“After seeing these tacos on Gareth Eats, I was so happy to find them at the PB Farmers’ Market within walking distance of my rental. I had the original Baja and IMHO, the better one, the Sweet Ginger. The fish is so tender, almost buttery. The tacos are huge, but messy. Fork came in handy. I feel very lucky that two of the top five Baja tacos, right here in Pacific Beach!“

“So stoked they have vegan rolled tacos! I tried both the potato and the lentil quinoa. Both are delicious, but the lentil quinoa ones blew me away!! 🙌🏽👏🏽👏🏽 They are so flavorful and the tortillas are crispy and crunchy, yet not hard. Also awesome is that they pack everything separately so the food isn’t a soggy mess when you get home. I added vegan sour cream I had at home and topped it with their guacamole, lettuce and salsa. They were heavenly!! I also appreciate that they fry their vegan tacos in a separate fryer. 🙌🏽Also, thank you for not using styrofoam. “A friend recommended that we tried Bonjour Patisserie before we left town, and we were not disappointed!

We tried their chocolate almond croissant, strawberry mascarpone croissant, and banana latte. The croissants were delectable! The chocolate almond one had a tasty almond filling, we really enjoyed the creaminess of the strawberry croissant, and the banana latte wasn't overly sweet.

The staff was very friendly. We brought our baby with us in his stroller, and the staff helped us settle at a table inside the cafe. We'd gladly return!“

“We had such a great experience here! The servers were so helpful and friendly while we decided what to order. They gave great recommendations and were so welcoming. We got the Awash special tibs and a combo platter so we could try both meats and vegetables. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend!

“3/5 for a first timer during restaurant week… the special menu was $50 per person…. we never got any bread with our dinner (and didn’t realize we were left out until we were on dessert)… and, portions were small, so the bread would have been nice, especially for $50… also, the server made us make our food order at the same time as our drinks… personally, i like to have a drink or two before i order my food… so, the service was rushed in that sense… and no one asked me if i wanted a second glass of wine i had the veal and my friend had the lobster ravioli… both tasted decently but, again, small portions… the burrata was amazing and the desserts (tiramisu and lava cake) were pleasant i think i’d like to try again on a night that isn’t as busy, and order off of the actual menu“

“Great gluten-free baked goods! I got the mini lemon blueberry loaf. It was light and airy and great flavor. It was hard to tell how the coffee was. I got a pumpkin spice latte with oat milk and it was very flavorful - exactly what pumpkin spice is. It was on the sweeter side with lots of chai-like spice. You can taste the ginger, cloves, etc. so you can tell it’s not artificial, which is nice. If you like very strong pumpkin spice flavors, I think you’ll like this place. Next time I’ll try a plain unsweetened latte. They make their flavorings in house and bake the pastries fresh every day. They have the baking mixes for sale as well. There was plenty of seating. I was genuinely curious to try this place after reading all the mixed reviews. Some mentioned bad customer service, poor seating, coffee that tasted bad, and gas station-looking pastries. But I didn’t experience any of that. I took an updated video to show what the place looks like now.“
