“There isn't much going on in la cumbre plaza. Aside from this place and a couple restaurants. This place is definitely better than the other starbucks location in 5 points. That one sometimes has vagrants...This location is decent. There is a ton of parking. Coffee comes pretty quickly. I would 100% use the starbucks mobile app though. It's better than waiting around in the small cramped shop for your coffee to be made. The other good thing about this location is that there are outside tables to sit out and enjoy your coffee. I would have rated it higher if the atmosphere was a little better and if their coffee bean quality was better. All in all it's a typical starbucks.“
“This is definitely a “local neighborhood” Starbucks, serving the Mesa. While this is not the most fancy Starbucks out there, I appreciate that the store is always clean and the service is always excellent. They always get my order correct, and I never have to wait longer than expected regardless of how busy it is. Of course, it’s Starbucks so taste and quality are consistent with other locations.Parking: Free parking lot for shopping center patrons. Can be busy but you can usually find a spot pretty easily.“
“Nice employees, they clean constantly. You might run into Rob Lowe, Charlie Puth, Katie Perry, Kathy Ireland, Oprah, Kevin Costner etc. and it's by the beach. So you get a salty cool breeze every once in awhile. They keep the patio pretty clean. All in all it's a nice spot, not local—but a good experience.“
“Great location with a lot of parking available. Got a nice hot cup of mint tea after dinner nearby. My husband got a cappuccino which he enjoyed much. Lots of indoor seating and a few tables outside. The service was ok. Great Christmas merchandise for sale.“
“This Starbucks rocks!!! The employees are really friendly and my drink is almost always made exactly the way it should be, they are very good at making drinks to the proper standard here. I've never waited for an excessive amount of time even when they are busy. I like how much seating there is and they have a wonderful outdoor patio. They are welcoming to my dog, too. This location is where I usually choose to walk my dog even though it is a bit further from me than the State & Victoria location--it is totally worth it to come here for a better experience.“
“Starbucks is Starbucks. The place is definitely wants to go if you just wanna have a leisure time. I feel relaxed, sitting there watching people come and go. The only thing is the coffee like latte or cappuccino tastes like milk like elsewhere. I don’t know why , so the best choice is to go there and order a black coffee or iced coffee with a little bit sugar and milk. This will be my choice where ever in a Starbucks caffe“
“really good if you go to the right location. the way your drinks are made aren't very consistent. at one location it can be really good but at another, you could be disappointed. Customer service can also vary. Ive ran into a couple passive cashiers and others with smiles on their faces. Overall I like the Starbucks menu and it's so good I get the same drink every time.“
“I'm only giving 4 stars for the young lady who made my coffee. When we walked in she smiled and said welcome. Even though she was very busy. The guy who took my order Tommy. Was rude and not welcoming at all. It's like he hates his job. There are alot of people who don't like or hate there job, but it's not the customers fault. He has very poor customer service stills.“
“Great location. They are super quick. I have definitely been in line behind lots of people and they are very quick and efficient. It's easy to come here during a break or lunch for a coffee or snack! Also has a great view of the lagoon!“
“Haha, I also had Victor as my register person (barista). He had my order ready to go in seconds. I ordered a caramel macchiato but then when I stirred the drink, Victor informed me that I could have saved money by ordering a caramel latte instead. Awesome advice, thanks Victor!“
“I was delighted by the customer service I received this morning from Nate and Sofia. Even though they seemed slammed with mobile and drive through orders, Nate took my walk in order with expediency and a smile. They paid personal attention to me and the other guests I saw waiting for their mobile orders, and got me my drink (with all of the customizations correct) much faster than I expected given their rush.“
“Good lighting, lots of space, comfortable outdoor area. It’s exactly what you would expect from a chain coffee shop. Plenty of people quietly tapping away at laptops. The single stall bathrooms are clean and locked with a code. Years ago when this was a Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf the Santa Barbara Go Club met here weekly. They may still do so.“
