“As someone who has never really order anything caffeine before, I was given a recommendation to order a certain drink. I finally made the trip and got a Grande Mocca Cookie Frap. In truth, the first time I did so was at another Starbucks, and it had too much ice, so I decided to try again. It was an explosion in my mouth in terms of flavor and taste. I am in my early 20s, and yet it took me this look to realize just how much I was missing.“

The team here really stands out — friendly, attentive, and always welcoming. Of course, the coffee is consistently great (as you’d expect from Starbucks), but it’s the people and atmosphere that make the real difference.

“I thought this location had a drive thru after passing the building a few times. It appears to but does not. With small kids I prefer a drive thru so I don't have to unpack everyone to pick up a coffee but overall the staff were nice and the coffee was good. Would be more enjoyable if you can go sit and enjoy the outdoors without kids ?

Parking: There is a large lot with a lot of spots. Should be no problem finding parking here.“

“I tried this location for the first time and was impressed. The service was quick and friendly and the store was clean and organized. I happened to meet Shaely the store manager and she was super friendly and answered any questions I had about Starbucks. Shaely and her staff are great! I live in Normal Heights but will come to this location from now on. A+“

“Eric came to save the day. The drive through has a brick wall that was a little bit of a tight fit for my dually truck. “The staff couldn’t be friendlier. They actually appear to enjoy working here. The space is beautiful with a wall that opens to the street so lots of fresh air. I was eating there so they gave me my drink in an actual glass instead of plastic.“

“I like this store but my one complaint is the fact that in the bathrooms when you press down on the water in sink it keeps running…. Even when I try to pull knob up it doesn’t stop. It’s very wasteful and unsustainable. I’m not sure how long the water keeps running but when I brought it up to barista she said that it was normal and would turn off eventually. “I had the pleasure of interacting with Mel during a recent visit for a meeting. As I was walking out with an iced coffee, she noticed me and kindly offered a free refill—without me even asking. She went out of her way to approach me and offer something thoughtful and unexpected. In today’s world, genuine interactions like that are rare. Major kudos to Mel. Starbucks should do everything they can to keep her—she’s a true asset. I really appreciated the experience.“

“The employees at this location is very friendly and they go beyond service to help you get the drink right on the spot and I would recommend coming here, I've never had a issue and they always have time to chat with you. I also want to mention Omar, Luis and Minh who are hard workers and are very friendly.“

“Located in a somewhat hidden plaza, it's still popular with many people walking here on weekdays. The staff makes the drink pretty fast. The building structure is somewhat old but the decorations inside are pretty warming. The wall is decorated with photos from local dogs, they are cute and make me feel grateful. “It's Starbucks. They are mostly the same, good service, good drinks. Their food isn't great and they have lost a lot of selection, which means there is little selection.

Kid-friendliness: Great place for the kids to come and visit their friends!!

Parking: Please be nice when looking for parking. Don't pull into someone's space when you clearly can see someone in waiting.Also the drive thru has 1 line into it. It enters (if you are in line, from south of the gas station) please #be kind and don't cut in front of someone for your "coffee emergency". That's not nice and that's NOT accepted in our Neighborhood. Thank you ?

“Good starbucks location with good ambiance and plenty of space the sit. Good outdoor seating as well. They do seem to have a very limited supply of food and snack options by midday compared to other locations. They even tend to run out of basic snack and pastry items.“

“I asked for a surprise hot coffee. The guy with the beanie was legendary. The drink i got and service was amazing. Super happy with how it turned out. “My go to starbucks but I like it more before. Now you can't pickup your order in store most of the time. My Macha taste better before as well. Parking is difficult to find , if you're new to this branch you mind get confused about the drive thru entrance too.“

“We stopped in to try the cinnamon dolce latte and oh my goodness!!! We got 1 hot and 1 iced. Both were very good. Was really surprised that it was sooo good made with almond milk and only 9 grams of sugar and whether hot or cold. Customer service here was Great!!! We were serviced very quickly! “What a great bunch of people. I come here every morning for 3 years and I look forward to seeing them each morning. However we moved so I don't get to see them as often but I make the drive here from Chula Vista as often as I can because no Starbucks matches this “

“I visit this location often and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. One staff member in particular stands out above all. His name is Raul, and he is not only friendly, professional, and consistent he is in my opinion the best employee at the three Starbucks locations that I frequent. “A nice urban Starbucks right off University Ave. Baristas were very attentive and polite. I went around 3p and it wasn't that busy.I got a double strength cold brew (24oz) and was definitely feeling it after. Clean all around.The only downside is that there is tons of construction on University Ave for like 6 blocks and it's very hard to access the store via car. If you take the bus it's no worry, 2 blocks.5 stars for everything, 1 star for the city of San Diego and their bad construction procedures.

“I go here all the time, they are usually busy every morning during the weekdays as it is in a business and commercial area. Weekends are cool because it is very quiet and I will bring my kids for a mini date. The employees are always great and the coffee is always good. Service is very quick through the drive through as well. Also recommended the potato and chives egg bites from any Starbucks, something about them are very good!“

“Winderful abd friendly baristas. However, this is the only Starbucks that I have been to where we have to yell in order to speak to the person next to you because the music is so loud. I asked if they could turn it down, they immediately took action and lower the music level. They really take care of the customers. It’s a great location with lots of outdoor seating, handful of indoor seating. Great for the mild weather.“

“Since moving to Talmadge from Bankers Hill, this has become my new go-to Starbucks location. The staff here are always friendly and welcoming, which makes every visit enjoyable. It tends to get busy in the mornings, so ordering ahead is a smart idea if you’re in a rush. I usually get a venti iced Americano, and it’s consistently made perfectly every time. However, I’ve noticed the price has increased by $1.30 at least within the last year or so, which is a bit frustrating. Despite the prices continuing to increase, the great service is worth it.“
