The price was under $20 for a drink and bowl with avocado add on. I'm very happy with my lunch! It's really fresh and no weird pieces of meat. The teriyaki has a really good flavor, I did add extra sauce to my bowl. It's very tasty. I'll definitely be back.“

“I live near this Japanese style food restaurant but never have tried, today I decided to have for dinner with my family, my wife had the combo #02(combos come with beverage)she got beef and with white rice and x2 piece californa roll, I got combo #01 chicken and white rice with 4 dumplings, and for my 5yr old son we got him chicken no sauce with rice with the option of a mini box size, perfect for a toddler, we all were very pleased with the food quality and taste.
The chicken is very authentic in flavor not like most fast food, highly processed chicken taste and the sauce is made their, so it's very homemade hand crafted taste which I personally love, I have fall in love with the flavor and I am excited to try more of the dishes served here.
If your are someone who eats slop, highly processed food, made to feed cancer cells you probably won't appreciate the authentic flavor of a dying food craft made with love, this is not fast good, if you appreciate food craft to a culinary degree this place is for you.

Their wagyu cuts are 100% top-grade and not just random "wagyu" that are below the marks. We tried their A5 and M9 meats, not to mention their salmon carpaccio that is to die for. Their sides are absolutely delicious and smart, one great example is their fried pork buns that is like a spin on soup dumplings. To top it off, you get premium ice cream in the end. Their salad is so good with yuzu and smokey salt, plus you get a chili mix too. They serve the meats fast plus your tablet menu is in front of you so you don't have to keep calling the staff to refill. I give them 9 stars! 🌟 🐄 🥩“

We had some miso soup, seaweed salad, and an assortment of hand rolls. The soup was solid and the seaweed salad was delicious - honestly one of our favorite parts of the meal. The rolls were all very good; the fish was fresh, and each roll highlighted the taste of the fish without overwhelming it with other sauces and flavors. They had this toast with avocado, onions and tomatoes 10 out of 10 I even tried their breakfast udon and the broth was so delicious. I even got into their onigiri and I tried their California their crunch the tuna and the salmon, and they were all so flavorful. But their yogurt Matcha was my favorite as well as their torch spam musubi so so good definitely you’re gonna wanna come check out for their breakfast. It is such a cute little mom and pop shop. It’s like a hidden gem very friendly very clean. I’m definitely coming here to have breakfast and their actual lunch and dinner. “Recently had lunch as a first-timer, and I enjoyed my meal. I've been eyeing this place for awhile, thanks to social media. The menu offers plenty of tasty options, from ramen to sushi and sushi rolls, udon, soba, rice bowls, and more. Vegetarian options are also available.

I ordered the Spicy Ramen along with a couple of pieces of nigiri sushi. The Spicy Ramen has a flavorful pork-and-chicken broth that's not too heavy, and the spice level is medium. Ask for more spice if you like the heat. The pork chashu was thin, but very tender and tasty with a bit of melt-in-the-mouth fat still.

I also ordered yellowtail sushi and seared peppered salmon sushi. Both cuts were delicious and prepared well.

The staff was kind and attentive. The dining area is spacious with plenty of tables and is kept clean. Some pleasant-looking decor as well. Parking can be tricky as the plaza has other popular businesses, and the lot can fill up fast. Can't wait to try more of the menu soon.“

“Came here to try 88 Katsu and I’m already planning my next visit. The inside is super clean with plenty of seating, and I loved that you can order directly from a tablet at your table — so easy and convenient.

I got the Jumbo 88 Katsu and wow… it was HUGE. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and definitely left me stuffed. I also tried the cheese katsu and it was so good — melty, savory, and perfectly fried. Everything comes out on a tray with a full spread of sides like kimchi, curry, soup, and different sauces, which made the meal feel extra satisfying. The rice + curry combo was honestly a highlight for me.

I also ordered the zaru udon, which is a cold udon dish. It was light, refreshing, and really tasty — a nice contrast to the heavier katsu. That said, the jumbo katsu completely stole the show.

Overall, in my opinion, this is the best katsu in OC. Great portions, great quality, and a comfortable dining experience. I’ll definitely be back.“
