“We stopped here out of the blue and was able to get a nice table outside. Jaewon was our waitress and so sweet - so helpful- we would come back just for her! Andreas was also great and very friendly and helpful. The food and drink was incredible as well. A gem in downtown Willowglen. ✨️“

“Everyone is friendly, Scotty & Nicholai (Sp.), great drinks!“
“An earlier review was complaining about the holes and I was dumbfounded. Yes it's freaking inside which limits space but the course uses the space so well. The holes were so fun! I liked the non traditional holes - I mean this isn't Pebble Beach - it's freaking mini golf!
We went day drinking here and played the full 18 holes. I was a bit disappointed in the drink options - the non-alcoholic ones sounded so good - so I ordered one of those with a shot.
Parking can be found right around the corner. Or the light rail goes right by ...“

“We really enjoyed our first trip to this charming small eatery in downtown San Jose. Tucked away on Post north of First St., without obvious signage, The Club can be hard to find, but is worth the search. The craft cocktails were creative, interesting, and delicious. The Kale salad was a large serving, with a tasty house made dressing and a variety of fresh ingredients. The Short Ribs are were tender moist and delicious, served over a small serving of parsnip purée. My seafood pasta was deliciously sauced with generous portions of shrimp and salmon, though a little more pasta would have been nice. Crème Brûlée was delicious. Prices are moderate, appropriate for quality. Service was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful,. Decor is minimalist but tasteful. Overall very enjoyable, a good time was has by all!“

“Amazing food. Amazing place. Amazing people.
Really loved everything we had - highlight is Salmon Benedict.
But the servers were sweetest I have seen in the states. We will definitely come back sooner. Lucky to have this place finally in our area. ❤️“

“Stevie's Bar & Grill in San Jose isn't just a bar, it's a sanctuary for the soul and a paradise for beer enthusiasts. Each time I return to San Jose, Stevie's is my go-to spot, a reliable haven where the beer flows as freely as the good times. With a draft beer selection that's second to none, Stevie's is like a grand library of brews, each one a story waiting to be savored. The attentive staff elevates the experience, making sure your glass is never empty and your spirits are always high. The vibe here is electric yet welcoming, a perfect backdrop for the delectable snackable treats they serve. And if you're in a crunch for time, the adjacent laundromat turns a chore into a chance for relaxation – sip and savor while you spin and rinse! Stevie's is more than a bar; it's a clever twist on the traditional, a gem that makes San Jose shine a little brighter.“

“This place has soul for days... the music that comes out of this place is exceptional, true to the New Orleans style and approachability. I almost want to keep this gem to myself, but music is free and should he shared. A nod to the kitchen for their solid command of New Orleans cuisine, a fav for me is the catfish po' boy. Tuesday night open mic night? I'm there. Can't say enough about this beautiful place. I am grateful for always feeling completely welcome.“

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Brunch at Eos & Nyx was such a treat. Every dish felt thoughtful and well-balanced, and it’s clear the kitchen really cares about how flavors and textures come together.
I started with the Deviled Eggs (smoked salmon, trout roe, allium) and they were a perfect opener. The filling was silky with a subtle smoky richness from the salmon, and the trout roe added these fun little pops of briny flavor. The fried onions brought just the right crunch to tie everything together.
I had a mini drink adventure next. The server kindly brought me a sample of the Peanut Butter & Jelly Time, which truly tasted exactly like peanut butter and jelly (impressive, but a full glass might have been too much for me!). I ended up ordering Trix Aren’t For Kids (gin, trix, rice milk, ginger, passionfruit, cream, lemon, egg white) and it was fantastic—smooth, bright, slightly creamy, and surprisingly easy to drink.
For my main I had the Stuffed French Toast (lemon mousse, billionaire’s bacon, infused maple, cinnamon, sugar). The toast itself was incredibly light and fluffy with just the right level of sweetness. The lemon mousse added a bright, creamy lift that balanced everything nicely. And the billionaire’s bacon created that perfect sweet-and-savory combo. The flavors were so good on their own that I barely needed the maple syrup.
My only small critique: the butter pad was frozen rather than softened, so it didn’t spread or melt the way you’d hope on warm French toast. A tiny detail, but one that would elevate an already great dish.
Service was friendly and attentive, and overall the meal felt worth the price (about $71 with a 25% tip). The only other note is that the music inside was pretty loud—great energy if you’re brunching with friends, but maybe a bit much if you’re hoping to quietly read while you eat like I was.
Overall, another great experience at Eos & Nyx. Their dinners are already standout, and brunch definitely holds its own. I’d happily come back and order the exact same thing again.“

“Wish I lived closer so I could come back sooner. Lunch special is a mini pizza and side salad or cup of soup. Enjoyed everything and excited to have my leftovers later. (Gave 1 less star because the clam chowder was mostly broth but it was delicious)“

“We were looking for a place to eat because the food at the hotel was extremely expensive. We didn’t want to pay those prices, so we found this little Mexican gem close to the hotel—and we’re so glad we did.
There was no wait, the prices were very reasonable, and the service was quick, friendly, and prompt. The restaurant was clean and had a welcoming atmosphere.
We ended up walking there, which worked out well because parking on the street is very limited. If you’re looking for good Mexican food that’s served quickly and at a fair price, I would definitely recommend this place.“

“The moment I sat down, the bartender made the whole place feel welcoming with genuinely friendly service. The menu surprised me in the best way-creative American and Asian fusion dishes that taste just as good as they look. Prices lean a little higher, but the quality absolutely matches what you’re paying for.
The food hits the spot, the atmosphere is relaxed, and it’s a perfect place to bring someone for a casual date or a quick, tasty meal. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“I discovered the place by accident. I was next door inside Michaels having some art pieces custom framed when I decided to look for a place to stop by to eat. I was starving. I was craving for pasta. And thats how I got to discover this place. I ordered the chicken fettucine alfredo. Love the dish with its chunky chicken pieces and al dente pasta. The complimentary cheese sticks with that cheese pimiento cheese spread was a delightful surprise. Next time Ill check their lasagna and clam chowder. I heard their clam chowder is as good as Boulins in San Francisco. I dont have to make a drive to the city to enjoy a good bowl of chowder. The lasagna looks so rich as well as their chopino. Im definitely comjng back.“
“We've attended 2 RnB Brunch events. I liked the atmosphere and guests were all in good spirits. Food choices were of variety, but for Brunch I wish it was more choices/combos. Pancake by itself isn't really ideal. Ordering each thing individually is costly. We had to request for our drinks to be remade a few times. Also, we were brought out so much food that wasn't ours and when we tried to get a receipt, but our waitress was gone. I was stick with a very high bill of items we didn't order. Overall we appreciate that the events allowed children they had an awesome time dancing!“

“The food was really good. The service staff was kind but they are super slow. I've been to this restaurant a couple of times and I've noticed that the other times as well. It's OK. I just considered them very chill but do not go if you're in a hurry.“

“Updated review: After a very disappointing experience late last year, Justin (General Manager) reached out right away to understand what happened and invited us back. I’m really glad we gave The Pressroom another try because the difference was night and day.
This visit was excellent from start to finish. Charles (our server) was knowledgeable, attentive, and especially helpful with dietary restrictions, which we really appreciated. The food, drinks, service, and ambiance were all on point.
I always respect a business that takes feedback seriously and follows through. That was absolutely the case here. Huge improvement, and we’ll be back.“

“Rustic bar with some fun theming. Love the exposed brick and old timey paintings on the wall. Great speedy service- order at the bar. We tried their seasonal cocktails- the Christmas menu is still on as of Jan. The drinks were good- espresso martini was a bit too sweet. Would recommend the fruity options than creamy. The cocktails were not super memorable but love the variety offered for all liquor types: Whiskey, vodka, rum, etc. Standard bar bites and some IPAs/beers on tap.
No wait at 7pm on weeknights. Little dark makes reading the menu a bit tough- would be great to have some lamps around. Good for small groups or couples.“
