“We ate here a few times during our recent stay. The seafood stew was delicious, perfectly cooked seafood that melts in your mouth. I'm a bread fanatic (what can I say) and the garlic bread shocked me it was so good. I would eat just a meal of the garlic bread if I could. The avocado pasta was also surprisingly good. Wouldn't have thought of that flavor combination but it worked well. Clam chowder was warming and a solid choice, again sort of overshadowed by my aw at the world's greatest croutons on to the soup? Whoever is baking and toasting the bread at this restaurant has a gift.

My least favorite dishes were the seafood risotto (tiny portion, barely any seafood in it), and the chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich had some sort of seasoning in it with the consistency of sand. Like chewing chicken covered in sand. Had to scrape it off.“

That said, I found the price to be very high compared to the portion and what you actually get. The food was definitely good, but at this price point, I’m not sure the value is there for me.

“This place is a hidden gem on 4th street in San Rafael. They have an excellent lunch buffet. The staff is friendly. SD is a great manager and it is a joy to dine at his restaurant. The chai and sweets are on point as well. Highly recommended to all guests.“

“We had the famous crab, fish fillet, and garlic noodles. The crab was fresh, but honestly, nothing too special about it. The fish was moist and fresh, and the garlic noodles were definitely my favorite.

Overall, I felt the food was a bit overpriced for what they serve. The flavors were just okay and the service was pretty average. Maybe worth trying once, especially for the famous crab, but I wouldn’t say it’s a must visit.“

I like the Chicken Caesar Wrap had a really unique and flavorful taste, I honestly enjoyed it a lot. Everything tasted fresh, and the Matcha Lemonade was super refreshing too. Definitely a spot I’d come back to again.

“WOW! - is how I would describe my experience with Kito's Tacos in Corte Madera. The tacos were brought to me on a steaming platter of goodness by a young man by the name of Oliver Binsdat. He was the most kind, helpfull, compasionate, and might I say handsome young boy. The food was just what I expected, but it was all made better by their outstanding service in the likes of Oliver Binsdat. I will be returning for more!“

I can’t believe more people aren’t talking about this place! I will certainly be back for more, after I finish the week’s-worth of leftovers. Just a heads up, it’s takeout only but don’t let that deter you.

Edit: came back again because the food was so delicious and affordable the first time around. This time I got general Cho’s chicken, tofu with vegetables (similar flavoring to the cashew chicken but no cashews), and pork fried rice (heaped with lots of pork!) I also got the cream cheese wontons which were divine“

Very simple basic menu, but everything was perfect. Flavorful, fresh, generously sized, good service. Everything was right. We are talking San Francisco - San Jose level of excellence for Vietnamese food. I used to think you had to go to the City to find great Vietnamese food, But now we have it local here in San Rafael.
