I had a Benedict #2 with shrimps and crab and a root vegetable hash. Great stuff! They also have a coffee kiosk/bakery and a more casual menu for take out.“

Got there early, which wasn't a problem. Drank 2 beers at the bar while we waited. We actually ended up getting sat about 30 ahead of schedule 🤞🏽

Got seated upstairs, which was a first for us. For some reason the vibe is a lot more laid back up there I feel? Could just be me, not sure, but it was more my vibe for sure.

We ended up getting a couple items that the entire table shared. Shaken beef, wok egg noodles + shrimp, bowl of white rice, as well as the roasted crab.

Everything on point, everything delish. Ended uo spending around $230 I want to say, with tip included.“

“First time there and I came with my wife and two young kids. Food and service was excellent. We got a quesadilla and tacos. I preferred the quesadilla and my wife preferred the tacos. The place is kind of small so you can’t come with a large party and fit comfortably but other than that this place had no flaws. We will be back soon!“

Very simple basic menu, but everything was perfect. Flavorful, fresh, generously sized, good service. Everything was right. We are talking San Francisco - San Jose level of excellence for Vietnamese food. I used to think you had to go to the City to find great Vietnamese food, But now we have it local here in San Rafael. The other Vietnamese restaurants around town can't even compare. This restaurant is now on my short list. Coming back. Five star.“

“On a recent trip to SF I got to experience this Resturant. Cozy intimate and comfortable, we had an awesome meal. Some of the group were Vegan and they were able to accommodate them with ease. But the BEST part was the waiter he was so sweet kind and attentive. I wish I knew his name. I can’t wait to visit my family again to visit this place and oh yeah the prices are great.“

“This is a favorite location for seniors nearby especially if you like inexpensive price and large portions according to my auntie’s. It is basically comfort food. If you order family style, it comes with their house soup. We ordered, string beef with beef,salt and pepper pork chop, sweet sauce fried chicken (Omg. Delicious), tofu with beef and clay pot dish with eggplant. Everything was good but my favorite was the sweet sauce fried chicken. Would I come back? Definitely. It also got mom’s stamp of approval..“

“How this shop doesn't have a line out the door like Michael's is beyond me. Got the Mighty Viking with everything plus pepper jack and it is one of the best sandwiches I have had. “Wow this place has great food and reasonable prices, and should really hire a image consultant. It has greasy diner vibes and lacks the airy inviting beach Cafe ambiance, I think they'd make a killing with an image makeover, a few salads on the menu, and an espresso machine. For now I'm charmed by the mom and pop vibes and the good very reasonably priced food. Very hidden gem hole in the wall flavor. I'll be back and I recommend checking it out. Also understated are the beautiful cliff views.“

“I recently moved to San Anselmo, and am so happy I “found” The Hummingbird in nearby Fairfax. It’s in a good location at 57 Broadway Blvd. with plenty of free parking across the street. I really like the New Orleans vibe at The Hummingbird. The menu includes several creole items alongside standard breakfast and lunch choices. The servers are friendly, helpful, and efficient. The food is fresh and delicious. I love their catfish po’ boy sandwich. The fried green tomato BLT is very good too. My third visit will happen next week — I’m thinking waffle & fried chicken this time . . . or maybe the fried shrimp po’ boy sandwich.“
