In a world of darkness, pain, and misery the Shack is my refuge. My life hangs off of Halal Shack like the Shawarma hangs on the rotating stick. To say the least, the atmosphere is extraordinarily comforting. The perfectly simple basmati rice is delectably seasoned, and perfectly complements your choice of protein. The sauce and sumac finishers bring it all together into a perfect equilibrium, much like God's perfectly chaotic universe. The whole experience, the buildup as you wait in line, the experimentation with different ingredients, the final hurrah as the flavors overwhelm your mouth, it is a near sexual experience. The staff are experts, guides in this incredible experience. They are the deliverers of my holy communion, priests ordained by the highest authority. We are not worthy of Halal Shack, yet the Shack does not judge, it invites those of all backgrounds. The shack dwells in Babylon; Panda Express, Rubios, Subway, Shakesmart, Baba's Pizza, and Jamal's Chicken tempt those who have not been Enlighted. Yet others and myself have seen through their lies, hacked through the jungle that blocks our path to destiny. Halal Shake, thank you with all my heart.“

The Dave’s hot chicken sandwich sandwiches and the chicken tenders are amazing. The real star of this place are the french fries not sure why but they are amazing. Just one thing you should know I always mobile order and it seems to take forever so if you go in there and order right off the street, expect kind of a longer weight than any fast food place.“

“The men that work there are super friendly and provide great customer service. The bread of the pizza is crispy and fluffy at the same time. The toppings are generous. However, i didn’t have sauce to give it the flavor you’re looking for. Everyone recommends the butter paneer which was good but the curry chicken has that hint of heat and Indian curry that makes it more unique. It was good but not great enough for me to go back which I am bummed about. Definitely try it as more sauce for me may be a personal preference“

“Awesome sandwiches and service!! We had Ike’s cater a tray of sandwiches for a co-worker’s retirement and they were a big hit! And the manager was super friendly and service was fast. Wish I had taken a photo of the nice tray they quickly put together but we were so hungry and quickly ate all the sandwiches. Everyone loved the fun names of the sandwiches too. “This Place is a hidden gem. Walking home and saw the recently opened "THE KABOB GRILL". I went in for an exquisite dinner. I had the chicken kabob- with my discount it was less than $15 for a full plate or rice, salad, yogurt and a pita. The plate comes with a grilled tomato and I requested some of their hot sauce. You should too! There is a big parking lot across the street and I was told they offer free valet.“

“Small restaurant serving delicious home cooked Somali cuisine for 16 years. It is located in a strip mall that’s not fully occupied. Its menu is limited and occasionally they might not have some of the dishes. However, once you take a bite of the food, you will forget about all of that, as all things are cooked just right, with good flavors that are not overpowering, and in good portions.

The goat plate is very tender and the fish in both fish wrap and fish salad is moist and savory.

The rice and hummus and tabouli and made really go well together! Every item on its own is quite decent, but when you mix it all up and have it in one bite it's just beautiful!

Also got the chicken egg roll on the side. It was nice and crunchy and the filling on the inside was flavorful. They cut it into two so you can see what's on the inside as well. Javid is one of the kindest, most welcoming, and extremely professsional owner I have ever got a pleasure to work with. Our sons event that took place in early November was a success. starting from the arragnements of the place, to delicious appetizers, leading to the main course, to all the way desserts and fruits. Javid and his team did an exceptionally well job in making our event a memorable one. Both servers that were assigned to us were the most amazing DUO you could have ever asked for. All I know is the food I ordered chicken samosa, veggie samosa, chicken biryani, garlic naan and tikka masala (spicy with chicken) is some of the best Indian food that I’ve had on this side of the world.
