“Every time I visit GK Pastry in Mountain View, I usually get the jalapeño cheddar bread (so satisfyingly good, toasted or not), but this time I tried the tomato cheddar bread—crunchy exterior, soft and chewy interior. Awesome toasted. My other go-to is the chocolate jar cake. The chocolate they use is delicious, not too sweet. This time I had the mixberry jar cake. A nice, change-up. Never disappointed. Definitely try and support this local bakery! They opened a new location in Los Altos, too.“

But their flavors were quite subtle, and afterward we both thought that the eating pleasure we got from them wasn't worth the calories.“

“She is wonderful to work with. I have used her twice now. Once for a Mickey Mouse Twoodles cake and just recently for a baby shower. We got lemon for the cake and snickerdoodle for the cupcakes and when I tell you everyone loved them both. Her cakes are delicious and she does and amazing job with decorating them you send her a picture of what you want and she will not disappoint.“

“I haven't been to their store but I used to buy their cookies when they would sell them at Coffee and Water Lab. The ginger one was my favorite and I would always ask for it when I would go. I was sad to hear they weren't selling them there anymore, but so happy to hear they have a store now in Los Gatos! I will definitely be stopping by soon. Their cookies are delicious so I'm glad they have their own store now!“

I would like to specially callout the service was excellent-from being able to pretty much place and order without phone call and just by whattsapp to being really flexible with the pick up time. “My go-to bagel place. Frequently busy, but for good reason, the food is excellent and tasty. My favorites include the California Club sandwich on Dutch Crunch and the Eggwich with Turkey and Swiss. However, it is very difficult to go wrong as you have a great selection of delicious freshly-baked bagels and rolls.

The staff are wonderful and always take care to get the best food possible to customers. Only slight drawback is that the interior can get crowded, so worth keeping in mind if you want to eat at the restaurant (though there are two tables outside as well).“

“A very small Asian bakery, where Egg Head used to be.

The mochi ball puff is very delicious. The mochi ball has a slightly chewy texture and is filled with cream that is not too sweet.
It is very dense and delicious, especially the chocolate cream with rice crackers that enhance the taste.

The cake looks beautiful and is available in smaller sizes. I will try it next time.

“Mmmmmm soft fluffly cheesecake. If you want more egg heavy cheesecake, Uncle Tetsu might not be a good option for you. The ube cheesecake is always tasty, but I was not a fan of the Oreo cheesecake. The Oreo cheesecake was just the classic with bits and pieces of Oreo, doesn't taste at all like Oreos unfortunately. Recommend the classic, ube, and pandan coconut flavors!“

This place is small, like a maze, but has so much packed in it. They have coffee, chocolate (drink), bionicos, desserts, sandwiches and other quick foods.
It’s a nice corner store with the basics. Generally busy, especially in the morning and after office hours. Don't expect white glove service, but they will help if you ask.“

When you order, they provide weekly updates on the status of your oven. As the shipping date approaches they send materials and info to ensure you are ready to receive it. It is packed extremely well, and this thing is built to last. We own several other ovens (2 Unox and 1 blodgett) and this oven is in a whole different class compared to those. It has worked seamlessly for us. Our true test came when I needed to replace a door seal last week. I wasn’t sure where to reach out so I sent a message to their contact us page on their website. Within a few hours someone had sent me a text “just to confirm my address” and they shipped us a new door seal immediately, no charge and express shipping. It arrived at my door in Canada 2 days later. They sent me a video detailing how to do the replacement, AND a real person followed up to see if it went ok. This company is absolutely going above and beyond in every way. Do not hesitate to buy an oven here!!“
