“Sept 18, 2025 my wife and I were on our 1st full day of California, Napa, Sonoma, Santa Rosa, Petaluma area- WINE Country after traveling from Ohio. We were given the recommendation to visit the Harvest Moon winery after visiting Balletto Vineyards- which was exceptional. We drove in and were the only ones on the patio as work- grape crushing- was going on outside. The beautiful area appeared to be smaller and more intimate and not as commercialized as Balletto which suits us fine. We sat at the outside tables and watched three guys at the crush pad unload bins full of grapes into the crusher. We were in no hurry so we watched the interesting process intently while relaxing. After a short time the proprietor Randy came off the skid steer or tractor and greeted us. We went inside the tasting room and he proceeded to explain what they were doing outside in the tents and the about the wine flights we would enjoy. I had the red flight while my wife( Beth) had the sweet dessert white flight. We sat outside at the tables, enjoyed everyone of the wines in the flights, enjoyed watching the process of crushing the grapes, taking the stems and extra(s) in one bin and checking out the bins full of crushed grapes...with dry ice.. I had to have an explanation of this which Randy did. We had an very enjoyable experience in the totally relaxing atmosphere, while Randy as the working man he is did his thing to make the wines we were enjoying. During a break from crushing the grapes Randy asked us our thoughts of the flights and said he had an extra taste he would bring out for us. He took care of another couple that had arrived for a tasting and had his son bring us some chocolate the was to be paired with our extra tasting. With the extra wine tasting and the chocolate which did pair very well with both the red and dessert flight, we decide to take a couple bottles home with us. Randy- I sit here writing this review as I had popped the signed bottle of Malbec I brought home to enjoy and to remember our time at Harvest Moon Winery. “Wow, one of the best wine tastings I’ve ever done. The winery is organic, uses sustainable farming & harvesting practices, and even the structures they’ve built use reclaimed wood and as many local materials as possible. It’s woman-owned and made; we loved hearing the story of how Kathleen started the vineyard in ‘99. Meredith was our host, and she was extremely hospitable, inquisitive, knowledgeable, just a lot of fun. She read the room (or the patio in our case) perfectly and seemed to appear at just the right moment for the next glass. This is the kind of business that I want to support.“

“This was one of the most wonderful catered events I have attended in recent memory! My spouse and I hosted a Wedding Rehearsal Dinner for my son and his new spouse at DArgenzio Winery in Santa Rosa in early June of 2025. There were 35 attendees and we were catered to in the Cibo Rustico event room with a wine bar, relaxing music, bocci ball and incredible service. We selected numerous authentic Italian appetizers such as Vegan Salad, Ceasar's Salad, Rustic Fire Grilled Vegetables, Brochette breads, Caprisi Salad, and Pasta with Bolagnese and Pasta with Pesto sauces. That was followed by three delectable pizza selections (Margarita, Italian sausage and Pepperoni) and polished off with two desert selections of Chocolate Mouse and Tiramisu. Everyone in attendance was in awe of the dishes and ate until their hearts were content. We drank the DArgenzio Pinot Noir, Red Blend and Sauvignon Blanc and they were all terrific. I had forgotten that there was such a thing as "customer service" ever since the Covid19 debacle but the staff blew our socks off with friendly, attentive, professional and nurturing service for all members of the party. This was truly some of the best service I have ever seen and I would highly recommend this establishment. The cost was completely reasonable. My favorite parting shot of the event was watching all of our happy guests leave the event with boxes of awesome leftover food, bottles of extra wine and giant smiles on their face! Thank you DArgenzio Winery for making my Son's Wedding Rehearsal Dinner an unforgettable and epic event!“

“August 15th my family & visited this winery. There was a gentleman there who was our host. I cannot remember his name but he was amazing went above & beyond to make my 60th bday special. He gifted me a gold alligator wich I will cherish forever. Wine was tasty & the winery itself is so beautiful. Thank you for making my day!“

“This venue was fantastic! We went for the Sunday outdoor music from 3–6pm, which was the perfect time for our toddler’s schedule, and ours too. It's a very family-friendly spot; we rolled out our wagon, set up some chairs and a blanket, and enjoyed wine while listening to the live music. There are a few bocce ball courts and other yard games to play, plus a food truck on-site. We had a wonderful time and are already looking forward to the next concert!“

“If you would like a genuine family owned winery experience, Battaglini is your place. Our favorite tasting experience! Dino Battaglini hosted us unannounced. He gave us the full tour and experience as if we were family friends from out of town. More than a 2 hour visit and we enjoyed every minute. Wonderful wines and fun education on the land, processes, serving, trivia and history of the family vineyard. Down to earth, friendly and homey. Highly recommended.“

“A flight cancellation re-routed us to the area for a couple days over the holidays. We foolishly thought Trecini would be open on Christmas Day and showed up to the tasting room downtown. Kathy happened to be in the office, opened the door to respond to our inquiry, and then offered "well, you're here, do you want to try some wines?" "Uhm, yes! Are you sure? You weren't planning for tastings today though!"But she took us in anyway. Already feeling like an imposition, we expected maybe she'd let us try 4 or 5 wines and send us on our way. But she spent over 2 hours with us letting us sample 14+ wine varietals. What amazing hospitality and attention to the customer the likes of which, I had never previously experienced.We were so floored by the quality of the wine, that we bought 9 bottles to take with us (for reference, we typically by 1 or 2 when we enjoy a wine-tasting). We also loved our conversation with her. It's hard to decide which we enjoyed more - the phenomenal wines or the interaction with our host. Kathy has a warmth and wit about her that makes her immediately feel like an old friend. She was authentic and down-to-earth and so knowledgeable of the wines and their history. This ranks as my number 1 best wine-tasting experience. Ever.P.S. Her talking parrot made for the most fun and endearing assistant wine host!“

“My daughter and son-in-law took myself and our family there for my birthday dinner. We had so much fun. The staff was wonderful and the food delightful. I personally had the lamb. Wow! The Coach Insignia and Lamb are world-class cabs that you shouldn’t miss if you visit the Vineyard. . “A super cute little tasting room and deli off the downtown Santa Rosa square. We came in around 4pm on a Saturday to taste some wine. They fixed us up with flights and glasses for those who didn't want variety, and even though the deli was closed, they fixed us a little brie and crostini platter when we got munchies. Super nice people, good wine, good food - what more can you ask for?“
