“Friendly, elegantly set up, and good service - what's not to like? Early lunch on a weekday with a professional connection. It was almost empty (some folks came for takeout). We appreciated the flexibility on beverages, and the great flavors on both our sandwiches.“

“We were pleasantly surprised with this place. There is a nice variety of foods available here. The overall ambiance is nice, with several somewhat private places to conduct business meeting. There is a pool table and other tabletop shuffle board. Service was great. Orders can be placed at any number of touchscreen kiosks. When your order is ready you will get a text. Sit anywhere. We definitely need to explore having our admin meeting here next time. Definitely will be back.“

“I've been staying and working in South San Francisco this week without a car. Have dined there for lunch 2 days in a row now, and both days I also brought back dinner to my hotel for the evening. Everything has been delicious with fresh ingredients. Really creative and elevated offerings for a quick service restaurant. The salmon was especially amazing! I had 2 really dismal experiences earlier in the week with Doordash and only wish I had tried Foundry & Lux sooner. I'll be back tomorrow before heading back home on Saturday 😀“

“Liholiho is a fantastic restaurant! The space is modern and beautifully designed, with an open kitchen where you can watch everything being prepared, which adds a lot of energy and transparency to the dining experience.
The service was very friendly, attentive, and quick. The cocktails were excellent, and even the non-alcoholic one I ordered was made with care and tasted great.
The food was outstanding. The bun with beef tongue was extraordinary, the tuna tartare and ceviche were perfectly balanced and fresh, and the shrimps with crispy rice were especially memorable. All dishes showed creativity, originality, and were prepared with high quality ingredients.
For three people, including first and main courses, drinks, and one dessert, the bill came to $260, which I found fair for this level of quality. The only minus point is that the restaurant does not offer coffee, which would have been a nice way to finish the meal.
Overall, I really enjoyed everything at Liholiho. Highly recommended, and I hope I will get to return again!“

“We absolutely loved our experience at Spruce. The food was phenomenal, the cocktails were amazing, and the ambience was truly spectacular. Every course on the prix fixe menu was superb and the pricing felt very fair overall. The only surprise was the truffle add-on, which was $95. While the flavor was out of this world, the portion size made it feel like it should have been closer to $60. Still, it didn't take away from how fantastic the evening was. The service was warm and attentive, and the entire experience was memorable enough that we're already planning to come back. I even asked why the restaurant isn't currently Michelin-rated, because it genuinely feels like it should be. I was told that Spruce previously held a Michelin star and lost it due to some past service hiccups — but based on our experience, I truly believe Spruce deserves to have that star back. Highly recommend!“

“We walked in on NYE without a reservation and they graciously found us a spot in the bar area. Service was on point and staff were festively dressed! I love a crafty cocktail but most are too sweet. I had the Smokey mezcal cocktail 🍹. Perfection. Appetizers were delish as well. Perfect way to start our NYE celebrations.“

“Prospect pleasantly pleased palette-possibilities perfectly! 🙃 . . I opened with the Candace cocktail—Gin, Licor 43, St. Germaine, Peychaud’s and a citrus slice—flirted with my inner #Hedonist in a way that every cocktail should. Each sip sparkled with hints of sweet and sour with salacious depth. I find so much inspiration at the bottom of a glass… . . Then I went with my favorite protein, braised octopus; nested in squid ink gnocchi with an almond relish! It was a dope expression of land and sea in every bite. . . Followed, was the mushroom lasagna; layered with trumpets and truffles, dusted with lemon-shallot bread crumbles. It gave a béchamel-type flavor that was rich, luxurious and lingering. . . Finally—ending with the Scallops grounded in a Venetian black rice, sorrel butter and fennel sofrito! The sear was sensually done; perfectly caramelized Andy succulently sinful. . . “Best salmon preparation ever! As you can see in the picture it was very moist. It was well seasoned and seared deliciously. The corn soup was rich and creamy. Pulled pork was also good although it could’ve used more sauce it was still yummy. Even though the side salad had only one ingredient (lettuce) it was absolutely delicious with a tasty dressing. Staff were friendly and attentive. Nice atmosphere with a bit of view of the bay. We found a gem in SF and will definitely come back. 👍👍“

“Key Klub is a bit tucked away, but absolutely worth the short walk or taxi—especially if you’re after a lively, good-vibes-only kind of night. It’s part of the same crew behind Bodega in North Beach (also great), but this spot leans a little rowdier—in the best way.
Expect a cool, chatty, very San Francisco crowd where everyone somehow looks like they’ve walked out of a magazine shoot.
Mostly wine and beer on offer, plus some top-notch nibbles. Staff are fun, prices are decent, and the whole place just hums with great energy. Strongly recommended for a buzzy evening out.“

“This dinner was about as perfect as I could have hoped for. I will admit, I was nervous at first. Ive been to Alinea in the past and was very disappointed by the experience. I was worried this may also be over-hyped, but wow! What a dinner. The food was spot on in every instance with a generous amount of food. They had so much creativity and innovation throughout the dinner. The staff was so kind. Not stuffy at all. I loved it. My girlfriend and I came for her birthday and they made her a cake, which was a great final touch to the already flawless dinner. We hope to return again!“

“Atmosphere: it was quiet easy to talk in. The decor is nice and the tables where comfy. The glassware was phenomenal, super thin and the dishware was beautiful.
Drinks: Some of the best cocktail's I've had an at any Michelin restaurant. All I got to say is I hate gin, and the cocktail my partner ordered got me to like gin. I liked the drink so much, I would go back for it. I'm learning to like wine, and they taught me how to love it. The wine selection was amazing, and I was trying not to order bottles of every glass I tasted. Though I do now have a bottle of Chacra.
Food: One of the best meals I've ever had, and something I regularly think back to. The sturgeon chowder with the caviar was the clear stand out for me even above all the meats. I still think back to it. The cherry tomatoes with the spot prawns and to be honest I enjoyed more than spot prawn (which was still amazing and the best prawn I've had in my life). The micro herbs on top and the vinaigrette was astounding. Just in general the vegetables for the dishes made me realize I have never eaten a truly well cooked vegetable. The meats where amazing, the rabbit and antelope stood out to me over the wagyu. The rabbit was my favorite meat dish of the night, my partner was super hesitant about eating it, but after that night she's asked me to cook rabbit more often for date nights. The antelope had this sweetness to the meat, which after asking is due to the preparation. The spot prawn was soft, and with a custardy umami flavor. Obviously everything was well prepared and technical but the halibut course had be doing research. I enjoy cooking at home but that dish made me question my fish and rice preparation just because I was constantly thinking 'how did they do that'. The deserts as you'd expect also amazing with the rhubarb being my favorite by far. It motivated me to cook with rhubarb more often.
Service: The staff where wonderful, easy to talk. I always have question's about food and they would be willing to answer or go to the chef. I really do appreciate them and they made the evening wonderful. The sommelier was one of the best restaurant staff I've had the pleasure of interacting with. He was nice, informative. I saw him help another table find a good place for the evening to continue drinks after they had finished their meal. The chef took time to take pictures with other guest's and speak with them.
Overall: Unforgettable and I will be coming back for sure.“

“The restaurant has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door. The environment is vibrant with warm lighting, rustic wooden tables, and friendly staff who will go out of their way to ensure you have a memorable visit. I ordered their famous lemon ricotta pancakes, which were perfectly fluffy, tangy, and served with crispy potatoes that were seasoned just right. The freshness of the ingredients really stood out, making every bite an absolute treat. What I loved most about dining at The Plough was the sense of community and comfort that one felt while dining. “I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. I am a business owner a few doors down and I wandered in with a friend after work one night about a month ago. We were met with such incredible warmth from the staff and the environment itself, even without a reservation. We sat at the bar and were greeted by Josh, only to find out later that he is the owner. He made excellent recommendations on everything from our drinks to dessert. The bar didn’t feel isolated from the rest of the restaurant and guests, but rather was lively hub frequented by kitchen and serving staff and warmed by a smoldering wood fire. The coziest. We swooned for the poke appetizer, complete with house-made toasted, but not crisp, blue corn tortillas. The pork shoulder tacos—also to die for. I have to say though, that the star on the sidelines was the beans. I honestly didn’t know I could feel this way about beans…but I digress. Josh bounced around from table to table all night, never letting a single ball drop, making every guest feel like *his* guest. A pot de crème sealed the evening in perfect bliss. I’m back a month later with the same friend, eating different and somehow even more incredible entrees: ribeye, halibut and a rhubarb crisp for dessert. I scarcely ever take the time to write a review as I prefer to vote with my $ and my feet, but I simply couldn’t eat here again without taking the time to sing it’s praises. Eat here.“

“I recently celebrated my birthday at Kiln SF, and it was truly unforgettable. We indulged in their 20-course tasting menu, which was a culinary journey from start to finish. Each course was beautifully presented, thoughtfully explained, and absolutely delicious; an experience that went far beyond just a meal.
What really stood out was the level of detail and personalization. At the end of the evening, the staff surprised me with a Polaroid photo of my husband and I, and a customized menu with our name’s and celebration printed on it. It felt so special and added such a personal touch to the celebration.
The atmosphere was intimate yet lively, with Kendrick Lamar, Mac Miller, Kid Cudi, and similar artists playing softly in the background, creating such a cool and personal vibe that elevated the entire evening. The service was impeccable, and every bite showcased the creativity and passion of the kitchen. Kiln SF exceeded all expectations and made my birthday feel incredibly memorable.
Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for an extraordinary dining experience in San Francisco!
