresh flavor. We also like ordering their sweet and sour spirits. The pork spirit is soft and tender and has a really nice Tangy sauce. Also we love ordering their pork knuckle which is a really big bone and has some meat and they even cut up the meat and each meat piece has a crispy pig skin on top. Also we love ordering their fried rice which is very comforting and also very flavorful and we like ordering the salt fish with chicken fried rice. They also have amazing Clay Pot rice with different toppings like black bean sauce spirits and then also dry duck and Chinese sausage in The Clay Pot rice. Overall they provide really good service and always pay attention to detail and making sure our tea and water is always not empty. Also the parking outside is quite big so there is lots of parking but sometimes it gets full and we need to park across the street. Have you been what's your favorite and what is your to go to order if you've been here. Thanks for reading and have a yelptastic day.“

“After a long day at work, my coworker and I decided to treat ourselves to pho. I can genuinely say that the atmosphere and service made the experience 100 times more comfortable and just what we were looking for. On top of that, the music playlist was fire. But most importantly, the pho was a 10/10 and the egg rolls! Price is reasonable for the current economy and even if on a budget like I was, the kids size is perfect just for that. Shoutout to Carina for her exceptional service! Would definitely come eat here again“

“Great Local Chinese! My husband grew up in Hong Kong and so Chinese food is a staple for us. We were looking for something new and gave Jade Garden a try. They had a great 'family style' meal that he and I shared. They offer 2 different combinations. My favorite items were the cashew chicken and the egg flower soup. The staff were very friendly and answered any questions we had. They have a large menu, so many options! I really enjoyed my experience here and look forward to returning.“

“The food here was fantastic!
The fried pork chops were flavorful with just the right kick from fresh peppers. The beef chow fun was perfectly smoky and balanced, with tender beef and chewy noodles. And the eggplant was a standout, being so sweet!
The service is great too. This is my second time and will come again“

“My friend told me that the New China Restaurant in the Pocket Area is under new management, and they have new menus and new chefs. We decided to have our dinner there last night.I found out they have a new sign at the front door, and the dining room is completely remodeled. The dining room is brand new and comfortable. They have new menus, including many Hong Kong-style yummy dishes and drinks. Some sections listed are coming soon. I can't wait to see more delicious items added to their menu in the near future. All the dishes we get are so good, and we have excellent services. New China is my favorite restaurant in Sacramento now!
Parking: They have more parking space in the parking lot with a short walk if the parking in front of the restaurant is full.

“I think they have the best chow mein in town. And they make really good hamburgers (and perfect fries) for less than any of our local chain store/fast food places.Their broccoli beef is super yummy too. So to their fried rice. I haven't tried much else from their extensive menu but I suppose I should because I like all their food that I have tried. I am also very sensitive to MSG and have never ever gotten a headache after eating their food; and I react quickly and painfully to even a trace of that stuff in my food.
This is a take-out location. There is no seating for eating there, but they are fast with any order. Call your order in and it'll be ready when you get there.“

“Jade Foundation Cafe is a restaurant known by almost all Chinese in Sacramento. They are one of the best wonton noodle soup restaurants. They are famous for their wontons and dumplings with or without the noodles. The beef stew and pig feet are also my favorite dishes there too. They also have many yummy Chinese dishes, and porridge is also available. The service is fast and attentive.
Parking: The parking lot is very tiny and shared with many businesses and restaurants. Street parking is available but also hard to get.
Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair friendly“

“Why do the serve spaghetti at a Chinese restaurant? It taste good though. Smothered in cheese. I think the sauce is sweet and sour sauce. Happy hour drinks take forever to prepare and service needs work. Minus one star. Try the giant pork leg too.“

“Sonora location. Tried when first opened and few weeks ago. It was clean (new) and great service. Re-visited yesterday and totally the opposite! Counter was dirty, all food was low. It was 4 o’clock and not busy. The cook, other gentleman and waitress was very unprofessional and unsanitary! The cook, yes while wearing gloves, continued to touch dirty services and our food. At one point he had his cell phone in his hand looking at it while cooking our food. Phone back in dirty pocket, touching his hair then back to cooking our food! The conversation between the three of them were load and unprofessional. I was so ready to leave! Definitely won’t be returning anytime soon.“

“Excellent quality and flavor. We ordered Siu mai, steamed pork and soup dumplings, but the real stars were the shrimp and pea shoot dumplings. I was definitely surprised about this location at a ghost kitchen and food pick up spot located in the north downtown area. “Wings restaurant is such a great place to eat, I came in almost closing time and the young gentleman who took my order was such a good sport about taking my huge order ... For one,.. one person... He made me feel comfortable as well as welcoming to ask "how many days will all this food last... One person? He chuckled and responded with" alot of days." That's the plan I said in return. Lol ... Great place to get some amazing mouth watering grub for the soul.. well and my thighs. Lol
Parking: I am not too fond of downtown Sacramento but this is right off of J Street and it was so easy to get to that location“

“We were traveling to Lake Tahoe. We passed through Sacramento and ate Asian food called Yum Cha Cafe (on the right side of the Shunfa SF Supermarket on 65th Street. We ate their roast duck, barbecued pork buns, shrimp balls, and barbecue. , fried noodles, siomai, their roast duck is so famous and really delicious. Very good seasoning, very fresh, plump and elastic meat. This is the most valuable roast duck in this area. I only had it in Hong Kong last time. I'm so happy today. I tasted such a good taste again. “I came over via bus on the way back home from university, decided to drop by to eat the lunch special with Mongolian beef and chow mien. Bill came out to twenty (fifteen with the special + hot tea, five dollar tip). The beef and chow mien were alright, they were nothing special but there was an degree of flavor with the way the sauce and chili coated the beef and kneaded in with the (meatless) chow mien section. At the time of my visit, this place has the hallmarks of an 1980s holdover Chinese restaurant joint, with paper posters, gold-leaf printed olive carpet, plastic ivy, and those good ol, chunky chopsticks, cool natural lighting and ceramic plates.“
