“These fish tacos shot straight into the top three I’ve ever had. They’re made with Ono (also called Wahoo) — a fish I had never tried before. It’s mild, slightly sweet, and just perfect in tacos. The tortilla was thin but firm, the kind that doesn’t fall apart but still tastes fresh. On top came a crunchy, flavorful salad and a green salsa that was simply amazing — bright, tangy, and the kind of sauce you’d want to put on everything. Honestly, every bite was a knockout.

“My husband and I went to Patty's Place for our anniversary. We were thinking it was just your basic steak house. We were wrong. Nothing about Patty's is basic.I was shocked when we walked in. It has just enough elegance to enhance a cozy, and comfortable experience. The service was excellent and very friendly. Needless to say, the food was magnificent. I've never had side dishes be as delicious as the main meal. The potatoes and veggies were out of this world. ~ I can honestly say, " it was the best food I've ever eaten." You might convince yourself the near $30 price tag at places like santa monica seafood would give you better fish and chips but it's not the case. the batter here is crispy and much more delicate. not heavy and greasy like the beer battered options. I paid $12 for 3 giant pieces of fish. the value is fantastic and the quality is good. only complaints are that the inside can use a thorough dusting (don't look at the fan) and that the fries have potential to be a lot better. tbh if the fries resembled something closer to European chips I would pay another $10 for this plate happily.“

“My first time here , came based off Google reviews. Absolutely wish we can order everything off the menu but my stomach can't take it all!! I ordered the Cantonese filet mignon stir fry with mushrooms, onions and Thai basil leaves and it was soooo flavorful and tender. My friend ordered the chow mein with chicken and it was soo delicious and I'm not talking about the panda express type chow mein. Can tell that this place really uses quality ingredients. “My husband and I went to Parker’s Lighthouse for dinner on a Friday night, the first time at this restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by the great service we received from our waiter and other waiters, no wait for a table, due to ample indoor and outdoor seating available, and the food was great. I wish I could remember our waiter’s name, he was in his 20’s, tall/lean, brunette, great personality, and great service. The only complaint I have is the hostess did not sit us at a great table originally, it took her three times to find a table with some kind of a view, there was plenty of seating options that had a partial or full view.“

“It was over a decade ago but I still remember my first meal here. This is a locals long standing hole in the wall. Owner is a straight up american tale. He also makes a mean Clam Chowder. The only reason why I don't think it has more reviews is that it's location may seem out of the way for most. People make the trek to come here because the food is simple, hearty, memorable and as fresh as wild catch gets. It's probably the best seafood in all of LA.
