“We are vegan and went with the Spicy Miso Ramen, it didn't disappoint. One suggestion, if you want the extra spice kick, ask for their chili oil, it really amped up the ramen overall.
Our kid enjoyed the mushroom bao too.

For parking, you can get lucky by finding a street parking behind the restaurant.“

“I’d been meaning to try Maury’s for a long time and finally made it.

Everything tasted fresh and exactly what I expected from a good bagel shop. I had the Lox open and really enjoyed it.

Coffee was good too. I always wish places served a bigger cup, but it did the job.

One thing that really stood out was how fast everything was. Ordered, got my food, and was eating within minutes. I appreciate that.

There are only outdoor tables, so don’t count on getting a seat if it’s busy. Also no restroom or sink, so come with clean hands.

They also have refrigerators with juices, smoked salmon, pickles, and other things to take home.

Definitely a place I’ll come back to and try more of the menu.“

“Villa's Tacos were amazing! and I'm not saying this just because of the hype of the Super Bowl. I'm saying this because I mean it. The tacos were just amazing to me. Not your regular everywhere tacos. These tacos were homemade recipes. I had the carne asada, pork with potato (puerco con papa) & beans with cactus (frijoles con nopal). It's a week later that I tried these tacos and I can't stop talking about them. My favorite was the beans with cactus. Soooo good. Also, the atmosphere was just so nice and lively. I truly enjoyed every minute of my visit here. Thank you Villa's Tacos, we will return.“

I tried the quesadilla, and while it didn’t have a traditional Mexican flavor (aside from the tortilla), it was still absolutely delicious. I got the lemon cake and two of the sprinkle cookies to bring home to me and my family. The bread options are amazing for gluten-free as well. I ended up getting their chorizo and egg for breakfast. Absolutely amazing food. On the side I got tater tots, they were crunchy and very tasty. Not greasy, which is hard to do when you fry something. We sat in the back where the wine area is because it was really hot that day so the ambience in that little area was very quirky and eclectic. “Have you ever made a random desperate stop off the freeway because you were starving, and landed in a genuinely fantastic restaurant? Just happened to me at Zhengyalov Hatz. What a treat! Healthy, delicious, natural lunch from an unassuming strip mall. I got dessert, too!

“After our Altadena house burned down, we relocated to Barker Block and absolutely love being so close to Manuela. We used to have a fire table like yours, so dining here always carries a sense of home. Last night we brought friends, and they said, ‘This makes it hard to go out to eat in Monrovia—our restaurants cut corners with cheap ingredients and fast turnover.’ What your chefs create is the opposite: dishes with not just incredible flavor but extraordinary texture and detail. “Pretty good! The dan dan noodle tasted great. The wonton soup was okay and the beef roll was a little lacking on meat. The Taiwanese sausage seemed a bit small for $7 but was pretty good.

Overall very reasonable prices and the food is pretty decent.“

“I recommend Botanica to everyone. They use fresh hand picked ingredients and the food is delicous! Their cocktails and desserts are so yum. I picked up some chile oil and pickled local veggies for gifts for my friends! Chef Zarah and the staff are best. Will definitely be returning soon.“
