“Very friendly owner. Offered 5% discount on cash payments. We ordered 3 dishes. Kaokao chicken, char siu over rice, and beef brisket noodle soup. The star of the meal was the char siu over rice. We’ll reorder that for sure. The beef brisket’s soup was soy sauce forward, my husband enjoyed the noodle but it was a tad too soft for me. The kaokao chicken is very well cooked, moist chicken, but it was a confused dish imo, so it is not a dish we would reorder. Overall good tasting food, we’d come back for the char siu. The restaurant was very smokey, and it stuck to my body and clothes all day after. So I would not come here before going anywhere important, so you’ll smell of bbq.“

If you’ve been missing your Korean Gopchang/intestines you had in SoCal, this is the spot to try! The portion is decent and flavor is there! Also love that there’s potato slices in there!
To avoid long lines, come during off hours like 3pm~ They don’t take same day reservations.

Cold buckwheat noodles are 9/10
Soy sauce garlic chicken 7/10 (wish they weren’t full of fried batter clumps and wanted just wings)

“This is my favorite spot to catch a game while enjoying incredible BBQ and drinks.The barbecue here is the real deal, the beef brisket sandwich and crispy tacos are my go to’s and the sides like the oxtail poutine are pure comfort food. They have a fully stocked bar with an excellent selection of beers on tap and an extensive selection of bourbons and whisky’s. More importantly they have a Toki Highball machine!! The staff is super friendly and even remembers your drink of choice! Go check this place out!“

“I'm not a fan of spicy food, but I am a fan of flavorful and delicious food! This place is the real deal, and worth EVERY dime spent. I can customize my food by asking for nothing spicy... and they comply! However, I must say that I'm addicted to the Crab Fried Rice!!! I don't have to customize any of it. I was even brave enough to order the Tom Tom soup which is Hot and Sour soup. This soup is a tasty medicinal soup for any stomach issues or cold and flu issues. What I like the most about this soup 🍲 is that my feet are dancing while I am basking in this flavorful dish You owe it to yourself to get wrapped up in the warmth and and flavorful aroma while healing your body and soul. I call this soup "A vacation in a bowl" and I challenge anyone to step up and try it, You'll thank me mm for the recommendation 😎👍. Takes me back to the days before LSD, long hair and psychedelic music., when surfers were renegades, teenagers raced on the Great Highway and rock and rock was recorded on 2 tracks.

“I drove from Vallejo to try this place and boy was I disappointed. starting with the 90$ meal, the meat was so dry I could not even eat it The pulled pork tasted like sawdust, the ribs were dry,and the brisket and tri tip are horrible. the potato salad was very loose, and the green beans were burnt, had I lived in the area I would have brought it all back. fix the issues word of mouth can truly hurt your business. because I am writing this review on multiple sights.“

“I’ve always ordered the teriyaki plate with Mac salad and did order something for others and this place makes the best Hawaiian teriyaki reminded me of the flavors back home on Hawaii and there is a Moku’s back home and I appreciate the food from Moku Berkeley! “Some of the best BBQ I've had since moving to California. Not cheap but worth the money. Ribs are especially good. Great potato salad. The best BBQ sauce I've ever had. Worth the price of the food just for that sauce. Get it medium - just the right heat on it. We spent $100 on 5 hungry adults last time I was there. Enough to fill us up. Everybody loved it.“

“Best Hawaiian bbq on the main land and most Hawaii. Everything here is perfect. Bbq chicken and teri pork unbelievable flavor. Saiman , volcano chicken, masubis,shrimp what ever you order will be amazing. Great serving size been coming here for years my family loves this place. “Tried this local Salvadoran spot in Richmond and really enjoyed it. I ordered two beef tacos and an authentic Salvadoran-style horchata, and everything was on point. The tacos were flavorful, well-seasoned, and made fresh, and the horchata tasted homemade—not overly sweet and very refreshing. You can tell this is a family-run place that cares about the quality of their food. Always happy to support local businesses like this. I’ll definitely be coming back.“

“My dad used to drink there in the 1980s and the Asian husband and wife couple who owned the bar bought him a last drink and told him never to come backThe bar was closed for about 10 or 20 years in the 1990s and the 2000sMy favorite part of the bar is spinning the wheel and trying my luck at free drinks cuz half the time it's a l**** deal but half the time it's a winner deal it's a nice bar most people are really coolFor a while they had a 8-bit Nintendo system and I'd play Castlevania and Super Mario Bros over and over again but they do have some arcade games and pinball games really nice“

“Went to dinner with a few of my lady friends after seeing a show in the city, this was the perfect ending to a phenomenal day. I had the crab cakes and they were delish, a couple of people in my group had the fried chicken/fried catfish combo and that looks delicious as well. I highly recommend Lizzy’s Cajun Cafe.“

“Easy ordering, fast prep, tons of food. The place is cost effective and will satisfy even the bigger eaters.
There are several large indoor tables that can accommodate large groups. The same is true outdoors in front of the restaurant.
The pace caters to students and dies a good job. The food is abundant and simple. Solid choice but don't expect a sophisticated food experience.“

“I ordered two items through DoorDash, and at $27 with promotion, being able to sample three different protein options felt like a great value :-)
The rice portion was a bit on the generous side, but overall the bowl was well balanced. Personally, I’d love to see a little less rice and a bit more salad and japchae, it would make the meal feel even more satisfying and thoughtfully composed. I also wish each protein came with its own vegetables rather than just the meat, and adding more vegetables to the japchae would make the dish feel even fresher and more complete.
As for the proteins, the chicken portion was quite generous. The pork and bulgogi felt noticeably smaller in comparison, so that’s something to keep in mind when choosing your protein combination.
Overall, it’s a flavorful and reasonably priced meal with a nice variety of proteins, making it a solid option if you’re looking to try a little bit of everything :)“

“Great Chinese food with authentic taste. They have a hotel next door which is connected to the restaurant and they are open till midnight. If you want great Chinese kebab, noodles, rice dishes, seafood, and dumplings. This is the place to be! Food is cooked fast and they accept card and cash. Will be coming back for the authentic and delicious Chinese spot next to Berkeley!“

“I’m really happy you guys reopened but I’m upset. The macaroni salad is my favorite thing about this place. I don’t know who chaged the recipe but Change it back immediately or make it right. Too watery and too tangy. Tastes like Mayo soup.

“I ordered 22 individual meals for a company lunch. The food was prepared, boxed, and ready to go in less than an hour. They made sure to write who's food belonged to which employee on their boxes, and went over my checklist with me more than once to make sure nothing had been missed.
My staff loved the food and I received many comments about how good it was. I would rate this business higher than a 5 if I could.

“This restaurant needs to be rated much higher! I've used them 3 times for family gatherings and they've been great. I usually order about 5 trays of meats, macaroni salad (get extra - so good), and some musubis. Everything is delicious and hot, and service is fantastic.“

“New ghost kitchen at Adeline Food Hall. I ordered the Large Mixed Plate via DoorDash. I picked bbq chicken and fried chicken. Plate came with mac salad and rice. The chicken is laying on a bed of rice. Prices are higher than Ono Hawaiian BBQ, and portions are slightly smaller. But it's delicious food and served fresh! 4-stars.“
