“I was visiting from Canada and craving authentic Persian food and I’m so glad I found this place! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere took my breath away. The decor was absolutely spectacular lanterns glowing softly, beautiful Persian carpets, and a ceiling full of twinkling lights that made it feel like dining under the stars.
The food was equally amazing rich flavors, perfectly cooked kebabs, and the most delicious tahdig I’ve had outside of Iran. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of authentic taste.

Mr. Shawarma Pacific Beach is an absolute gem for Mediterranean cuisine! I had the pleasure of trying their Meat Shawarma, Chicken Chapolie Shawarma, and Mandi Chicken, and every bite was a delightful experience.

The presentation of the food was impeccable – vibrant, colorful, and beautifully arranged. The Mandi Chicken, in particular, stood out with its rich golden hue, resting on a bed of fragrant rice, perfectly complemented by fresh lemon slices and mint. Each dish looked like it was crafted with attention to detail and love.

The tenderness of the meat was beyond expectations – the shawarma was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly spiced, while the Mandi Chicken was fall-off-the-bone tender, packed with aromatic flavors that transported me straight to the heart of the Mediterranean.

A huge shoutout to Zain and Zena , who made the experience even more memorable. Their warm and welcoming attitude added a personal touch that elevated the entire dining experience. They genuinely care about their customers and their passion for good food shows in every interaction.

“The men that work there are super friendly and provide great customer service. The bread of the pizza is crispy and fluffy at the same time. The toppings are generous. However, i didn’t have sauce to give it the flavor you’re looking for. Everyone recommends the butter paneer which was good but the curry chicken has that hint of heat and Indian curry that makes it more unique. It was good but not great enough for me to go back which I am bummed about. Definitely try it as more sauce for me may be a personal preference“

“This Place is a hidden gem. Walking home and saw the recently opened "THE KABOB GRILL". I went in for an exquisite dinner. I had the chicken kabob- with my discount it was less than $15 for a full plate or rice, salad, yogurt and a pita. The plate comes with a grilled tomato and I requested some of their hot sauce. You should too! There is a big parking lot across the street and I was told they offer free valet.“

Its menu is limited and occasionally they might not have some of the dishes. However, once you take a bite of the food, you will forget about all of that, as all things are cooked just right, with good flavors that are not overpowering, and in good portions.

The goat plate is very tender and the fish in both fish wrap and fish salad is moist and savory.

Javid is one of the kindest, most welcoming, and extremely professsional owner I have ever got a pleasure to work with. Our sons event that took place in early November was a success. starting from the arragnements of the place, to delicious appetizers, leading to the main course, to all the way desserts and fruits.
