“Great spot.

Came here on a suggestion from a friend who's very sensitive to gluten. She could literally eat anything on the menu she was overwhelmed for the first time in ages!

Reasonably priced considering the food and atmosphere.

Food was excellent, the garlic bread was incredible!

I got the chicken and beef shawarma plate as a main dish. I loved the chicken it was juicy and flavorful. The shawarma, was a little over done on the spices but the meat was insanely tender.

We also had the garlic sauce, only get that if you love garlic otherwise it'll be too much.

For dessert I got their huge cookie which was really good!

I don't usually like gluten free food, but this spot nailed it perfectly, would recommend even to non gluten folks.

Atmosphere is beautiful, it definitely feels like you're somewhere else once you're inside or even in their outdoor area.

Staff was very friendly and more than helpful!

“HOLEY CRAP these are incredible donuts. Who knew the Hawaiian superfood taro could be so delicious? “Food here is outstanding! We picked our food to go for an impromptu picnic at the park and enjoyed eveything. The carbonara was a knock out, very rich and decadent. All the pastries were yum, but the morning bun was our favorite. And the sandwiches are so well constructed with bread that was obviously baked fresh.

Only thing ill say is the patio is not good for large parties so if you intend to dine in, the seating there it ideal for parties of 2 or 4.“

The “cream filled” Hostess cupcake dupe was a huge hit! Cinnamon crumb coffee cake, and pumpkin spiced donuts were also phenomenal!“

“I have been to the 2 Little Tokyo locations and this one is definitely the winner! there’s a huge variety of pastries and things to eat for a quick bite (you might probably have to eat it standing or elsewhere during the weekends since it gets pretty packed and there’s just 3 tables!) but the steamed buns were good!, the matcha mochi wasn’t too sweet so it was perfect, the almond croissant was fine but their specialty is definitely on other pastries! will definitely come back again to try more stuff.“

“Absolutely incredible vegan dishes and top notch service! We stumbled on Rice when looking for vegan options; so happy we did! Dishes we tried: vegan crisp rice sampler, miso soup, garlic edamame, homemade ginger ale and the crispy dynamite role vegan. Everything was so good! The ginger ale was next level - highly recommend! We got homemade pickled ginger with the roll and it was unbelievably tasty and fresh. The miso soup was a nice surprise as most are not vegan; a broth that built upon each sip and the tofu was also homemade. The crispy dynamite vegan roll had such a unique and deep flavor - more smokey than spicy. I can't recommend the food enough. Thank you to the chef and for the exceptional service. What a treat!!“

“If you’re a first timer like me, you might be doubtful entering the store just like my experience as it’s not like the door was open or you could peek through from outside. Nonetheless that’s probably the way you knew it’s legit as the store didn’t even come in gorgeous presentation or whatsoever. Just simple showcases and an attendant, with cash-only payment.

Nothing looked fancy, but abundant options of both mochi and manju. If you’re not familiar, prolly simplest way to differentiate is mochi comes in chewy texture while manju is more soft bread-alike. The filling they offered varied from red bean, white bean, even black one! I got their Kinako Mochi filled with black bean and covered in soy bean powder. One bite and WOW IT WAS BOMB! So good and totally cured my craving for the ones I had in Japan. I could totally tell the quality was stellar and it’s fully stuffed with luscious filling making the price tag paid certainly worth.“

The owner was so incredibly kind and helped us pick out the right things to feed 30+ people, was super responsive via email, and even met us in person when we picked up our order to offer her heartfelt condolences. They went above and beyond to help make this difficult day easier and we were blown away not only by their compassion, but the quality of their baked goods! The memorial guests devoured everything and many of them remarked to us how great the food was :) I can't recommend Cara Mia enough and hope to visit again under happier circumstances. Molly came and opened the door with a smile @ the take out section. She asked me how was my day on the spot. ( She could've just said hi and kept it pushing) So freaking pleasant. Her ora exudes flowery positive all over the place vibes. (Ppl appreciate that!!!) Ashley took my order Sweet & patient. She was loving on Thor while he was peeking on the side of the counter. Molly came to me with a very sweet Gesture while in the process of multi-tasking a little problem with a plate and took care of it immediately. Observing that let's me know that they take care of their coustomers. Another employee asked me if my puppy wanted water. I was in awwwww. Then out of no where a lady in blue approaches & while also loving on Thor, informed me that pets are allowed to eat in the out door area of the restaurant per Management. The kind lady Jackie was management!!! I can't say even due to having Thor with me I was getting special attention because of his 😍. I come in here I didn't know Molly's name @ the time but her positive vibes have not changed. Ms. Jackie helped me & Thor to the car, with my food (which she did not have to do) out of the kindness of her heart! And she gave me some special tips on my knee. LOL. I'm raving about the service, I haven't even talked about my meal. Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp & Butter cake. All was good. Once again Thank you so much ladies.“

“Was next door at the optometrist. Saw they had vegan options. Walked in nice place lots of vegan vegetarian options. There cupcakes, cookies, Bundt cake , donuts and ice cream. All gluten free. Decided to try the filled cupcake and Bundt cake. Had good texture and sweetness. Everything is labeled very well so you if it vegan or vegetarian or egg free.“

“This place came to the rescue!!! The wedding cake I had made fell over on the long drive. It was a disaster!! Other bakeries near the wedding venue were already closed and others needed at least 48 hour notice… the wedding was happening NOW. I called Sonora Bakery in my final desperate attempt, explained the situation, sent them a picture of the cake and within minutes, they got to work. The cake was delicious and the wedding was saved. Thank you Sonora Bakery…. You have a customer for life!“

“Amazing bar in the heart of South Park. Solid food options and a seasonally changing menu. Great outdoor patio for SoCal weather and indoor spaces for private parties. Solid liquor line up from lesser known boutique spirits to the mainstays. Friendly bartenders that know your drink and walking distance to Crypto Area/ LA Live / Convention Center. Every neighborhood should have a place like Prank.“

“The food here is pretty good. We ordered Pho, sandwich, chicken egg rolls and vermicelli. Take awhile for the food to come out but it’s worth it. Chicken egg rolls are surprisingly taste very like pork egg rolls. Recommend this place if you want to try Vietnamese food in Little Tokyo.“

“I wanted to try this bakery because I was in the area. It is a small bakery just pick up. There is no seating, but the bakery is clean and pleasant. I met the owner who was friendly and helpful. It was so nice to be able to eat a gluten free, low carb dessert. The items we did purchase were fresh, moist and delicious. It was a bit pricey, but when you like baked goods, and can’t have gluten in it and or are diabetic this is a nice solution.“
