We loved getting to speak with Randy, the winemaker and owner, as he walked us through the wines that he clearly put so much love and care into. It’s obvious he only wants to make wines that he himself would drink (hence all of his wines being organic!) and that passion is infectious. Would 10,000% recommend if you want an intimate experience of the kind of people who make Sonoma Valley wine so great.“

“A Hidden Gem in Napa!
This was my second time visiting Annadel Winery, and each experience has been truly unique. The entire property is beautiful, and the wines are absolutely delicious. What really sets this vineyard apart, though, is exceptional hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family. Katie & Dan are incredibly knowledgeable and eager to share their love for wine, making the entire experience personal and enjoyable. They went above and beyond to ensure that every detail of our visit was perfect, making us feel truly welcomed. Thank you again for such a wonderful time. We can't wait to return!“

“We were visiting California but were concerned about stopping at a vineyard with a 13 yo and 11 yo twin children in tow. This was the perfect place. Relaxed atmosphere with nice wines and the kids were completely fine (big sigh of relief)! Highly recommend for adults wanting to experience a bit of California’s wine country and a reprieve from all the kid oriented activities.“

“This was one of the most wonderful catered events I have attended in recent memory! My spouse and I hosted a Wedding Rehearsal Dinner for my son and his new spouse at DArgenzio Winery in Santa Rosa in early June of 2025. There were 35 attendees and we were catered to in the Cibo Rustico event room with a wine bar, relaxing music, bocci ball and incredible service. We selected numerous authentic Italian appetizers such as Vegan Salad, Ceasar's Salad, Rustic Fire Grilled Vegetables, Brochette breads, Caprisi Salad, and Pasta with Bolagnese and Pasta with Pesto sauces. That was followed by three delectable pizza selections (Margarita, Italian sausage and Pepperoni) and polished off with two desert selections of Chocolate Mouse and Tiramisu. Everyone in attendance was in awe of the dishes and ate until their hearts were content. We drank the DArgenzio Pinot Noir, Red Blend and Sauvignon Blanc and they were all terrific. I had forgotten that there was such a thing as "customer service" ever since the Covid19 debacle but the staff blew our socks off with friendly, attentive, professional and nurturing service for all members of the party. This was truly some of the best service I have ever seen and I would highly recommend this establishment. The cost was completely reasonable. My favorite parting shot of the event was watching all of our happy guests leave the event with boxes of awesome leftover food, bottles of extra wine and giant smiles on their face! Thank you DArgenzio Winery for making my Son's Wedding Rehearsal Dinner an unforgettable and epic event!“

We were greeted with sparkling Chardonnay and tasted wines from different appellations including the Estate Pinot Noir - one of our favorites! We also shared some charcuterie which is nice to have a little food with the wine.“

“It is a brand new wine tasting space and it’s already offers a lot. Beautiful outside area with stunning Californian views has two bocce courts and nice sitting area to enjoy the quality time with your friends. The tasting zone is so airy and spacious, has very modern design and looks sharp with its tasteful combination of rugs and leather chairs on concrete. Kudos to the interior designer for making it just right for settle, solid, unpretentious comfort for your guests.“

“A flight cancellation re-routed us to the area for a couple days over the holidays. We foolishly thought Trecini would be open on Christmas Day and showed up to the tasting room downtown. Kathy happened to be in the office, opened the door to respond to our inquiry, and then offered "well, you're here, do you want to try some wines?" "Uhm, yes! Are you sure? You weren't planning for tastings today though!"But she took us in anyway. Already feeling like an imposition, we expected maybe she'd let us try 4 or 5 wines and send us on our way. But she spent over 2 hours with us letting us sample 14+ wine varietals. What amazing hospitality and attention to the customer the likes of which, I had never previously experienced.We were so floored by the quality of the wine, that we bought 9 bottles to take with us (for reference, we typically by 1 or 2 when we enjoy a wine-tasting). We also loved our conversation with her. It's hard to decide which we enjoyed more - the phenomenal wines or the interaction with our host. Kathy has a warmth and wit about her that makes her immediately feel like an old friend. She was authentic and down-to-earth and so knowledgeable of the wines and their history. This ranks as my number 1 best wine-tasting experience. Ever.P.S. Her talking parrot made for the most fun and endearing assistant wine host!“

“Wow, one of the best wine tastings I’ve ever done. The winery is organic, uses sustainable farming & harvesting practices, and even the structures they’ve built use reclaimed wood and as many local materials as possible. It’s woman-owned and made; we loved hearing the story of how Kathleen started the vineyard in ‘99. Meredith was our host, and she was extremely hospitable, inquisitive, knowledgeable, just a lot of fun. She read the room (or the patio in our case) perfectly and seemed to appear at just the right moment for the next glass. This is the kind of business that I want to support.“

“If you would like a genuine family owned winery experience, Battaglini is your place. Our favorite tasting experience! Dino Battaglini hosted us unannounced. He gave us the full tour and experience as if we were family friends from out of town. More than a 2 hour visit and we enjoyed every minute. Wonderful wines and fun education on the land, processes, serving, trivia and history of the family vineyard. Down to earth, friendly and homey. Highly recommended.“

“When planning our trip to Sonoma, my husband and I decided that we were in search of some good Syrahs. I found an article about the best Sonoma Syrahs that any Syrah lover should taste and looked into a few. How lucky were we to schedule a tasting at Donelan and find Syrahs and Chardonnays and Pinots that we loved! Chris called the day before our tasting and asked what types of wine we wanted to try. Talk about personal service! He absolutely hit the nail on the head. We tasted six wines along with a great cheese plate and spent two hours with him talking wine, food, travel and family. Chris made this an absolutely wonderful experience. Can’t wait to receive our 2 cases. “I’ve been to the Fisher Vineyards many times and on each occasion it seems to go up a notch in it’s quality and the experience. The Coach Insignia and Lamb are world-class cabs that you shouldn’t miss if you visit the Vineyard. . What a pleasant surprise to meet the matriarch of the vineyard Jowell once again and experience the wonderful hospitality with our very entertaining host ,Paul.“
