“Had such a great meal here! Staff were incredibly friendly and kind to us, even playing peekaboo with our 8 month old. Food was phenomenal, probably some of the best pho I’ve had in such a long time. Really can’t recommend Pho Kha enough!“
“I love this place! The beef and chicken pho is so yummy along with the egg rolls! The egg rolls are always hot and fresh when I get them; when I eat them with the sweet and sour sauce they give, the tastes blend together well and helps cool the egg rolls down! On the other hand, the pho broth, noodles, and vegetables are always flavorful with the fresh spring onions blending with the broth and juicy meat.I went to their branch in Mira Mesa a lot and this branch in National City brings back precious memories I had with my family when I was younger! They have a bowl of sweet, chewy candy with cherry, mango, green apple, and banana flavored candy in the Mira Mesa branch and I wish they had that too in the national City branch! I'm older now but I would definitely still grab some ?The service was amazing! It was barely busy with them serving just a few tables at a time so I didn't wait long for the waiters to help my fiance and I! :DDD I didn't wait long for the cook to prepare the food either! It was very very fast!! The food came out in under 15 minutes since it wasn't busy! ?“
“Excellent food!!! My favorite is the #13 pho and many other food selections are good too. She is always accommodating- when I requested not to add noodles and replaced with a lot of veggies!!! Other pho places don't have that much veggies added to their pho. Service is top notch, always quick. Mai (owner) have a beautiful smile and greets all her customers with great hospitality. You feel welcomed as soon as you enter the door. She will even remember your order, especially when you're a frequent customer. It's a clean and relaxing atmosphere -it is so important. Last year during my moms passing, she was so kind and generous and we had our family gathering at this place. I can't tell you how grateful I am that she allowed us to have full menu, even when there was only four people working that day. It was a full house and yet Mai her husband and son one other employee went above and beyond, took orders and served our food efficiently and timely. We had so many different orders that was placed. Yet, Mai was at her gracious pace and smile as she kept on moving so swiftly. My families were all pleased with their food choices. They said it was yummy and authentic!!! Thank you again, Do, for always providing delicious dishes and great customer care Your long time customer. This is definitely my go to favorite pho place!!!Many more blessings Mai!!“
“The food is always spot on. The jalapeño poppers are a meal within itself. So good. The combo plate one is also really good the chicken is in really small pieces so all around flavor. The owners are also really friendly which makes it that much better“
“Pretty much a 2 menu option, house special pho and spring rolls. A modern take on traditional pho but not complicated. Broth was amazing. Best I’ve had and I’ve been to some traditional pho places in the OC. 2 large beef ribs gave plenty of meat. The spring rolls were awesome as well as the peanut sauce. The chili sauce was delicious. It’s nestled in National city on the floor level of a new apartment/condo complex.“
“Having been here a handful of times (more than Yelp states) and prior to COVID, during and recently.... employees have been friendly, quick, efficient and accommodating. Seating inside is available or take-out. We finly made it before 6pm, as the buffet closes at 6pm. Therefore we are all able to order different items. The beef and broccoli is one of my favorites. The chow mein is a bit dry, but qith some soy sauce goes down so smooth! The mushroom chicken qas really good, as was the teriyaki chicken and flavorful. The combos are very reasonably priced for the amount of food you receive. This is one of my go-to places in the South Bay to get Chinese food. We will definitely be back as this location is in my routine of places to support.“
“Went here last night for the first time to pick up some Pho and Shrimp Spring Rolls. Extremely kind and pleasant customer service and the Pho and Spring Rolls were the best I have tasted in San Diego! Everything was fresh and delicious!! I have finally found my South-Bay Vietnamese restaurant. Will definitely come back and strongly recommend!!!“
“The service was outstanding! The food was phenomenal. I was visiting from San Francisco and I was amazed at how fresh the food was. The service was very friendly. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant! The salmon, the pho soup, lettuce wrap pickled vegetables was “
“What a lovely, CLEAN, casual atmosphere on 3rd Avenue! The employees are kind and attentive and the food is freshly prepared but... The portions were very disappointing. We enjoyed a very tasty salmon "bento" box but... for $18+ you would expect to get a decent portion of rice to go with the salmon filet (decent portion of salmon but I was struggling to find any rice or Teriyaki sauce on the plate! See picture.) The vegetables were delicious!!! Only two, tiny fried gyoza come on a small bed of mixed salad. The ginger dressing for the salad is served separately and was good but it was so much compared to the amount of salad you get.The actual white plate that the food comes on is huge and adds to the illusion that the food portion is small, which it totally is. It did not scream "bento box."The lemongrass curry sauce on the wings was super yummy even though the wings could have been much crispier. They have canned sodas, canned Thai tea and green tea, Sapporo and other beers.I would reluctantly go back to try some other menu items but I won't expect good portions.“
“Decided to come and try out this new spot close to home and it did not dissapoint!! The sandwiches were very satisfying and filling. The meat choices my husband and I chose had us through the roof. You can tell the owners and chefs put in a lot of care into their food and should be so proud to have this place to share with everyone. The lady up front who greeted us was by far one of the nicest people and gave me a little treat for the road :) loved everything about this experience and can't wait to stop by again!“
“I have been coming here for years and love this place. It is the best pho in San Diego. My favorite is the pho curry chicken amazing dish that will leave you 100% satisfied and then some. Everything else is amazing too. The best part is the people. They are so sweet and nice andthe cook is amazing. And he remembered me after Covid ended and I returned! And my daughter said it was the best pho she’s ever had.“
“Had the Vermicelli w/Egg Roll & BBQ Pork. Came out hot fresh and fast!Only reason for 4 stars is they had a couple of girls that came around singing a song and asking for donations while we were trying to eat. They came to each table with their donation box.I'm here to eat. If I wanted music, I would have gone else where.“
“Love this place. Food is good, drinks are great. Love the kitchy decor. Have had a host a couple times that made me and my group mildly uncomfortable - almost aggressive about the service but the rest of the staff is amazing. I will say that the speak-easy isn't worth the extra hassle. It's cramped and dark and the drinks and food in the main bar are just as good. Order the garlic edamame - they are phenomenal“
“Was craving pho and got meatball pho to go—it was so good! The pho broth was clear, tasty, and nice big portion with all the fixings. Enjoyed it so much came back for another order the next day. I also tried the shrimp fresh roll and these were also delicious. New favorite spot for sure.“
“The vermicelliwith beef and egg rolls was very delicious, had a good serving of shrimp spring roll which was very satisfying. Our friend got the BBQ beef sandwich, she was happy after eating it. Thai tea with Boba was yummy on a warm day. The cashier guy was friendly and fast.“
