While I love to share my experience with others, I am sometimes shocked at how people use their "power of the word" to down-rate amazing places because of minor incidents (in my all-time favorite​ restaurant Le Petit Four on Sunset Plaza the owner was even called a racist as he refused to toast the (free) bread in his packed restaurant - they simply do not offer toasted bread, as no French​ place does, as I may add). Or I just read "Chicken piccata so over-salted I hope the dog enjoys the leftovers tomorrow, I brought home most of the dish." Did they speak to their service? How could the restaurant learn that something was wrong when patrons even have their leftovers​ boxed to take home? As a dog owner,​ I want to take the writer and shake him or her really bad and say "You give over-salted food to your dog? Anyone with a bit of brain understands this is a horrible idea...​ I hope you agree.So If I had a say on this portal, I would offer just to see the ratings of my friends. So I would see what the ratings were by like-minded people. Sadly, I have no say. I try not to compare apples with oranges. A place like this does not correspond to "The Ritz". At first,​ I assume that a restaurant is clean, they do not greet you with a gun - and they deliver whatever they promise. I do not give stars for things that are expected. In my rating scheme, three or more stars are awarded if they actually exceed my expectations. Four, if I am sure I will come back. “Hot take: way better than Silverlake Ramen down the street. Better portions. Better food. They can easily accommodate my kid’s random eating habits and they have options outside of ramen for that one person in the group that just isn’t in the mood. Staff is nice and attentive without hovering. So happy they’re back open again. The remodel is great! No notes from a design point of view.

Omelette could’ve been well done but didn’t stop the eggs from being nice and creamy. mint lemonades also are unique and tasty for the Pasadena heat around this time of the year.

I love that they have quinoa and brown rice option and they are very generous with their portion. I feel that small size (two selections) is more than enough..

It’s quite small with a few tables but most people order to go. If I’m not mistaken, there is always infused water which is very refreshing especially in the summer.

After touring my original hometown of Torrance, I decided to visit my second one— South Pasadena. Boy, was I glad to get out of traffic when we arrived!

On this bright and pleasant day, my friend and I were in sore need of a pick-me-up, so we headed straight to Jamba Juice. I’d been here many years ago, as a young boy, and my heart jumped for joy when we discovered it hadn’t moved!

I ordered the Açaí Super Antioxidant Smoothie, which I’d actually never had. It was a hit! Refreshing and delicious.

“Finally used my coupon for an 11 inch fully loaded pizza. This location is very nice, super clean and a place to sit and enjoy your pizza. They have great menu options and fresh ingredients, pizza well cut and nice and warm right off the blazing fire oven. I stand firm on my review for the downtown location but this location is a win for service quality and taste.
