“Great poke near SFO! About $20 for a huge bowl with 5 kinds of sashimi — perfect for anyone trying to eat light but stay full. I picked tuna, salmon, octopus, scallops, and another fish, with brown rice, veggies, and spicy mayo. Super fresh and filling until the end of the workday.

Ordering is easy — you just check boxes on the menu, no need for much talking (introvert-friendly ✅). The place is clean and casual, great for a quick healthy lunch.

They also have curry chicken katsu (crispy and delicious), sushi, ramen, and takoyaki. Definitely worth a try if you’re in the area!“

“I’ve been to many MANY different Cajun seafood boil spots ALLL over the Bay Area and let me tell u guys… this was the most flavorful more delicious restaurant I’ve ever been to !

“I came in on (9/1) right before 7 pm with 3 of my friends. It seemed a little busy for a monday…well, it’s labor day. Our server, Betty (i think) made sure to keep bringing us fresh biscuits while we waited on our food. Betty was exceptionally sweet. I think we were her last table but she went out of her way to be nice to us. One of my friends had a togo order and she waited to make sure the burger got to us before she left her shift. she was so genuinely gracious, pleasant and accommodating We all hope she is working the next time we are in. she’s a great server.❤️ we’re already planning our next trip“

“The best sushi place in SF…I am a sushi lover. The fish there are so fresh and the Uni are premium. From the sashimi to the Kobe beef, everything is top. Their pricing is also very reasonable. Eric and Phoebe are very nice and provide excellent service.“

“A no-frills place for authentic comfort Chinese (and a few other non-Chinese but still Asian) dishes that is very convenient for those arriving late at SFO airport (they open past midnight). Walking distance to a few hotels or to a bus stop along El Camino Real, which passes several hotels in the area. I ordered the beef rib pho and fried oysters. I was satisfied with my meal and the beef rib was tender and flavorful. If ever I arrive in SF late at night on another trip, I won't hesitate to eat at this restaurant again.“

“The oysters were fresh and sweet, and the Caesar salad was excellent — I especially loved the sardines and crunchy croutons. The cioppino was flavorful with generous seafood, though it only came with one small slice of crostini, which wasn’t quite enough to soak up the broth. Unfortunately, the linguine with clams was disappointing — the sauce was watery, bland, and lacked any garlic flavor. The brownie sundae was decent, nothing to rave about but a nice finish.

Service was just okay. Our server seemed a bit inexperienced — two entrées came out first, and we had to wait about five minutes for the third. The table wasn’t wiped down before dessert, and even after I asked for extra napkins (which I needed for the crab in the cioppino), they never came. Overall, some dishes shined, but the inconsistencies in food and service made the experience feel uneven.“

“Anchored in the bay, all the way from Puget sound and a dinghy ride in for food. Walked around and quickly realized this was the busiest spot in town. Cold beverages outside made the wait alright. The "award winning" fish and chips were great! Calamari too. Great food, generous portions & good view of our boats. Staff was fun too. Cheers!“

The menu is expanded but still simple, good cocktails. The food has definitely improved a couple of levels and the prices are great for what you get. I have seen many locations across the bay area.

Food: Most of the foods are grilled or fried. All of them are tasty and fresh. Many fish choices, sauces, and sites to choose from. My favorite sauces are garlic butter and Cajun. The fish and chips are very good with tartar sauce. The grilled sea bass fish are very flavorful and would recommend having sauce on the side.

Price: very reasonable price for portions of food.“

“I really enjoyed my meal there last night. Ordered the vegan combo with the gluten-free teff injeera. The only thing I had to send back were the side order of mushrooms. I requested little or no oil and the dish was drowning in oil. They took it back, no problem and removed the item from my bill. I will go back!“

The walls look like they’re made of green velvet but it’s actually concrete. The service was friendly, and they made to sure to keep our glasses full. The food is from Ernest, which was a treat. I always order the Minced Pork and Mei Cai which I miss from Singapore, and feel is pretty uncommon for Chinese restos in SF. We've also tried many other items - clams with egg, rock cod and tofu claypot, etc - all homey and delicious.

The uncle who runs the place is pretty friendly and charming to EVERYONE too (also uncommon for Chinese restos for non-Chinese speaking diners)!“

The foods quality and freshness are generally consistent throughly the yrs but once in awhile, it just off, we had that couple time. Also just my pov, it is abit declined since the beginning. But they are still delish and got to have it at least one year. Services are the same, mostly great but one in a full moons just the opposite. Overall still an institutional place or landmark for SF and the Vietnamese community for sure. I tried to sit sibling places in SF doentown, BH and South coat plaza and even with the mother cooked in BH, somehow this place still carries the original and most flavorful crab ever.“
