They were also great at checking for my allergens, even during a busy time. I ordered the smoked bbq sandwich and loved every bite. Their food is proof that this spot carefully selects their ingredients and doesn’t compromise on flavor. My vegan friend ordered the pyrgi and swapped the chicken for tofu. “I've been going to the Dublin and Livermore Sourdough sandwich shop since they opened. The food is always great, as is the service. Since I live in Livermore, I go to this place almost daily. The owners are so nice and always greet customers when they come in. I had them cater a huge pickleball event for our Tri-Valley Pickleball Club and they did an outstanding job. I highly recommend them as the premier sandwich shop in Livermore and the Tri-Valley.“
“I am an out of towner and was looking for a place to catch the Eagles game. Some friends told me about this bar so I gave it a shot. George & Walt's is in a great are and the place was very diverse. There were plenty of TVs airing all sorts of games and pool tables. The bar is cash only (set to change soon) with tons of drinks specials. The bartenders were friendly and quick to check in. I was happy to have so many food options at this dive like bar. Everything came out delicious and the service was incredible!“

Pick up times are accurate, if you arrive very early they have beautiful cookbooks to page through. Service is excellent. Once I found parking right in front. More often arrived at pickup time, order was ready, back in car in less than 5 minutes. Also, parking on west side of 23rd just north of Macdonald. There are fewer spots on east side of 23rd because of curb cutouts for the large McDonald's parking lot. (And if you see a hint there, OK.)“

They dont wash their hands enough between touching the cash register and your food3. They dont have a drop plate under the drink dispenser and spill liquid on the floor, which is carpeted. I can only imagine the number of germs that spread. And seeing ine waitress pick something up off the floor and toss it out without washing her hands after, worried me.Improving these few things would make this place even better than it is. The staff were all friendly and helped each other. I worked in the hospitality industry before the pandemic, and I know how important it is to provide great customer service. The food was excellent. We ordered Cobb salads, three different types of fries and I enjoyed a salmon burger. My daughter had a great hamburger. “I like La Val's a lot, and if you (like me) want cheap pizza, it's a good choice. Sometimes it's not the most delicious slice and sometimes the service can be less than perfect, but that's not really what I come here for. It just has that great campus atmosphere and good, casual eats.“

I had the vegetable ramen and it appears to be the only ramen dish that don't use pork broth. For $12.99 it was a tasty bowl of portions.
