“Very relaxing ambiance, very large restaurant. The stand outs for our experience was the Turkish coffee service and the Kataifi dessert, they were both amazing. The Branzino was simple and delicious. The Melizanosalata had too much dill.“
“We used to eat dinner here on our way to Davies Symphony Hall 15 years ago. We moved away and just came back this week for a mini vacation. We took a chance today and it was as delicious as ever. We had the chicken kebab plate and the lamb kebab plate and 2 cans of soda for $48. What a bargain. The food is fresh, healthy and plentiful. The flavors are wonderful and the service is very good. It’s clean and neat inside—truly a little gem.“
“Great food and service! We went with some friends and the owners gave us samples of their delicious dips with pita bread. The spitfire chicken salad bowl was delicious. We had kalamari steaks and falafel too. Very delicious. We will definitely be back. Reasonably priced good food.“

Ala Med is a Turkish restaurant but given the broader mediterranean influence, I think people will find a lot of familiar items here.Our table ordered various items:Istanbul trio: Both hummus and haydari were good but I loved the muhammara - this version gave equal importance to both the walnuts and the red peppers and was well balanced with a slight kick from some chili. Eggplant salad: so good, well seasoned, and refreshingManti: meat dumpling with yogurt and tomato sauce- everyone loved itImam fainted: vegetarian eggplant dish - flavorful, easy to eatButcher Kofte: I really liked the seasoning of the meat but didn't love the texture as the meat seemed to be really finely ground but that is a personal preference. I did enjoy the rice and chickpea salad it came with.For dessert there was rice pudding(good) and baklava(average). I liked that everyone got a small cup of tea to finish off the meal.“
“Fantastic Sunday brunch. Was able snag the small area outside for a party of four. Service was swift and food was excellent. A very filling meal for a reasonable price.Dishes were delicious. Maybe the burgers/sliders could use a tad more salt/seasoning but they are indeed juicy and never dry in my experience.Get any type of potatoes and they’ll be prepared to perfection.And the desert/treat dishes were a nice finish. Kunefe with some salted caramel gelato is a wonderful combo.“
“I tried the Panos burger, I never had a burger like this before. The ingredients used work well for the burger. I would recommend to come try this place out. My sister got the same and enjoyed it. My mom got the Dolores omelette and enjoyed it as well. Portion sizes are match well for the price.“
“The best way to cap off a not do fun day of travel was dinner with these three! Even with the changing meet up times, they were all gracious and flexible enough to make it happen and I couldn’t have been happier to break bread with one of my oldest friends, aka The Captain, his wife, and one of the earliest friends I made in the Chicagoland area…and it didn’t hurt that the food was amazing! I’d probably walked past this place several times during my previous visits to Burlingame but never eaten there…my loss!“
“It's been a while since I've eaten here. I've forgotten how big their selection is and how good their food is. This family owned restaurant has been around since 1983, they must be doing something right! Their portions are big enough to feed an army. We walked in with an army, 10 hungry teens, 13 adults and a 10 year old. We ordered pizza, pasta and apps. Nothing beats carb loading on a cold Saturday night. They also offer lots of Mediterranean dishes in this Greek inspired restaurant.“

“We love Ivory and Vine. Hassan is an amazing host, tirelessly running around taking care of everyone! The food is really wonderful as well. The house red is fantastic, and the pour you get is plentiful!! And then, of course, the music is varied and great. Only complaint is it can be at times too loud, but then there are the outside seats (with heaters). A really fantastic place to spend an evening!!!“

Please drop by and show some love, chicken salad comes with a lot of protein and is fairly priced for the area.Old review: I had a hunkering for Mediterranean-style cooked meat and fries. This place hit that spot.Located in FIDI on Battery (between Pine and Battery/Bush intersection). Went at noon and the place was busy but not overwhelmingly so. Slight wait for my food after ordering but that's expected at noon.Food was good and reasonably priced. Ordered the Greek plate with chicken. Came with a bunch of fries, meat, a big dollop of tzhiki (sp?) sauce and some pita bread. It was good.I'll be back to try a salad next time. 3.6 stars that rounds up to 4 stars for the service.“

After visiting the place and meeting the owner, I decided to choose Odyssey for a bulk pizza order (15 XL pizzas and salad) for a non-profit event. I am so happy I went with Odyssey Pizzeria Taqueria. Under fairly new management, it seemed as if they had been doing this for a very long time! From the personal customer service, proactive follow-up, and accommodating my requests, Odyssey went above and beyond my expectations. The space is small with a few tables and chairs outside. “Our experience was marred because of a large table of very loud young men. It was difficult to have a conversation. I wish people would be more considerate, and realize that there are other people in a restaurant. Otherwise, the food and service was very good. I have been coming to this restaurant for years and was happy to see some new choices on the menu. “
“This place was fine. We were able to make a reservation which is nice. The staff was friendly if not super attentive (we had to ask for the check). The food was good and came quickly. We ordered the Kale salad which was quite good and a good sharing size. We also got the dolmades which were just average (not bad, but not a lot of flavor). For our main meal we ordered the mixed grill which was a nice size to share. Everything was cooked fine (the chicken was a little 'over') it just lacked flavor overall. No idea if they have desserts because we weren't offered any and then we had to ask for the check and head out to our show. The atmosphere was good (if a little dark), the food was fine, and the prices were decent. If someone suggested we go there again I'd be fine with that, but I probably wouldn't recommend it since there are so many other options to try in SF (or even just on Polk street).“

“The food is pretty average (I usually get the lamb wrap and it feels pretty healthy, but sometimes a bit dry)... but that baklava froyo is to-die for. It's fast Mediterranean, so you order at the counter and get your food quick -- but there's also only a few options on the menu. I've been to multiple Souvla locations (Mission, Hayes, Marina) and the quality has been pretty consistent across shops. The inside atmosphere is nice -- clean tables, self-serve water, usually not super packed and easy to find a seat. All in all a good casual spot when you're looking to grab something quick either alone or with friends“

I had a booth for the Crystal Fair held in the Country Fair building across the street.Park Gyros came and took orders for all of the vendors and hand delivered them!They were very friendly and accommodating and went above and beyond for us!Not to mention the food was delicious. Day 1 of the fair I had a chicken wrap that was bursting with flavor.Day 2 I had the medit. Combo plate! Highly recommend both of these dishes.Huge shout out to Veysel for his huge heart and for the delivery of our lunches!!I wasn't able to catch the name of the gentleman who delivered our lunch on day 1 but he was also incredible!“
“Came for a quick weekday lunch. I ordered the lamb and beef gyro plate (came with white and hot sauce) and baklava the size of your thumb. Good portions and prices are reasonable as you would expect eating in FiDi. Meat is seasoned well. Pilaf rice is bland but cooked properly.“
“Detroit style pizza is great. They make amazing cheese. During baking, the cheese melts completely into the pizza, and then it becomes chewy and delicious. For those who haven't tried it, don't hesitate and definitely try it. This is very excellent.“

“I had the salmon wrap and it had salmon in almost every bite. Loaded with veggies and came with a small side salad. The dressing on the salad was so good I asked for more to put on my wrap. I will drive 20 min just for this wrap so please don’t change a thing. The manager was super nice. Thanks for a great meal!“
“A standard diner atmostphere- very clean, though not immaculate and that is probably because they hadn't had much of a chance to clean up from some previous customers- I was not bothered. I give three stars for atmosphere because it is an average sort of diner experience- but also I wasn't looking for anything too fancy- it is partly why I came. The staff is very friendly and accomdating- great service, and fast. I had the gyro with fries and the food was excellent! The gyro did not come with fries- they are ordered seperate and the drinks are cans and bottles from a large glass refrigerator. The order of fries cost about $5 and is seemingly a little small for that price- but they are very good- so I was not displeased. They are served in a cardbaord box- which is the perfect way for them to travel, allowing them to breathe and not become soggy from steam- and that is expert packaging, for fries- I know this. They are thin-style and slightly crispy- perfectly cooked. The gyro was large and more of a wrap style than 'taco' style- which made it less messy to eat than from other places I get gyros from- it is also expertly wrapped in tin foil. The hot sauce they gave me was *very spicy- I liked it very much. I came here because it was the closest place to where I was staying and I was exhausted and my feet hurt really bad, and I discovered my hotel did not have room service. Took the food back to my room and was very pleased with my meal- ended a stressful day with a smile. I will return here when I am in the area, again.“

“Super nice staff. First time here at Spark Social after missing my rowing class across the street. Seriously who locks their doors before class starts with lights off and leaves just their dog roaming in the lobby? Ordered at the tablet but I also see some people paying with tickets, not sure where they bought the tickets and whether it is a better deal. Got the combo plate $18 which is a great deal for a huge amount of food -soft pita, well-seasoned chicken and beef shavings, salad, fluffy rice, and plump fries plus a side of hummus. Everything was so good and satisfied my halal craving. If it is not so difficult to get to this part of town, I'd be back on the regular.“
“My go to place. Literally down to go here anytime all the time. It’s healthy, tasty, and comfy. Everything is good but I’ve made it a traditional to eat the fries dipped in their olive oil yoghurt. Dine in sitting inside is a bit lame/sterile but the back patio is lovely and even cozier on chillier nights with maybe a glass of wine. Service is always friendly and fast.“
