“What an Amazing experience with Roman as our host. We loved walking in the gorgeous vineyard and viewing the fog on Atlas peak in the distance. The wines are so elegant and delightful. I highly recommend the tasting experience expertly paired with delectable bites. The most enjoyable part of the morning was hearing the stories that Roman told us about the property and all of the details we enjoy in the making of the wine down to the quotes on each cork. “Our best visit during our trip to Napa! We visited Domaine Carneros, B.Cellars, Davis Estates, Grgich, and Prager Port. We had a nice visit at all of those vineyards, but none of them came close to the hospitality, friendliness and generosity that Ryan Morales showed us during our tasting at Maxville. The wines were fantastic, as was meeting Cullen...a member of the wine making team. The entire visit was spot on from the minute we arrived, to the tour of the grounds, to the tasting. Exceptional, proud to be a club member at Maxville...can't wait until our next visit.“

“At my first visit I decided to become a member. The tasting room is very artsy, the grounds are small but nice to walk. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Additionally, you get free monthly access to other tasting rooms at couple of nearby wineries.

Wine taste is very subjective, so that's a bit more difficult to rate. What one person likes might be unpleasant to another. I've been at wineries where I don't like any of their wines, as well as one where I liked 9 out of 10 tastings. At Raymond, I like several of their reds, and all of their whites. Over all a very pleasant tasting experience worth repeating here and there.“

“Hall Wines was an experience beyond anything that I could have imagined. When we came to wine taste at Hall, our expectations were not set. I've been too many wineries in St Helena, but I've never been to Hall. The grounds were absolutely immaculate. The winery was stunningly, beautiful. Our server Alfredo Hernandez was knowledgeable, warm, friendly, inviting, and a superb host. I love talking about wanting and asking questions as I taste and both Alfredo and Tom were both a pleasure to engage with. We enjoyed absolutely everything in our experience. We enjoyed everything so much that I decided that after July of this year, I would like to switch my wine club over to Hall from another wine club that I have in Napa. Very much looking forward to our next visit!“

Markham is our favorite of the 20 we visited that week. We will be joining their wine club... when we finish the wine we shipped home.

Great tasting and our host went above and beyond. While multitasking his guests including a private party, he made us feel more than just welcome. He gave us appropriate time to enjoy our wine, always returning at the right time. He shared history and fun personal experiences living in Napa for over 50 years, while laughing with us. Regrettably, his contact info was lost during wine shipping home.“

We took a ride down to Napa Valley and our first stop was at Alpha Omega Winery. Even though it was cold, a little bit muggy, we were able to warm ourselves up by the fire. The tasting room is beautiful, the staff is warm and welcoming, and our sommelier was truly exceptional; attentive, knowledgeable, and made the experience feel special.

We tried that $100 4 glass pairing with food (we had four tapas style food) and it was enough for the tasting but I wish we could order more food on top of what’s given to us.

It’s must-visit if you’re a red wine lover and they are also a dog friendly establishment. ☺️“
