“We’re from out of town but were craving some good fish tacos. TJ’s did not disappoint! We got the octopus, ahi tuna, garlic shrimp, taqueso shrimp, and smoked tuna tacos. The octopus and smoked tuna were our favorites! Our server was extremely helpful and provided great service.“

“Ordered the fish tacos, huge tacos, absolutely delicious with everything on it. Also ordered the shrimp quesadilla...huge portion, also delicious great flavors. I'm giving it 4 stars because the salsas were horrible. They are placed where the sun hits and so it smelled a bit sour, not fresh or good for my liking. I asked for fresh refrigerated salsa n got the same watered-down habanero salsa. I tried it because i need the spiciness but honestly it just made my tortilla soggy n messy. Please work on your salsas and i will change from a 4 to a 5 star review. I will be back in a couple weeks.“

“Best place I have been to in years, and I eat out at least 4 times a week. Amazing food and best service! Eloquent and trendy decor but no stuffy white table cloths. I usually cringe at the meet presentation but don't at this one. Wine selection was very very impressive, 77 pages and something for everyone!!! So good, I am going back tomorrow night.“

“May 2024. Not as good as last year. Hit and miss. The inside ambience was certainly lacking with "white out" and a painted table. The service was nice, but it was slow and discombobulated. It took forever to get our 1st drinks and forever to get our bill. The sequencing of bringing out our food was poor as well. The food was mostly good. Standouts included the octopus and several of the potato dishes. Misses included the oysters (too small) and scallops (small portion, salty, and overcooked). Be sure to order the lamb on the rare side - I ordered MR and it came out M+. They were out of the 1st two wines we ordered, and the wine list wasn't extensive. My biggest gripe was no horseradish. How can you serve oysters, lamb, steak, and Bloody Marys and have no horseradish in the house?!?Vegetarian options: Enough“

“The best Chinese food I've ever had. For real. We ordered the family dinner # 2, it was $22 per person - there was only 2 of us. (I was hungry so no judgment lol). it came with wonton soup, cream cheese wontons, egg rolls, bbq pork for an appetizer. Orange chicken, beef and brocolli and rice (fried or steamed). We also added house noodles since we came with our toddler and also I was hungry. The family meal itself although it was meant for 2, would have fed 4. We took home enough leftovers to have another full meal and lunch for me :)The orange chicken was by far, best I've had. It was so crispy, I hate when places drench it in sauce and it's soggy... or worse they bread it so much there's a tiny chicken nugget in there. The flavor was also perfect, not too sweet or tangy. The brocolli and veggies in the beef and brocolli and noodles were so fresh and I like my brocolli still a little crunchy, which it was. My son is 2 and half, he LOVED the noodles and the wontons in the soup.The service was FAST, I mean we got our food super quick and they were really nice and kept checking in.Do not miss this this spot! It doesn't look like much from the outside but the food is better than anywhere I've had in a long time!“

“The service was cordial, and the atmosphere was OK. The restaurant smells more like a bar. We had the french toast, which really seemed to be bread dipped in whipped eggs and milk, and grilled in oil. It lacked sweetness and cinnamon. The eggs and bacon we ordered on the side were very good and fresh. Cracker Barrel does a better breakfast.“

“Probably the healthiest grab-and-go option on the beach! Service was fast and friendly. The ceviche was delicious and fresh. The inside of the restaurant was cute and clean, but it's so close to the beach that I found a bench with an ocean view to eat at. I want to try the shrimp tacos next.“

“First made the drive down to Blue Poke for a Yelp event, but came back a few times when I found myself in the area. There are a few other blue pokes that have since opened closer to central San Diego with one in North Park, but I think the quality varies from location to location- this location in National City being the best! First of all, the design of the store is so fun and I could tell it was clean and well maintained. I had a delicious poke bowl with my favorite spicy ahi (minced style). They have a good number of toppings to choose from along with great sauces. This is what I like to call "chipotle style" poke where you build your bowl, but everything was good! Easy parking to grab your bowl for take-out!“

“My first visit here. My Daughter had the salmon salad And I had the beef sandwich with fries. my daughter said that’s the best salmon she ever had. I had to try it got a piece from my daughter and it was delicious.. my sandwich was medium rare just how I like it. Very humble people love the location and atmosphere. People tend to forget this is not a fast food restaurant. I read other comments that it took forever to get your food. Don’t expect a McDonald’s service expect a five star restaurant.. The best thing to do if you’re in a hurry or a crunch of time order ahead. But I like to enjoy my food and take my time because life is too short. I’m in no hurry.. The setting consists of two food trucks, each of which specializes in either Mexican seafood dishes or land and air. The food from both trucks is very tasty. The aguas frescas are very refreshing too. The consome stand is a free for all great addition as a side or enjoy while you wait for your orders to be ready. The staff is super friendly and so are the customers. I always make new friends when I go there.“

The halibut was cooked well, but the Nawlins seasoning was too forced. I was hoping for sea bass, but I didn’t see it on the menu the day we were there. Our server was terrific. “Hubs and I are visiting from Wyoming on our honeymoon. We came to the Tin Fish on our first and last night in San Diego. I would have left 5 stars but both times that we visited they were out of the lobster Mac n cheese. However, the clam chowder in the bread bowl was absolutely amazing both times I had it. My husband had a cheese burger with the crinkle fries and again, both times, fantastic! We are currently visiting restaurants that have great food, good service and probably most important of all a good price. That is the criteria trifecta that we now go by. La Sinaloense has been good to use for a few years but now has become one of the few that we know so far that meet our criteria of a good restaurant. Service is excellent. The ladies that take care of us are so friendly and eager to help you that you can feel it. Sometimes the owner is our server, and you get to talk to her for a little bit. How nice is that. Food is plentiful, well-seasoned and overall delicious. My mom and I visited for breakfast today and told me that the food was great. I agree 100%. Prices are much better than other places. We get so much food and great service for a price that could be 50% to 100% more at other places. We appreciate La Sinaloense has kept prices as low as possible allowing us to visit more often.NEW REVIEW:Early today my wife and I decided to go get some food for breakfast and decided to visit La Sinaloense once again. Currently, you can dine-in or order to go. For us we decided to order to go by placing an order at the outside entrance of the restaurant. I had the steak and eggs and my wife had huevos rancheros plus a couple of coffees. After waiting outside the restaurant our server was nice to deliver our food directly to our vehicle. “This place is a hidden gem for Chinese food! The food is always fast and freshly made. Everything is super flavorful, and very consistent. Whenever I'm craving Chinese food this is THE place I go to. They have a expansive menu, and prices are good for the portions you get! The inside is always clean and well kept. The service here is excellent, as everyone is really nice and attentive! My go tos are the Salt and Pepper Tofu, Veggie Lo Mein, and spicy eggplant! this time I tried out the Orange Chicken which was delicious! “This place was so good! It's not very big The food was very fresh and the portions were bigger than I expected :) We got the special tostada and aguachile. The restaurant didn't look very big but it had a constant flow of people. I saw a lot of people come get takeout so that would be a convenient option. “Live right up the road and have driven by a few times and figured I'd try them out and was not disappointed. Ordered a Surf and Turf Burrito and my friend ordered a Cali Burrito. Mine was insanely good and came out super fast and my friend enjoyed his as well. The prices were reasonable and the atmosphere of the restaurant was very welcoming. You get that "family owned and operated restaurant" vibe which is nice since I can't find many places like that in SD. Lucky to have this place right down the road from where I live. “We went to TJ Oyster for lunch. As soon as we walked we were greeted by the cashier. We ordered a michelada to enjoy a Saturday afternoon. We asked for Pacifico but they were out of it. However, they mentioned that they were about restock and asked if we were willing to wait. The pacifico beers arrived shortly after so we didnt have to wait for the miches too long. We also got a couple of glasses of water but the water tasted a little bit weird. The Micheladas hit the spot. We sat outside since it was a really nice day. The Tuna fries were delicious. They Tuna fries have cilantro, onion, sauce and the fries were perfect. The serving portion is large enough to share between two people. The employees came out to check in on us to see if we needed anything. They were very attentive and friendly. This is definitely one if my favorite seafood places in Chula Vista.“

“We popped in here because we were starving and it was the closest appealing restaurant. What an awesome surprise! The rolled tacos were DELICIOUS! Prices were good and they also have a salsa bar. I was telling the cashier how much we liked our food and she said that they are Made when ordered and prepared fresh, not frozen. My taste buds agree!
