“The food and service were amazing! We want to especially thank the server that served us today. He went above and beyond to answer our questions and share more about the Burmese food culture and the right pronunciation of the dishes. We tried the tea leaf salad, white peas palata, and the Shwe Taung noodles with tofu, and the flavors were so different and so delicious! This was my first time trying Burmese food and it will not be my last.

“Very good sandwiches at Calabria Brothers. I had their pastrami sandwich w/Swiss cheese $13 and a roast beef sandwich w/Swiss cheese $13 both on Dutch crunch bread. The bread wasn't that crunchy. That's a sign that the bread is fresh. I asked for everything and tomatoes were not included. Otherwise, it was great.“

“The most lovingly-made and delicious sandwich around. Had a Reuben, husband had an executive club, both were perfect. The Dutch crunch they use is excellent - toasted to perfection with a great crunch and chew. Looks like it’s run by a sweet older couple who were the absolute nicest. “Wonderful experience with the Revel meal delivery! The food was DELICIOUS and prepared perfectly. The whole family (including 5 kids) enjoyed it! The menu was creative and I could customize our order - double orders of protein and single orders of vegetables. They provided a touchless delivery with all of the items clearly labeled with ingredients (in case someone in your house is dealing with allergies) and clear instructions on how to finish the preparation. And to top it off, not only was the delivery on time, they texted me with a 20-minute heads up text so I would know exactly when my delivery would be on my door stop. For me, I was grateful for that extra effort so our food didn’t sit out in the sun.“

“Met up with some friends to try out Indian Oven and wasn't disappointed. We had Tandori Chicken, Chana Masala, and a Lamb dish in a cashew sauce (forgot the name). All had different flavors and were delicious. Spice levels were good and not overpowering. Everything was cooked to order and we even watched as the kitchen hand rolled our Naan. Prices were extremely reasonable for today's climate. We spent about $60 for 3 people to all eat till we were full and even took home a container of food. I'll definitely go back and/or order takeout from them. If you are looking for something different from the usual burgers and chicken sandwiches, give the Indian Oven a try.

Parking: This is located in Lower Haight and street parking is limited. There are however a lot of transit options to get here. The Church Muni station is a few blocks away as well as the J/N lines on Church/Duboce. Also lots of busses like the 22 and 7 go right by here.“
