“This is a really special restaurant. Their waiting staff is very attentive and deals quite well with children. They also go beyond with regulars in treating them as close friends. It’s quite unique and very special. I’ve also never had a meal here that wasn’t fantastic. I highly recommend any steak dish on the menu. The bread is real good as well. I recommend this restaurant for an upscale family gathering.“

“We had a great dining experience at The Amalfi Llama tonight. The crab cake appetizer was amazing and contained huge pieces of crab. The filet was delicious and so flavorful. The tiramisu was delicious and so light. Our server Valentyn was also excellent. He was so attentive and extremely thoughtful. He anticipated our every need through the evening. “We love this bar, been dining here for over 22 years. We've seen it change from the original twice in that time, the latest recently opening so we checked it out today. We ate lunch here and the positives were it was excellent food, good drinks and great service.

It was also our own private restaurant, we were the only diners which surprised us at first. But, once we saw the both very limited and very off-the beaten-track menu choices we understood this is now a place you come when you either want Happy Hour or have a very specific craving.

The menu is oddly specific for a tourist area, none of the very usual comfort food items on this menu here; (not kid friendly in my opinion either) as an FYI). But, to be clear, our lunches were delicious!

Also, in the County of over 1120 micro-breweries, they literally only offer 1 beer on tap and no bottles. One beer! They also only offer one desert. so you either want the one or you do what we did, walk down the street and eat desert somewhere else ?.

But, we do love this hotel and it's restaurants, we've been dining, drinking and staying here for over 22 years (as locals) and still encourage you to check it out.“

“Amazing experience! Such a cool fun vibe with a live band on Thursdays and beautiful ambiance, especially at night! We got the lobster bao buns, the noodles, tuna sashimi, and cucumber salad. all INCREDIBLE! service was also perfect with everything coming out very fast. Drinks also were great- highly recommend the pina colada styled drink! Will be back for sure!“

One place in particular is Pacific Point which offers high top seating, bar seating, and a very comfortable outdoor space as well. My wife and I had an early dinner one evening in the bar area and our food was great. Also, the service was excellent as well. Our server was accommodating, answered any and all questions, and checked on us frequently. Definitely a great spot if you are looking for an amazing meal and service.“

“We had another excellent meal! We were celebrating our son’s birthday and our server Paul really made it a great night . We have had him before and he is really a fantastic server! All of our food was fantastic . Pictured below the ahi ceviche and the jalapeño watermelon margarita . Such a fun atmosphere, too.“

“From the moment we walked into the door to meet our friends, until the time we left feeling pretty good about our Friday night, Cocina de Barrio aced all of our expectations and more. The hosts were just so welcoming and made our out of town guests feel right at home. It was Happy Hour and the bartender grinded out some of THE BEST Cadillac Margaritas in town...and our party of 5 enjoyed many of them. It was obvious that the folks that work at this restaurant aren't lazy, forgetful, or lacked knowledge of their food, OH NO. These folks gloriously worked the entire restaurant as a team, and boy was it fabulous. Delicious fish tacos, grilled shrimp tacos and fresh ceviche, along with delectable braised ribs in mole sauce were served up with perfect timing, and as we enjoyed our dishes and drinks, our server Manuel, was like a Ninja - appearing only when we we appeared to be getting low on something, and quick to replenish or take more of our orders very quickly. Amazing. Our table made a promise to one another that we'll definitely come back to Cocina de Barrio for more great nights of fun and feast, and to make sure we don't wait too long to do it! Ole!“

Everything was great except the server consistently trying to close us out. We were a group of four girls catching up and couldn't help but feel she was trying to get us in and out.
