“We went for a birthday okay I. Everything was wonderful we sat outside on the patio which was so much quieter than inside. They were three of us. We all had filet mignon and they were cooked perfectly the garlic mashed potatoes were superb and the vegetables al dente. Our server was just a joy. She was very attentive and did a great job of being the secret dessert server! We had a wonderful time as always.“

A little loud for conversation but it's impolite to talk with your mouth full anyway. Neat old world industrial decor. Finally, it may very well be the best lasagna I've ever had. House salad with creamy pesto and cheesy garlic bread were all generous portions (we got boxes for leftovers - and a canoli and tiramisu to go!)“

“We enjoyed the dinner specials recently. Arrived here right before New Years, 12-30. I hade the daily catch and my wife had the steak pasta. Delicious. My fish was petrale sole, mixed vegetables, rice pilaf. Wife’s steak pasta was flavorful and creamy. We sat at the bar so service wasn’t the best but still attentive. Will return tomorrow. Seaside Fish and Chowder at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is a hidden gem that every seafood lover needs to visit. I stopped by on a whim and ended up having one of the most memorable meals of my trip.

Their crab sandwich is out of this world—sweet, fresh crab meat served on perfectly grilled sourdough from Sumano’s Bakery, crisped in butter until golden. The flavors were perfectly balanced, rich, and comforting without being heavy. You can taste the freshness.

The staff was friendly, the service was quick even with a crowd, and the location can’t be beat—right near the beach, with that classic Boardwalk vibe.

Highly recommend grabbing a crab sandwich (and maybe a bowl of chowder too!) and enjoying it while watching the waves. This place is a must-stop when you're in Santa Cruz!“

“We were there for a music event late Jan 2025. HH drink specials were tasty but was disappointed on how cold it was inside the restaurant. Both doors, front & back, were wide open during the entire evening show (48 degrees outside). Even the band mentioned how cold it was before beginning their set. All the customers wore jackets. Also, the harsh lighting was way too bright throughout the restaurant. I wanted my sunglasses on. Please read the room & tone down the lighting & warm the place up, then we’ll be back. Mahalo“

“Walked in a 9:25pm, unaware that the restaurant closed at 9:30. Once I realized, I was fine to leave them be to close up because I know it can be inconvenient to have customers walk in as you’re closing. The staff insisted they were happy to make our order as long as it was to go. We ordered two meals and they said “it’ll be ready in 5min” and they were not lying! Less than 4min later, we had our food and were out the door. It was delicious!! Dynasty gets 5 stars for the service alone, plus the food is delicious. Glad to have a great Chinese restaurant on the east side🙏 will be back!“

“They are open on Sunday!Wonderful authentic Chinese food(slightly less spicy for local tastes)- locally owned and friendly. Bustling, Casual sit down and take out. Lots of conversation in mandarin between kitchen, owners and hosts- which we love. We went in a large group and tried 10 dishes. Favorites were garlic chicken wing appetizer, spicy green beans, fish stew, cumin lamb, Sichuan style chicken, and the mu shu pork. We also like led the Sichuan tofu, scallops with broccoli, Mongolian beef (Chinese fajitas), and the candied walnut shrimp.“

“This is a really good halal restaurant here in Santa Cruz. There isn't much of a halal restaurant here in Santa Cruz, and this has been a go-to for me recently. The owner is extremely nice and generous with the portions. Unlimited Chips, and there are a lot of exotic snacks.“

“We came here to eat breakfast and had the seafood omelette. The portions are massive and you can split one meal for 2. The food is good but not the best I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is pretty nostalgic and the workers are super friendly. I don’t think I’ve had better service anywhere else.“

“Good was amazing and the staff was friendly and helpful! I was there with a party so we were given the buffet. The view was beautiful and the room for the party was easily accessible and created a great atmosphere. Parking was tight on the warf, but we knew in advance so we could give ourselves about 15 extra minutes to find parking and then walk to the restaurant. The walk was lovely as well as there were many things to look at including the beach.“
