Tucked into a lobby spot on Sawtelle, you can get a giant delicious egg breakfast with fantastic potatoes or chicken sausage for under $20. Coffees, waffles, sandwiches top notch. “What can I say? It’s across the street from a busy high school, it’s on Sunset Blvd. and there are quite a few encampments that you’ll need to step over to get to the front door. BUT…. The craving needed to be satisfied. Crêpes with the strawberry topping on the side (I guess it would be strawberry SIDING then?!), hash browns crisp, 1 egg over medium, turkey bacon crisp and an Arnold Palmer extra ice please and it HAS to be from iHop. The food always tastes good, the atmosphere is just fine (it’s clean!), and the service was great. The man who helped me was super friendly, very accommodating and he laughed at the joke I made! If you have to have crêpes at 1:00 a.m. or 5:30 p.m. go to iHop. You know you’re not eating crêpes in Paris at Galette Café next to the River Seine.
As a matter of fact I’m going to have that very meal delivered by Uber eats, not from Galette Café I mean that’s just a little too far from West Hollywood it’ll get cold but, I can pretend.“
