“Probably best to try to visit during slower times as we found free parking pretty close, which was nice. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time and service was very friendly and attentive, like the definition of why we love small businesses. Since I was dining with my husband we did the ole half and half so I got to try the Oklahoma Sunset and the Our Go To Italian. While the Oklahoma Sunset isn't really my style when it comes to sandwiches, I couldn't argue with the overwhelming love for it in the reviews so I went that route and was so glad I did. I was less impressed with the Italian, but, and that's a big BUT, I don't like parsley and that was, for me, the dominant flavor in the herb oil. So while I wouldn't recommend that sandwich, it's just preference. My husband enjoyed both but the clear winner was the Oklahoma Sunset. Definitely will be back and looking forward to it.“
“Amazing food! The owner was very kind. As soon as we got there, he came out with truffles for each of us, which were so amazing! Fresh and chocolatey and wonderful. We had ordered our food in advance, and I read in some reviews that they had a gluten-free option for the bread. My partner got a tuna sandwich and I got the turkey sandwich gluten-free, which is served on an arepa. It was delicious, and the first gluten-free sandwich I have been able to get out since I stopped eating gluten almost a year ago. My partner loved his sandwich, and it was gone in minutes. Highly recommend, and we will definitely be back!“

“Located across the parking lot of the Farmer's Market pyramid on Gothard Street (near the intersection of Gothard and Edinger in Huntington Beach), this is a small, family-owned restaurant specializing in sandwiches (hot and cold) and broasted chicken (a special cooking process combining pressure-frying and traditional shallow frying, to produce juicy fried chicken with a crispy outer layer). The chicken is VERY GOOD: crispy on the outside, juicy and very tasty on the inside. It's not as greasy as conventional deep-fried chicken, and therefore it's much easier on your stomach. You can get the chicken in combos (2-piece, 3-piece, 5-piece etc.), with or without sides (you get to pick 2) and a fountain drink. Or you can simply order as many pieces as you like a la carte. The potatoes were excellent: you get huge chunks (basically 2 per potato) that are crispy on the outside but soft as baked potatoes on the inside. Great idea, I loved it! We also tried one of their hot sandwiches, specifically the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. The sandwich is 9" long, good size for a whole meal, and still a good size to share if you're also eating something else. Maybe it's not as out-of-the-world fantastic as John's Philly Grille (which I consider by far the best Philly Cheesesteak in Orange Co.), but it's not that far off. It's pretty simple: thinly-sliced ribeye steak, provolone cheese, onions, and mushrooms. Pretty much the original recipe, except maybe for the mushrooms (a concession to West Coast taste, maybe? Personally, I love mushrooms in a Philly Cheesesteak!) The service was excellent. The wait was about 15 minutes from order, which is very reasonable (if the food is too fast, chances are it's not that good...) Highly recommended.“

Comes with a choice of sides, and unfortunately, they don't have French fries. So we got Cole slaw. The waitstaff is on point with good service and being attentive. Won’t be ordering that again but would come back for the potatoes if I can’t find a better place. FYI the place is located in a really run down part of town with a lot of homeless people walking around. I wouldn’t bring kids anywhere near here. The beef was grilled to perfection and everything just tasted right for this banh mi from the do chua (carrots and daikon) to the grilled beef itself. So delicious. I would recommend to try out this banh mi. It's totally worth it. Com Nuong Ca Salmon (Grilled Salmon with Rice) 5/5 The sauce for the ca nuong was delicious and rich in flavor. It went well in harmony with the salad and salmon. The ranch sauce for the salad for the salad was also pretty good. Quesadillas: 3/5 I could not really taste the melted cheese in the quesadilla or it was kind of bland for me. Aged 26 Days Rib Eye Steak: 4.5/5 The owner was kind enough to offer us some rib eye steak. This is one of the best steaks I've ever had. The meat was so soft and tender and the meat was creamy and full of flavor. I would get this again. It was so good. The problem was only the portion size. They offer a variety of drinks just like your take out places for Viet to go places that are good. Overall, the service was friendly with it being a little slow for the wait for the food. The shop is clean and well appointed with a bar area with fun chairs and a place to hang your purse! The service is friendly and the staff is very knowledgeable and can recommend anything you want per your desires. The food came out quickly and hot. The menu has your usual items and also some fun ones like the vice 13.5, a pulled pork sammie, the bulgogi wrap and the luau bowl. With so many goodies it was hard to decide but we chose the fan favorite breakfast burrito and the Italian cold cuts. Both were delicious. I added breakfast sausage to the burrito so it had that extra breakfast flavor. (They have other add ons). The Italian cold cut was filled with just the right ratios of meat, veggies and bread. Which I totally appreciate! We also had the tots and beer battered zucchini as sides which were both crunchy and delicious. We washed it all down with a mimosa and a blonde on tap. I was told there is a secret menu as well which includes the Mac Attack (it includes cheddar cheese, elbow macaroni, cheddar mornay and bacon bits!) and others. I clearly need to return!“

Yes they make a ton of different sandwiches on French rolls regular bread, They have been serving the area forever. I remember playing Basketball at the college around the corner and some days I could not wait to crack the doors and walk in to my favorite sandwich shop. The smell of dill pickles, fresh brad and whatever oil and Vinegar the us brings me nostalgia. I frequent this place often For lunch because it's another one of those local sleepers.
