Those biscuits put them on the MAP! I had lost faith in biscuits & gravy in this city. I have been let down time and time again because it was so weak. But these gave me hope for the future 🥹 I could see this place being my breakfast new normal. “Our waiter, Jorge , was rude, intolerable and unacceptable. We have been patrons at Canter's since it started in Boyle Heights. I was a baby. It's a tradition. I've never been so embarrassed and disappointed for taking my family, my Jewish stepfather for the first night of Hanukkah received rolled eyes annoying breaths for asking for a refill of coke, he was insulted under the breath of being bothered by a barely busy waiter. In the last fifty years, the worst waiter I've ever experienced. Instead of introducing himself and asking what we would like to start with, we received “ it's the first night of Hanukkah, what do you want, tap tap tap, rolling eyes, better order now or we will run out” not in a cool east coast deli attitude way, in a grumpy rude, I don't want to be here, hurry up and order way. We're still talking about how horrible Jorge was. He ruined our first night's Hanukkah. We love Canter's and we will never stop dining there. But we never ever want to be waited by Jorge. What a mean, grumpy, rude man.“

Stand on line to place/pay for my order. Grabbed my number, took a few steps where I cured my coffee, needed additional napkins and my hot sauce. Next thing I know , this lovely plate was presented. Thanks to Hannah who was very helpful to me, while I decided my breakfast. I so enjoyed my meal. I didn't feel heavy.

I come here also for the farfalle marinara: my kid's fav. Sauce is super, best we've had, she asks for this dish twice a month.

I have their pasta punch card for repeat customers. When I get a free small pasta I usually choose the penne aglio olio, a very nice snack, piping hot, fresh out the pan.

“Whenever we are even close to Downtown LA and staying in a hotel for a night or more, we have IHop delivered. It is just the best.

We have eaten at this one more than once and it is clean, the service just great and the whole place is very comfortable. The servers are always nice.

This time we had it delivered and it was, as always so good. They pack it all in such a way there is no way it can get ruined or food mixed with other food. The delivery is fast and I have never had an issue, not once.

This time we had burgers, which were so good with bacon and cheese. My grandson had a grilled cheese sandwich with French fries and he loved it. I am the huge pancake lover in the family so I had their big breakfast that comes with the best, most fluffy and perfect pancakes along with hash browns and bacon, ham and sausage. It was all great and I saved the meat for our dogs who were waiting for us to get home (we were at a hotel nearby).

It is just the best and the prices are so fair. You will pay much more for some fancy place, but their pancakes won't be as good.

“I'll let you into a little secret: this is where all the locals eat. Black, white, brown, Asian. English, Spanish, Patwa, Korean. Everybody loves Honeybees and if you eat here youll know why. Classic American dishes with a hint of Salvadorian flavor. I grew up in pico union so this place feels like home. They used to even put the hot chocolate in these beautiful mugs with a little bee on it but over time people broke them sadly. As I said, this is the hole-in-the-wall experience you're looking. Afterwards, a quick walk and you'll find a record store, independent fashion boutiques, and much more. Easily some of the best breakfast you can have on Adams maybe even all of LA.“

“Only 4 Stars because the eggs where fully scrambled instead of the signature runny eggs. I've been to a few location and the one in downtown LA next to the E-line is my favorite one to go to. Will come back to this location and try again. Still a big fan of Egg tuck every cook makes food different that's anywhere you go.“
