“Was craving some ramen and was about to drive to little Tokyo when I found this little jewel nearby. Food was tasty and knocked my cravings out. I ordered the signature monkey ramen dish and was not disappointed. You can tell the broth had taken a couple days, because it was so rich. I would definitely eat here again.“

Friendly and timely. The ambiance is beautiful and it feels very clean when you walk in. The sushi is SO FRESH, even mid-week, and the special cut rolls are very artistic and delicious. I very much love the no rice rolls selection, and the Chef accommodated me by making a no rice spider roll that wasn't on the menu... Mmmm, Mmmm! I'm bringing friends upon my next visit (Sat. “I had an amazing experience at Ox Bone Ramen and it absolutely deserves five stars. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is friendly and attentive.

The standout for me was the Ox Shoyu—it’s incredibly delicious, hearty, and deeply satisfying, yet surprisingly light in flavor. The broth is clearly slow-simmered with care, delivering rich umami without feeling heavy. Every bite felt balanced and comforting.

Their menu has something for everyone, whether you’re into bold options like Ox Fire Miso or prefer something classic like Tonkotsu or Tsukemen. I also loved that they offer great options beyond ramen, including rice bowls and crispy Japanese fried chicken.

One thing that really impressed me was their Happy Hour menu—fantastic value with great selections that make it easy to try a little bit of everything. To top it off, I highly recommend pairing your meal with the Echigo Koshihikari and their House Sake—both complemented the flavors perfectly and elevated the entire experience.

“Ramen was good, was expecting more for Gluten Free noodles, it had to be modified a couple of times since even though we ordered GF noodles they still gave us an egg with gluten!
Service could have been better if the server had asked follow up questions!

“This place is so yummy. Plus portions are huge and the food is so hot and flavorful every-time. The staff are very nice, and they are accommodating of allergies. I came here with a friend who has a sesame allergy, and they were able to replace the normal noodles with rice noodles for her. They told the chef before he touched her food, cleaned all their tools, cleaned the cooking area, and checked that the sauces didn’t have sesame. Much appreciated!“
