“staff was warm and welcoming as we walked in. Super fast service, 3 different staff check on us to see if we needed anything. food came out in correct order, fresh, and hot! was a nice time. “My daughter loves to surprise me with a vegan goodie from here and it's most welcomed! For the past few Mother's Days we had their vegan breakfast box with 5 pastries and a baguette and it was such a treat. My favorite items are the vegan chocolate croissant and strawberry danish. I also loved their vegan pesto feta danish but I haven't seen it on the menu again, would be great if they brought it back. I often get the plain vegan croissants to make breakfast sandwiches but a few times it has had a sweet-ish glaze on top and I wish the plain was consistently savory.“

“3/5 for a first timer during restaurant week… the special menu was $50 per person…. we never got any bread with our dinner (and didn’t realize we were left out until we were on dessert)… and, portions were small, so the bread would have been nice, especially for $50… also, the server made us make our food order at the same time as our drinks… personally, i like to have a drink or two before i order my food… so, the service was rushed in that sense… and no one asked me if i wanted a second glass of wine i had the veal and my friend had the lobster ravioli… both tasted decently but, again, small portions… the burrata was amazing and the desserts (tiramisu and lava cake) were pleasant i think i’d like to try again on a night that isn’t as busy, and order off of the actual menu“

“Because of my PCOS, I have had to really change my diet and go more toward paleo/keto eating. I was really missing baked goods and thought I would give this a try. Got the keto donuts and they were AMAZING. Moist and sweet. No weird texture or lingering aftertaste. Definitely going to come back!! “My husband and I loved our coffees on this Sunday morning! I got a half sweet lavender oat milk latte and it was so good - perfect sweetness for me. My husband loved the specialty Dubai latte. Quality of coffee is so good and smooth, no bitterness at all. They use mostly Monin brand syrups. Definitely would love to come back soon!“

We told some of our guests prior to the wedding we were having gourmet tacos and Hector and the team did not disappoint.They were on time, kind, they provided an AMAZING experience. “My family and I LOVE NBC, so much better than any overrated cupcake place. Today’s experience was extra special because my kids got to meet the baker Kaden who came out to greet us and chat briefly about our favorite carrot cake. He made a birthday extra special without even knowing it’s for a birthday! We definitely come to NBC for the sweet tooth but the icing on the cake is the sweet employees like Kaden and Carmel Valley and Lai at Mission valley. Please do convey my gratitude“

“This store is a little treasure in our neighborhood. An incredible selection especially given the small space they have to work with, Pretty much whatever you need they have it and in the best quality. I like supporting them with my business so that they stick around for a long time.“

“These stores are always very clean. The employees are friendly and they decorate beautiful fro-yo cakes. Everything seems to be run with the customer in mind! Great flavors and toppings too. With new Covid-19 orders, they exceed all requirements. Great job to their team!“

“We do love Hana! However they do a few things that irk us. The first is they RUSH you. You sit down and they ask you a million times if you’re ready to order. Then your food comes way too fast. No separation of appetizers and meal. It all just comes out. They also put the rolls too close next to each other. And the rolls usually fall apart wince they smash the roll into the warm or cold plate interacting with the temperature of the roll. Their sushi making is just inconsistent.

Other than these specific annoyances which I will just start addressing when I come; we really do love Hana. The sushi is good but it has gone way down hill over the last year for some reason.“

“Mothers Day and there was still seating. Most orders we noticed were to take home. Great atmosphere, quick service, polite servers, and clean restaurant. Ordered for take home last year. Glad we decided to stay there. Very relaxing. Food was great and boxed separately the pizzas, when we were ready to leave, which was awesome.“

“Hit up the New Nutmeg on Danielson Street in Poway. I heard their Scripps location closed because the landlord raised the rent so high it was unaffordable for them to stay there. We were a large group so we were able to order a bunch of menu items. There was a line but its a very popular place so we were not surprised. We started with some espresso drinks, and agua frescas. We had the Hearty Bowl, Avocado Toast, and Amazing Burrito. Some in our group had the new Grandpa's Breakfast Bun with the egg and spam, and the Porky. They are very flexible with special orders including one in our group who is gluten sensitive. We finished, sharing their in-house baked pastries (they have gluten-free pastries); the warmed espresso scones and cinnamon buns (don't ever leave without having the "buns"). I work in the area so Nutmeg is now my go-to for breakfast before work, or lunch. Its also located nearby Costco and Home Depot, convenient for a weekend meal before or after my weekly Costco runs.“

“Amazing selection of sandwiches. I had a steak, mushroom, cheddar, and steak sauce sandwich and it was amazing. I think I could go back there every day for about two months and have a different delicious sandwich every time! Highly highly highly recommend this place.“
