“The atmosphere is basic but the sandwiches are stellar. He’s about to close the shop so go get one before he retires. I’m from socal and miss a good, traditional, Vietnamese Sandi! Anytime I’m passing through or in San Rafael, I stop and grab a couple.“

“Before today I was certain that there were no good Vietnamese restaurants in Marin. Then I tried Pho. What a find.
Very simple basic menu, but everything was perfect. Flavorful, fresh, generously sized, good service. Everything was right. We are talking San Francisco - San Jose level of excellence for Vietnamese food. I used to think you had to go to the City to find great Vietnamese food, But now we have it local here in San Rafael. The other Vietnamese restaurants around town can't even compare. This restaurant is now on my short list. Coming back. Five star.“

“Went here due to the 5 star rating and wow, it earns every single one. The bread here is the best bahn mi bread I've ever had on a sandwich, the pork is juicy and the cost is insanely economical. For 2 sandwiches and a Vietnamese iced coffee my total was 20 even (cash highly suggested to keep cost low!). The veggies were fresh and the portion was perfect. I would absolutely say this may very well be one of the best bahn Mis in the Bay area. I live in SF and grew up in the East Bay and bahn Mis are one of my faves so I'm constantly looking. The only thing wrong with this place is how far it is from my house. I will only come here any time I cross the bridge. Yes, it is that good of a deal; Bite for bite, this is not only a cheap eat, but absolutely delicious. Brought this with me to corte Madera and someone stopped and asked where I got the sandos, and I had to tell them I got them from a city over haha! They look, smell, feel and taste incredible. Oh and the coffee is solid too! Loved every part of this meal to the last bite/sip.“

“From the moment I walked in, I knew this place was special. The aroma of simmering broth instantly pulled me in, and every bite lived up to the promise. The pho was perfection — rich, fragrant, and full of depth, with tender slices of beef and perfectly cooked noodles. You can taste the care and tradition in every spoonful.
Whether you’re a pho fanatic or trying it for the first time, this is the place to go. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again!“

“Ordering is done via a pad - no cash! And : NO TOILET. That is had. And it is a dine in location. I thought that is a requirement. Also, traditional banh mi is $11.50 but if you order it, it has a $1 surcharge for a traditional banh mi. Makes no sense and seems like a scam. Place is nicely designed. Clean. Wait is a bit longer than in comparable places. Food is good. It won some BEST OF MARÍN awards. The announcement that your meal is ready is done HOA a DMV like loud announcement….“

“Best broth ever! I door dashed the rare steak and brisket (pho tai chin) for lunch today, it was amazing 😫 I had been feeling a little sick all day and I think this broth cured me. I want to buy the broth and just drink it. Also when it got delivered to me the broth was hot and they included plenty of toppings, some sauce, a lime slice, and utensils with a napkin. Very yummy thank you very much for the delicious meal. 😊“

“The impossible laarb banh mi was so spicy but full of flavor. Super happy that the boba drink was available with oat milk, it helped relieve the burn from the delicious banh mi. Theres beautiful parks in Fairfax downtown that are walking distance, plus this would be the perfect thing to grab for a jaunt to Pt Reyes or other outdoor trails nearby.“

“Banh Mi Zon in Mili Valley is an absolute gem! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, from the crispy, perfectly baked banh mi to the refreshing drinks. The bread is outstanding — freshly baked, perfectly crunchy on the outside, and soft on the inside.
The fillings are always fresh, generous, and packed with flavor. The blend of savory meats, rich paté, fresh cilantro, and the perfectly tangy pickled carrots and daikon creates a symphony of textures and tastes that is impossible to beat. It’s a fantastic value for the quality and size you get.
Beyond the food, the staff is always quick, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Whether you're grabbing lunch to go or stopping in for a quick bite, the experience is always top-notch. If you haven't been, you're truly missing out. Get there immediately!“

“The spicy beef and pork pho heat turned down is my favorite. The potstickers are back to corte madera level. Prices are very fair. My daughter makes ua come up 20’mins north and its still worth it. A nice jewel on Grant Ave to enjoy. The Lychee Pork (or Chicken) and the Fish Pot are also fantastic.“

“Finally, good service, great portions, reasonable price. Might be my new go-to spot for Vietnamese, and I’ve tried almost everything in the area. The broth was yummy and they don’t skimp on ingredients like I’ve seen other places nearby do.“
