We used to have a fire table like yours, so dining here always carries a sense of home. Last night we brought friends, and they said, ‘This makes it hard to go out to eat in Monrovia—our restaurants cut corners with cheap ingredients and fast turnover.’ What your chefs create is the opposite: dishes with not just incredible flavor but extraordinary texture and detail. “Ended up here accidentally on a layover: Hands down, the best ramen I’ve ever had (springy, slurpy perfection), amazing cocktails (if you like gin the Japanese 75 is a must try!), and whatever the whipped cream, creme brûlée’d banana dessert was tasted like heaven. I even ordered another tonkotsu ramen to go (all the way to Florida) to bring back to my fiancé. Not your regular everywhere tacos. These tacos were homemade recipes. I had the carne asada, pork with potato (puerco con papa) & beans with cactus (frijoles con nopal). It's a week later that I tried these tacos and I can't stop talking about them. My favorite was the beans with cactus. Soooo good. Also, the atmosphere was just so nice and lively. “Easy 5 stars. Genuinely some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. Everything was incredibly fresh, and I loved that the dishes weren’t overloaded with sauces or unnecessary toppings, the quality of the fish really spoke for itself.

The salmon was buttery and melted in your mouth, the eel was warm, rich and perfectly glazed, and even the cucumber salad was ridiculously good. And if you go, definitely try the fatty tuna, highly recommend it!

This is one of those places that makes it hard to enjoy average sushi afterward. 😂 Already looking forward to going back.“

The quality of the food, wine pairings and service rank among the best I've experienced -- and I say that having dined at Central in Lima, Peru (#1 restaurant in South America and #2 in the world) in 2022. “I just tried Bridgetown Roti for the first time. I can immediately say Mom's Curry Chicken Roti did not disappoint. It was packed with flavor and incredibly juicy inside, with a nicely grilled exterior. For me, their Pineapple Habanero Sauce made it complete. Giving it that extra spicy kick I wanted. The pineapple perfectly toned down the habanero so that it wasn't too hot. Just flavorful.

I also tried their Oxtail & Peppers Patty. Definitely good, but not as much of a standout as the roti.

Lastly, I tried their Macaroni & Cheese Pie. This was somewhat disappointing. If I had to guess, perhaps it's not a popular seller. Mine tasted like it had been reheated numerous times and definitely didn't taste fresh like the rest of the food.

“This place has great Sichuan food! It has so many varieties of food to try and are all very good! We got the chongqing cold noodles that were very flavorful and numby! The favorite was the mapotofu that had very soft silky tofu with minced pork and a sauce you can smother rice with. We also got the local flavor lamb that had tons of veggies along with the soft tender lamb meat. The sweet and sour pork was crispy and delicious and the sliced potatoes with vinegar was very refreshing and had a nice soft crunch to it.

The staff were very nice and attentive and the place is very very popular and busy. The atmosphere is just like any mom n pop Chinese restaurant.

I've been here in the past and have enjoyed other dishes like the twice cooked pork, various dumplings, wonton in chili oil, dan dan noodles, cumin lamb/mutton & sliced beef & ox offal! The portions are always huge and sharable and great value!“
