“The best kept secret in Monterey! First of all the FRESH hand-made corn tortillas! OMG! Best in town without question. Huevos rancheros and Chilaquiles were amazing! Authentic. You want spicy? They have the spicy. You prefer mild? Their tomatillo is super mild and DELICIOUS! Fast service with a smile. Plenty of parking. AND THE PRICES ARE SO LOW“

“Being an old-ish Army Vet, I had to try the SOS, as it was the go to breakfast in the 80's Army. I was not disappointed with the flavor or the memories! Great, efficient servers, service and food. 12 stars outta 10 stars! (When the VA appointments send me this way again, I'll definitely be getting my breakfast here!)“

“This place has been here for decades and is now under new management I think. Much improved decor, food quality, brighter and cleaner, but prices are still worth it. Definitely give it another try if you haven't been here in awhile. I only wish they did delivery!“

“Tiny spot in Seaside. Awesome rice plates and soups, not to mention the boba drinks. Always consistent and tasty. Decent portions and vegetarian options available too. Yummy ?.
Parking: Sometimes parking can be a challenge but usually there's a spot close by.“

“I love the emphasis on great coffee (latte for me) and not a place to set up a laptop and sit around for a couple of hours. While there, try the oatmeal cookie, yum, or the ginger cookie, amazing!
Parking: Get your goods and drive 3 minutes to the state park beach. Enjoy!!“

“Everyone had the time of their life! I reached out to Darryl in May 2025 and reserved the back patio for a family function. Family members from PA, SC, Southern Cal, AZ, Northern Cal and NY came to help celebrate my birthday, a graduate in the family and of course Father's Day. Darryl made things happen for us/me. I can truly say he did a fantastic job. The food and decorations were great thanks to Ms. Stephanie and the overall accommodations were fantastic. Darryl even scheduled the entertainment for the night to be R and B for me!!! Love my oldies!!! I can honestly say everyone had a great time and we would do it again without hesitation. If you're ever in the Monterey/Seaside area, drop in to Deja Blue!

“Great local breakfast spot in Seaside. I really like this place for many reasons, good food, prompt service and convenient location. You can pick a touristy resturaunt if you like, me I prefer a more casual vibe and it's close to home. The Breakfast Burrito is one of my favorites!“
