“A community staple!! Been in the bay since the 80s. My parents used to go to their Berkeley & SF locations as a young couple, and I grew up going to their Walnut Creek & Berkeley locations. I may be biased being from the bay, but these are the best crepes I’ve EVER had (and I’ve been to France > 5 times). And the owner is the GOAT!“

“My husband and I were eating across from here and my husband said look there’s crepes place I said let’s go after we eat and we did First time being here and There’s so many choices you can add ice cream to your crepe I love that I would definitely love to go back try it their different crepes they have . “I’ve been coming here for about a decade now, back when you could actually sit and eat inside! It’s grab-and-go now, but the crepes are still just as delicious and always hit the spot. My favorite is the Black & White crepe, and I always ask for strawberries and ice cream on the side. It’s definitely one of my guilty pleasures! The people are also so kind and welcoming. A longtime favorite of mine.“

“This place is awesome. I went in and told Moe I wanted a classic. He set me up with the Tunisian bread and a prosciutto sandwich with the cheese melted on top. There’s a spicy sauce that’s put on. It really adds to the flavor. Moe couldn’t have been nicer. He even came outside and checked with me to make sure it was great. I’ll be back with my son soon. Thank you, Moe“

“Holy Cow! We came to see a concert and stopped for lunch. My finicky son said it was the best bacon burger he ever had. I got the Cheesesteak. I am from the east coast and know cheesesteak. this one was phenominal!! only able to eat half but the other half will get eaten. props to your place for making 2 travelers so happy!! thank you!!“

“had one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time at High Grounds Coffee House in Glen Park. I had the best omelette of my life here, made with spinach, olives, and mushrooms. I never would have thought to add olives to an omelette, but it added such an amazing depth of flavor. It came with a generous side of roasted potatoes, greens, and toast, and every component was cooked perfectly.

I also tried the chai, which was unique and genuinely delicious, not your typical cafe chai. On top of the incredible food, the owner/chef was incredibly kind and welcoming. You can tell they really care about what they’re putting out. Can’t recommend this place enough, already planning my next visit!“

“I had a fabulous banana, nutella crepe and an excellent vanilla latte here. The staff were super friendly and service was fast. They need more tables though - we had to sit next to the trash bin at a tiny table which we had to wait for someone else to vacate.
But I would absolutely eat here again for the standard of the food and coffee!“

“Visiting from out of state and I have a hard time finding taro flavored stuff outside of tea. But their taro bread was absolutely delicious. I got this chocolate bread too which was divine. Their prices are really great as well! Truly a hidden gem in SF.“

“This is definitely a place you should stop and grab a bite or some coffee while you are in the city. It just happened to be across the street from our hotel so we gave it a chance. Im so glad we did. The mocha was SO good. The breakfast burrito was perfect size and the chicken sausage they use in it was really flavorful. Staff was friendly and service was quick. The windowsills were a little grubby but the rest of the place was very clean and staff was wiping stuff down the whole time we were there. Just a really nice little place.“

Our favorites from their Savory Menu: the #3 Ham and Cheese Crepe and #11 California (imitation crab) Crepe (I add Avocado to these) and from their Sweet Menu: Green Tea Crepe and the Banana/Strawberry Nutella Crepe! Sophie’s Crepes is definitely a Yum destination for our family💕!“
