“My favorite place for jajangmyeon! Don’t miss the tangsuyuk and jjamppong. Stir-fried jajangmyeon is great for larger groups due to its portion size.
The line gets long during lunch and dinner, so arrive early. The parking lot is small, but there's usually street parking nearby.
Service is quick and efficient, and they’ll box up any leftovers for you.“

“Hands down one of the best ramen I ever had. The tonkotsu ramen is amazing, tasty yet not-too-gravy broth, chewy noodles, refreshing sprouts and veggies, and on top of all, real good chashu pork, much unlike any bland pork slices elsewhere. Great service and fair price. Highly recommended, though do remember to reserve online prior to your arrival.

Update, service degraded a lot since original visit. Probably because they enforce a 15% flat rate tip, so customer satisfaction is no longer relevant.“

“I was misled by this restaurant’s name for a long time—I always thought it was a Chinese restaurant. But when I finally came here, I realized it’s actually a Korean one. My husband used to come here often before the pandemic.
Their black bean noodles are delicious, but that’s not really what I want to talk about. What truly stands out isn’t just the food, but the service. In today’s Bay Area, especially among Asian restaurants, it’s rare to encounter genuine service. You often end up tipping for people who simply drop off your food and disappear.
But at Beijing Restaurant, you’ll understand what real service feels like—and you’ll be happy to tip for it. Their servers focus on actually taking care of your needs during the meal, without being intrusive or using those overly scripted lines like, “How’s everything tasting so far?” that interrupt your dining experience. Their Mexican waiter is neat, attentive, and makes you feel genuinely comfortable. The female server, who has apparently been working here since before the pandemic, adds to that sense of familiarity and warmth.
Altogether, it gives the impression of a place with integrity and care—a restaurant that truly values its customers. I’m more than willing to pay for real service, and I’ll definitely be coming back again!“

“This restaurant is perfect for a quick lunch, the price is reasonable, the size is just right, the egg noodles taste great, and there are plenty of toppings, making it a very rich bowl of noodles.
I ordered the tofu, shredded pork and egg noodles, and I really liked the texture of the noodles.
Their Lemon green tea also very special, I smell tea aroma , lemon or mint“
“How to eat jjamja noodles (half Jjamppong, half Jajangmyeon) in San Jose-- order veggie Jajangmyeon and a small bowl of Jjamppong soup on the side. Since the noodles are served separately, you can dip them in the jjamppong soup. The side soup is smaller portion but contains squid, shrimp, and vegetables.Bon Appetit!“
