“Oh my GOODNESS this place did not disappoint. We had to make a reservation some 30 days in advance but it was well worth it.There’s something so easy about having a little plate brought around right to you and being able to say “Yes I want that right now please” and just being able to eat it immediately. Absolutely divine. And the flavors were just I N C R E D I B L E. Every dish had some many layers to it, it was just amazing.1000/10 would recommend!“
“We came here after a long urban hike with ravenous appetites. It was late noon but cafe was moderately full. Soon we were seated, welcomed with house special cauliflower & lavender soups. It was delicious and moth watering. I ordered potatoe and sage torte along with lemon & blueberry tart. Trust me ! We all had sumptuous lunch here. I will highly recommend this place who love vegan foods. I am sure ,here you will enjoy foods too.“
“I can see why this place has 5 stars. Very friendly staff and very clean, the food was delicious and the OJ was very unique. I had the breakfast sando with croissant. Also had the potatoes very delicious. Would like to see an ALL Organic plate instead of only some items for the price but overall very tastey.“
“When I go to a Mediterranean restaurant. I always have to try the mezza. That's what I really wanna eat then. It's delicious. We ordered the mezza, the grilled chicken, mensef, baklava and berry lemonade they're all delicious. The service is fast. And the servers are friendly. I do think they should play more Arab and middle eastern music. I didn't like the whole Tame Impala sounding music they played.“
“Maybe my favorite restaurant in the (Inner) Richmond, a hood with killer food. I'm usually not the biggest fan of Japanese but this was so excellently executed and a style of Japanese dining that I haven't encountered that frequently. Service and ambiance are excellent but definitely still low key.“
“What a great spot to hit up on a Saturday night, staff were super friendly and made the night enjoyable! There was a live DJ which made the ambience amazing. Can’t go wrong with anything you order, we really loved the octopus and steak!! (Steak was so tender and melts in your melt)You should also try their cocktails, uno and quatro… they were very good!** PS don’t forget to bring something to trade in !“
“Beyond outstanding food and service. The quality and freshness of their seafood is what makes this place a gem. Their weeknight deals are totally worthwhile and make for a great weeknight date! It’s also family friendly with high chairs and self seating both indoor and out. Yum! I’ll keep coming back.“
“As a Londoner, I don’t often get good Mexican food on a regular basis, so I might not be the best person to judge Mexican food. But the shrimp taco (Taco tropical) is honestly the best taco I’ve ever had! It was bursting with flavour, soft melting shrimp and the jicama tortilla added such a twist on the flavour. Every dish really impressed me with a really refreshing cocktail on the side.Really cool vibe in the restaurant and definitely worth trying out“
“My first time to visit this restaurant. It reminded me of Japan. The atmosphere is also similar to Japanese style! Wooo! We ordered "Toro Ikura Uni Don" even though we were almost full. lol But It was amazing! We never regretted!❤️Love it!❤️“
“Lovely, delicious anniversary dinner at BANSANG. The food was outstanding - every dish was balanced, flavorful, and well executed. Service was prompt and kind, and the portions were well sized. We started with the Miso Salmon Dip, the Charred Broccoli, and the Soy Glazed Potatoes. Salmon dip with the blini were a highlight, delicious cured fish flavor with the miso umami and fresh, warm blini. For the large plates we had the cod and galbi ribeye, both were fantastic. The cod melted in your mouth and paired perfectly with the rich buttery gochugang sauce. The galbi was tender and with the banchan made for some perfect bites.Finished it all off the banana milk ice cream for a wonderful meal. Overall, really enjoyed the flavors and textures on all the dishes. The portions were small but allowed us to try many different things without walking away bursting at the seams. Thanks BANSANG for a lovely evening.“
“Lovely restaurant! The ambience is amazing. Every dish we got was beautifully presented, delicious and unusual. I don't know why it was not more packed but pleasantly quiet. Great place for a great meal. A nice occasion or just a yummy dinner.“
“If you want the happy hour menu, you have to sit at the bar or window, all of which are high top chairs and not accessible for disabled people. It’a a dumb policy and they should consider more accessible seating for those who cannot sit in high top chairs. Great food though - the beef empenada, beet gazpacho, and ensalada were my favorites.“
“This place is a gem! They have great music and excellent cocktails. The house Martini is fantastic. It's the most unique take on a martini I've ever had, while still being clearly a martini. The bartender was friendly and prompt, and provided impeccable service. Highly recommended!“
“I can’t believe I never reviewed this restaurant. We eat here regularly at the restaurant and for takeout. The food is delicious for adults and for children. My son really loves the salmon teriyaki and the veggie sushi; I love their unique appetizers / tapas and their sushi. Reliable and one of the best restaurants in Castro and Noe.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly“
“We enjoyed everything about our meal at Barcha. The food came quickly and was delicious. We tried many appetizers to start, shared among the 6 of us, and the moved on to the main courses which included the vegan lamb (outstanding), scallops and another entree that featured duck and came with a tasty, crunchy rice. Our server was friendly, efficient, and unobtrusive. We dined on an early Saturday evening and found the atmosphere pleasant and fairly quiet. We'll be back!“
“They have good beer options, cocktail selections and shots. The atmosphere is really amazing with a couple of couches and tables. Wall decoration, coloring and lightings are beautiful. Bar seating is also available.Parking: Street parking is difficult at evening and nights due to busy area. Street parking is paid until 6:00 pm.“
“Stopped here for a quick lunch while visiting family at CPMC. I enjoy finding different cuisines when in SF and Piroo was a great find. While they don’t have an extensive menu, they have more than enough options to suit any tastes. I had the pork jhol momo and it was great. Just the right amount of savory and spice to make it memorable. They also serve beer and wine to round out your meal.“
“My friend recommended I check this place out. What a wonderful experience. It is a very cozy homey space great wine, lasagna to die for, small bites and salad were excellent too and great company. Owners are super friendly and fun to chat with. Had to bring my husband there. He loved it as well. And a 20% discount happy hour is cherry on top.“
“You can never go wrong with Cha Cha Cha’s! We just had a huge family lunch here and ate family style. Of course our favorite Cajun shrimp and calamari was the go to. Warm spinach salad is absolutely delicious and the bread and butter is unmatched. Service is top notch, cocktails were amazing, The Mamacita was to die for!“
“Good menu offerings. A couple of tapas we ordered were on the salty side, but the skirt steak was delicious. Service could improve... had wave down waiters for water refills, then again for ordering dessert and coffee. Espresso was delivered, but had to ask for sugar and a spoon.“
“The best sandwiches, drinks, and smoothies in Nob Hill! They have breakfast and lunch items. We come here for breakfast all the time.Get their Lavender Latte (or any one of their smoothies!) and Bacon, Egg, Cheese Everything Bagel (my husband likes the English Breakfast Sandwich) - they're to DIE for!!!Everyone is extremely friendly, kind, and the service is prompt and professional!“
“Delicious creative food. Pleasant, fast service. All at a surprisingly affordable price. So I had extra summer rolls with my brunch because it didn't break the bank! Parking was easy at the MTA North Beach garage a block away. I had a reservation but I think I could have been seated without one, too.Vegetarian options: I had the vegetarian steak brunch and it was tasty!“
“Great spot for tapas and outdoor seating! This place offers delicious tapas and excellent service. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. When the weather is warm, they have great outdoor seating, adding another option for a pleasant dining experience.“
“Best damn brewery in SF. This place had a cozy neighborhood feel while being friendly and welcoming to guests from all over. The brewer has decades of experience and has pioneered a true onsite microbrewery atmosphere with a dynamic tap list and simple yet tasty food menu. Perfect for after work drinks or grabbing a 4 pack of freshly made cans to go!“
“We love going to Terzo-it never disappoints. Atmosphere is good-lighting excellent with a nice buzz to the room. Our server we've had multiple times and the continuity in staff says a lot . We split the arugula salad/grilled asparagus /meatballs on polenta and split a main entree the Greek chicken -with the exception of the aspragus which was pedestrian everything else was terrific-highlights were the meatballs/polenta and the Greek chicken—there's always something new on the wines by the glass list -had the Chianti Classico and the Timorasso-server was terrific as usual-we'll be back-“
“I started with Ensalade de Palmito (heart of palm salad). Very balanced and light salad. I loved the delicate taste. Then Hueso Asado (bone marrow) was cooked right. Medium rare Hager stake was great. My most favorite is Alcachofa (charred artichoke). Amazing marination and taste. I will definitely come back.“
“This is THE best and authentic Greek food in CA. The staff, food and atmosphere is worth the wait and travel. Marcos and Rafeal have been part of my experience over the last two trips to CA for business and every time I have brought someone new and for business. You will NOT be disappointed.“
“This was a wonderful dining experience. The atmosphere was stylish: marble topped tables and gold chairs, with subdued lighting. The food was exquisite. I started with the roasted cauliflower, made with dates, mint, and harissa tahini sauce. I ordered it because it sounded exotic, and. . . I thought I’d died and gone to heaven! I will order this again! And I followed that with the Caprese pizza (mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, and basil). It was, in a word, delicious! The crust was marvelous: soft and slightly chewy. I shouldn’t be surprised. The Turks have the best bread. I will definitely be back, but also want to try the sister restaurant, Mykonos.“
“It is safe to say that my mission to find the best chicken teriyaki in the city of SF has been accomplished. Ike's chicken is grilled and has the charred consistency and taste to it. Their chicken is juicy, tender, and NOT slimey. This, along with their sauce, their salad, their miso soup, and even their asparagus, makes this a divine dining experience. Ike's Japanese Kitchen is an SF gem ? ✨️ <3“
“Great food and amazing vibes, love the texture of the food and portions, they could do better with the seating since the table was wobbly and it was a little tight when other started to come in for dinner. Wish we were seated at a booth since we came in early.“
“I normally order the wings, warm Spinach salad, new style potatoes, chicken pallard, and the beans and rice. This visit was a short visit and I was alone and discovered the arroz con pollo. That's going to be my new favorite. It has plenty of chicken, peppers, olives and comes with beans as well!! Yaaasss!!! The white sangria on this evening quenched my thirst.“
“Stumbled (literally) upon this place looking for an after dinner night cap and was so pleasantly surprised by this small tapas bar. Only drank wine but want to come back to enjoy the full experience soon! Unfortunately was a super drunken loud party there but I’m sure this is a great date spot and look forward to bringing my partner back sometime soon. Super friendly staff as well!“
“My friend and I stumbled upon Grape in the Fog at the end of an incredible California road trip. The ambiance is amazing, wonderful wine and delicious food. We shared the meatballs and the hummus plate and both were fabulous. We finished with the waffle with strawberries and vanilla whip cream and a trio of cheesecakes (lime, coconut and pineapple). I highly recommend stopping in to this cozy wine bar.“
“Do you like a place that's locally owned, well this is the place. The owner is there working with the staff making sure everyone is having a great time. Great bartenders. The sliders are truly something your taste buds will marvel at. They are presented on an English muffin that's lightly toasted and served with just a little mayo. The shrimp are served in a garlic butter that just makes your mouth water. The chips and guacamole were probably some of the freshest I've ever had, I had to wonder if she picked the avocados off the tree that morning.“
“One of my favorite places. 1st, it has the best and friendliest service of anywhere in town! The food never disappoints. I like to go earlier in the evening before it gets too crowded and noisy. I don’t like to eat a meal with a friend when it’s too loud to have a conversation. Would recommend this place for great service and food!“
“DASH has been a favorite of ours since before they moved from behind the theater. The food is consistently good, the service is good, and while it's pricier than some of the lower end sushi places it's still a good deal for what you get. My wife picked DASH for my surprise 40th birthday party and they accommodated 8 of us easily.“
“This place has great atmosphere, authentic Spanish tapas, average wine and cold beer ? (if you want the honest truth). I recommended the squid in ink, tortilla de patata, jamón ibérico, croquetas, chorizo, mussels, gazpacho, and mushrooms. Honestly you can’t really go wrong with food. If you’re coming on the weekend with more than two people, make a reservation.“
“Great hotel restaurant, but ridiculously overpriced. I met a co-worker for a business breakfast, and it cost me over $60 for myself alone for eggs Benedict, black coffee, and orange juice. It was good, but it was as good as other places where I've paid half that price. Buyer beware.“
“There are a few small plates available from each of several Mediterranean cuisines. The overall collection is somewhat eclectic, but the quality was consistently very good and mixing the different styles worked. The wine list is also good and fairly representative of the different cuisines.“
“My fiance and I visit this restaurant before a recent concert located at Oracle Park, home of the San Francisco Giants. We ordered drinks and pizza. Both were reasonably priced and were generous serving sizes. The setting was similar to a lounge/speakeasy vibe. It was a beautiful restaurant where we were able to get seated quickly in the early afternoon. During our visit we noticed it getting busier as time went on. If you plan on visiting during dinner hours we suggest that you make a reservation. The quality food, attentive service, and beautiful spacious setting was memorable. We will be visiting this restaurant whenever we are in the area.“
“Both bartenders in Friday night were extremely excellent. Matt was great with patron interactions and I unfortunately forget the name of the other bartender on shift, but he made an excellent drink reccomendation that was an instant favourite.“
“Great food, with excellent use of seasoning and authentic recipes. The atmosphere was low lighting and felt intimate with the music to cover conversation. The booth had plenty of room for 4 people. The menu had a good selection and all ingredients were very fresh. Steak was a bit chewy, but flavor was excellent. Service was a bit slow at times, with the waiter missing for 5 min or so when we were ready to order. The busser was fantastic. We will definitely be back for more!“
“I passed this place many times over the years but never found the moment to explore it. Today was just the right moment, as I was looking for a place where I could eat by myself without feeling completely out of place. Etcetera really has a good vibe. I like the ceiling decor which gives u a bit of a lost traveller feeling that found his port for a brief moment. The live music was spot on, a cool jazz band playing. Not too loud just right to get you into the mood. Their wine selection is very extensive and covers all corners of the globe. I like their menu, a good combination of small bites, appetizers and of course their flat breads are done right. Crisp thin crust great for sharing or indulging by yourself. Well doneI'll be back“
“Best cocktails in the area. Staff is awesome and they remember my drink every time I come in. I can go months and even a year and they still remember me and my order. I stay at the Westin when I'm in San Francisco just for the Clock Bar.“
“I love this restaurant, The staff are extremely friendly, it's worker's owned, prices are very reasonable especially relative to rising costs at other restaurants. I come here very often, order the pitcher of sangria and the rabbit stew (so so good). Good for dates, group hangs, solo dinners. They give free bread and salsa brava once you sit down. One of my favorite restaurants in SF.“
“Randomly found this spot last year but was quite difficult to walk in without reservation so reservations are highly recommended...but why you ask? Well put simply great paella ? made as close to homemade as I have seen in Bay area...they are in the pricey side but we'll put together and most importantly very tasty and crispy enough. Tried the Iberian paella which is their most popular and I can see why..balanced with chicken and pork but also seafood. There is one salad option which is good along with many traditional tapas and good selecion of wines and Spanish beers. Inside feels like a club house with rich materials and warm lighting and full back wall bar. There is bar seating which is nice for walk ins but with limited seating. Parking is ample on street and is free. Service is limited and thin when place is full and so don't go if you are in a time pinch...but rather a night out...place is on small side inside so large groups should call ahead for accommodations. Whether legal or not Service charges are automatically added to tab at about 20% so be prepared in case you are not accustomed yo this charge. Overall good place to try for food and ambiance in Belmont.Parking: Plenty for size of this restaurantKid-friendliness: Not recommended for kids...perhaps older as it will test their patience“
“We were in town for Valentine's Day so I made a reservation here. I knew it would be busy, which it was, but the service was still great. We were taken care of quickly, our waters were always full (which is important to me), the wine was great and the food was even better. All the wait staff were friendly, and helpful. I would definitely recommend Pulpo if you are in the area!“
“We walked in here with my fiancé for drinks after dinner. Luckily, we were seated at a table with a view of Pier 39. We ordered martinis, which were just okay. Our server wasn't very friendly. The ambiance is okay, but a bit old-fashioned.“
“What a relief! These days service and quality are often neglected in favor of atmosphere. Not here, just off a horrible service experience we were hesitant to try the Starlite. Upon arrival, the floor manager immediately engaged us, heard our recent disappointing experience, brought us to the service bar to hand mix several sample cocktails whereupon we chose to take a single seat at the bar. He continued to check on us and offered a table, should we like. He even stopped by again to check how I liked my martini. Our bartender was a sensation, to say the least. Professional, courteous and engaging plus demonstrated excellent balance and craftsmanship of cocktails. All of this with expansive cityscape views and great music, that's not too loud.“
“I was in this restaurant with my parents, we really liked everything, the atmosphere was super, the music was pleasant and not loud. We got there in the evening and there were few people and the service was fast. The waiter was very friendly and pleasant. I ordered salad and quesadilla, and my parents Pescado Al Ajillo and gazpacho, everything was served hot and was really delicious. The drinks were also tasty. Everything about that evening was fantastic, the food, the wine, the service, also the interior created a very nice atmosphere. We would definitely recommend it to anyone.“
